We found the streets around the resort dirty,smelly with various bins needing emptied.

A lot of old furniture is thrown out alongside bins from the locals.It needs tidied up a lot more often.

The resort does not have a lot nightly entertainment.

Only visited the beach once so not a lot to comment on.I think even for families it is too quiet.

The resort was a bit too quiet for us and a few shops seemed to have shut down, but it was a relaxing holiday.

Have spent 8 holidays on yhe Costa Brava and must say that Pineda was the quieter of all the other resorts.

We had two 15 yr old boys with us and other than playing pool in the hotle or local bars there was nothing to keep them entertained.

My opinion is that Pineda is more of your couple's area or for those seeking a quieter, relaxed atmosphere. But it wont put me off from visiting again.

Clean beach but backstreets have a lot of rubbish on the pavement around the bins.

The resort was clean but some bins needed emptying more often. There wasn't much entertainment a few pubs on the front. We liked the Bucanneer pub they had a quiz but we were the only young ones in there so didnt really have a clue. It's a quiet resort probably ideal for couples who want a relaxing holiday. There was bus stops though for the free bus that went to Waterworld and Marineland had a good time at both of these. The beach wasn't sand it was shingle so was a bit rough on your feet but it was still a nice beach and nice water very clean.

Did not use entertainment in the resort.

We love this area of Spain not too commercialised and not too rustic.
Beach and sea front very clean and tidy and good areas for beach sports, volleyball and football.

beach was very clean and quiet, pineda is a quiet part of costa brava and therefore much nicer.

pineda is a beautiful place very untouched but a very quiet relaxing sort of place, the beach was also beautiful but not very much english is spoken by the locals which sometimes can be difficult. i would definatly go back but not to paradise park!!!we also found a beautiful tapas bar where the food was lovely and only locals ate.

Not much to do the shops all on one street and cash machines difficult to find I prefer Callela and llorett for shopping.

All around us were lots of dogs which means dog mess (everywhere). A few shops around but nothing special.
They have a big market on fridays along the sea front.

Quite a quiet resort.

Pineda is a lovely place and would definatly go again, it nice and flat and suitable for oap's, disabled and young children. the train in any direction are every 30 mins, santa suzanna only take 3 min's and calella 5. The beaches are clean and plenty of space for everyone. If you are in your teens and want night life this is not the place for you.

We were impressed with Pineda, everywhere was spotless. The beach front is lovely & goes on for miles, it has seats spaced along & some trees for shade also. There are beach bars if you want a drink & the usual pedaloes etc. The train station is handy & you can go as far as Blanes in one direction passing Santa Susanna & Malgrat, & to Calella & on to Barcelona in the other way. We would definately go back to this resort again

Enjoyed the beach and the sea was brill,no problem with salesmen and the like.The trip on the nearby train to Barcelona was a bit of a waste of time as the staff hardly spoke any English although I got by on my little Spanish,the train was stopped a station or two before our destination and where left stranded not knowing where to go but managed to direct ourselves to the shopping centre although getting about with a pram was a nightmare (steps everywhere)Coming back the train stopped again and we had to change platforms with no info until I asked a station Policeman so nil poi for train travel!
Town centre was near as where local shops/supermarket which was a God send at times and the locals where friendly.Had a lovely drink and ice cream at one of the street cafes in Town and not expensive as thought it would be.

beach is shingle sore on the feet until you get used,watch out for waves the current is very strong,you go out about 4 feet and you find yourself in deep water,
not much shops here, go in to lloret for shopping it costs 24 euros in a taxi, but if you book a meal one of there one of there other hotels you get on the shuttle bus for free{but you have to give the driver a tips every time you get off,i would never go back even if i was getting it for free,gangs of youths start hanging around when it gets dark
