we have been to costa tequise twice before,this being our 3rd.i love lanzarote.costa tequise and i especialy like del carmen.the beaches are lovely and safe for kids to walk on the sand.no litter like you get over here.all in all i have been to lanzarote 5 times,and i am coming back in january 2011.cant wait

Stayed in Costa Teguise 4 times now and looking to buy somewhere there.Lovely clean beaches,great places to eat.Favourite pub is The Bulldog,where Tigger and Sarah are great.Ken D is big favourite there with my kids(The 3 Fivers)Love eating at the Slow Boat down the stree near the big Spar.Staff and food first class.Best Buffet by far.

Fairly clean beach,, nice quiet resort,, no tickets touts that we saw ,,plenty of bars and usual and shops selling the same stuff in each one .

Costa Teguise is nice and clean & very neatly laid out with flower boarders. Roads are very good. There is a nice traffic free coastal path with bars & restraunts along the way. Beaches are lovely golden sands with small bays as well as larger beaches. Very flat and pushchair & wheelchair friendly.

cheap car hire available everywhere to explore this great little island.

The resort is quite clean allthough there are some grubby areas. Plenty of bars and restaurant all very much of the same standard. Chinese restaurants do buffets for as little as 4.85 Euros, We tried the Slow Boat,21st. century,the Jumbo and 2 others the Jumbo was the best but they are all OK.
Irish bars the Shamrock and Irish bailey have singers but are expensive charging 16- 20 Euros for 2 pints and 2 tall drinks.
The Cutty Sark in front of hotel , good welcome, nice pint with some good food. Scrum and Tackle bar just off the square, small bar showing Rugby, 2 pints & 1 Barcardi & Coke, 1 G&T only 9 Euros and it was Gordons and Bacardi unlike some of the other bars.
It is now cheaper to eat in the UK than many of the restaurants in Lanzarote with a steak costing up to 16 Euros.

Costa Teguise is lively but not rowdy. There are plenty of places to eat and drink - from the ubiquitous 'all day breakfast' to the more up-market style of restaurants serving a variety of cuisines. during the time we were there, we were pestered by the staff of a few places to come in and eat at their restaurants. As we ate out every night, this was mildly irritating.
Shops and supermarkets stay open quite late (as is to be expected)which adds to the atmosphere in the evenings.
The shops are not that exciting - mainly tourist tat and beach stuff and so many perfume and alcohol (duty free?)shops - how many do they need!!
The beaches look good - plenty of space, although while we were there, we did not use them. It is possible to walk along the beach path and enjoy the sea even if it is too cold or wet to swim.
As we are a middle-aged couple we found that the resort catered for our needs, but we also had a hire car which meant that we were out and about during the day.
The island is beautiful and well worth exploring, so Costa Teguise is an ideal base.

We love Lanzarote, especially Costa Teguise. Quiet nightlife with bars and restaurants to visit. We were surprised the prices of everything doesn't seem to have risen as much as other countries.
We would definately not go all inclusive again as there was plenty of choice in the restaurants at reasonable prices.

Quite a small, spotless resort with most of the evening's entertainment hapening around the main square where there are some lovely bars, shops & restuarants. There is also a small market which happens every friday night. The beaches are great but the wind was quite strong at times which became a bit of a pain and I also found the people selling watches/sun glasses etc on the beach and bars a little too much (every 30 seconds someonoe would ask if you wanted to buy something !)

The place was clean and street cleaners was about all day picking up litter which was go to see.
There were lot of places to eat and drink. Though I must say that most meals were got in the Bulldog which is just around the corner. The food there was 1st class and I mean 1st class the steaks I got were done just as I ask for and very well priced. We went to other places for breakfast & lunch and found them all good. Most of the bar's had enterainment on every night.
The beach was about 2 or 3 min. walk down the street. We loved it.

The holiday was Great fun. The kids enjoyed it loads. The pools were a bit cold but once you got in you were fine. We went at a good time ( september ) becuase there wasnt many people there so we didnt have to rush for sun beds or have to que for drinks. The food was very good lots of choice, Hot and cold choices. The resort was very good and the kids enjoyed the mini disco at the end of the night. the entertainment for the adults wasnt that great even tho we had fun watching the staff doing greece. The staff were lovely and helped us out. Our room was cleaned every other day and they cleaned it very well. There was some cats but they didnt bother you. It was a good location becuase it was only a 5 min walk to the beach and to the shops.

the beach was about 10 mins walk from the hotel, which was a mixture of sand and small stones.there were several bars and restuarnts within 2 mins walk ,the best of which we found was legends bar,selling a great range of english beers.
if you are thinking of going we would strongly reccomend the ficus.
one of the best all iclusive holidays we have had and have been on 14!

the resort was nice however the beach is really for wind surfers, if you like boat trips or watersports then there is nothing on offer other than windsurfing or diving.
the place is also being hit hard by credit crunch with good few pubs closing or closed, 2 closed there doors in the two weeks we were there as they could just not survive.

Costa Teguise is a pleasant resort with nightlife entartainment available which caters for all tastes. Marinero Square has an excellent selection of bars, restaurants and entertainment. The sea front is well looked after and is a pleasant leisurely walk taking in a number of small coves.

Costa Teguise is lovely much better than expected although it is very windy but Lanzarote is known for that anyway.
Nice and clean and modern, love the square where a group performs for about a couple of hours 3 times a week.
Drinks seemed cheaper than PDC.
Lovely beach area and kept very clean.
I would stay here again, no question about it.

Lovely resort but did seem fairly quiet for July. Las Curachas Beach is beautiful. Lots of bars along the seafront to have a drink and take in the sights. Costa Teguise is very spread out, just when you think you found it all, you find more. Very clean and pretty place to stay. Great atmosphere in the square and some lovely restaurants especially El Patio which is superb.

the resort was kept very clean,with plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops.the beach wasn't the best to walk on but was spotless like the rest of the resort.

This was our first time in costa teguise as we usually stay in puerto del carmen, we were very happy here and the resort is so much more family friendly with play parks and play areas for the children. The breeze here is brilliant as the heat in puerto del carmen is very hard to stick. I found the resort very clean & every bar or resataurant we visited was clean and people were friendly. The beaches here are beautiful but the sea can be a bit rough for the wee ones, there is loads of wind surfers. There is a market in the square every friday night selling jewellery & pottery. I would definately recommend costa teguise as it is a quiet friendly resort.

Costa Teguise is a lovely clean resort, the beaches are great but there is always a wind, hence the wind surfing. Plenty of places to eat out at night from beach front bars to classy restaurants, Chinese and Indian. The Bulldog pub is always good for a night out with cold Amstel on tap and the Snug Irish bar in the square has good live music. The aqua park is well worth a visit at 22.50 for adults and 16.00 for kids. With the constant wind in this resort you don't overheat so if you are a sun worshipper looking for a great tan Costa Teguise is the place to go.

costa teguise is a small resort with lovely beaches and plenty of restaurants and bars and a nice craft market in the square on a Friday and tuesday nights

The resort of Costa Teguise is a fine size not too busy but enough to do to keep you entertained. Plenty of restaurants and a lovely beach. Too many sunglass vendors and offers of massage on the beach though there are only so many no thank yous to be said in a polite manner :-)

Resort is very nice and clean. Some shops and restaurants across the road,some say....Full english breakfast for 2.50 euro but then they charge same for tea or coffee. Try Bar Los Charcos, her names Cora, they do it all for 3 euros and its very nice, steak for 6 euro, kids meals were 3 euros with a drink. Theres a restaurant called Popeyes, she has a capital A on her chain and it means ATTITUDE! You think they would be glad for customers!!
Beach is very nice with lifeguards, but you need to walk to the right for a sandier beach, loungers and parasols are 8 euros a day.

Costa Teguise was a very clean place, never seen a piece of litter in 14 day's, numerous beaches all very clean some with nice shallow approaches into the sea ideal for kid's in all a very lovely place would totally recommend this place

The resort is very spread out, a very long and pedestrianised promenade which is flat on the whole and well lit. Plenty of bars and restaurants, shops very samey but ok to pop in for for a quick look.

We found the resort to be very clean and tidy with plenty of rubbish bins provided for litter.
Entertainment was not too bad,plenty of bars and restaurants offering live music and kareoke,plus some arcade amusement,mini golf and a bowling alley.
Beach standard was very good,again clean with good swimming and paddling areas for children plus showers to rinse off sea water,and rubbish bins provided.
We would visit here again as all facilities are quite close to hand.

Costa Teguise is a nice, compact holiday resort with plenty to see and do. There is a wide selection of bars and restaurants, which cater for all tastes. Don't expect much in the way of gift shops though, pretty much the same as all holiday resorts, for the best shopping you would have to go into Arrecife, which is only a short drive away. I can only comment on restaurants that we ate in.....so, I would recommend.....
'Tianamen' A Chinese buffet restaurant which is directly opposite where we stayed in Oasislanz, only 6 euros per person, the value for money was excellent, food very good, great variety.
'La Vaca Loca' A very small restaurant on the outside edge of the Pueblo Marinero...Great little place, lovely food, all homemade, friendly staff.
'Casa Blanca' A small steakhouse/fresh fish type restaurant, nice setting, lovely food.
'Natraj' An indian restaurant 5 mins walk from the centre, down a slight hill past the big(ish) Spar and just past The Black Bull pub. Food excellent, good value, would highly recommend this place. Extremely lovely setting and decor.
Down on the front, I would also recommend 'The Waterfront' (very nice breakfast), 'The Dolphin' and 'Hennessey's" for good wholesome food.
As for bars, the three I have just mentioned above are all very good, and I would also recommend 'Papa Jacks' for a very friendly, laid back drink with great staff, Mark and Claire, to serve you. 'The Lighthouse' for live music and good cocktails (my favourite being the 'pink pussy'!!!) served by the lovely Gemma, and also "The Hook' cocktail bar in the Pueblo Marinero, extremely nice cocktails served there.
This resort is not really for the ravers amongst us, but there is something for everyone, so if you are going there, I'm sure you will enjoy your hol

This was our second visit to Costa Teguise, we love it. The beach is beautiful, the weather is fantastic, bit cloudy & windy sometimes though. There are lots of nice places to eat we always try to stay clear of anywhere English and try Tapas restaurants instead so it feels like we are really on holiday. My girls who are 6 & 8 love the tapas food, canarian potatoes, olives, soups, etc. The food quality was good but not always excellent. A pint cost roughly between 1.50 - 2.00 euros, Cava is so cheap ( Sparkling Spanish wine, so I was in heaven!!) The restaurants cater for the family so well, they are very kind too the children, often receiving free drinks, lolly pops, alcohol free cocktails for the kids etc. I would definately go again.

Resort was very clean and has a nice little beach just opposite the hotel. It is very quiet here not much to do for the younger ones but being AI you don't need to leave the hotel. You can walk into Costa Teguise along the coast takes about 20 Min's at a steady pace . I would definitely visit this resort again.

We stayed in Costa Teguise 8 years ago as a couple so new it to be well-located for exploring the island with good beaches. We also new to pack warm clothes for the evening breeze! The Credit Crunch seems to be biting hard everywhere and in Costa Teguise this meant good deals were to be had on car hire and meals out. We hired a new automatic A-Class Mercedes for 3 days for only 85 Euros all in (insurance, unlimited miles and taxes). For meals out we liked Surf Wings overlooking Cucharas Beach. Choice of 6 starters and mains for 9.50 euros(e.g. prawns in garlic oil followed by sirloin steak), plus a good range of tapas and cocktails. Lani's nearby was also good and the fish was very good at La Chimnea in the complex opposite the hotel (set meals 7 euros for lunch, 11 euros for dinner). The waiter at La Chimnea kindly wrote out our daughter's food allergies in Spanish for us. For a touch of class we dressed up and popped across the road to the 5* Melia and enjoyed cocktails in their bar. (They come with canapes so don't work out that much more than normal and the mojitos were very, very good). There is a miniature rainforest in the Melia's foyer, complete with waterfalls, that's well worth a look. All the shopkeepers seemed ready to haggle on leather good and electrical items and the Friday market was good for jewellery. Junior enjoyed the bungee trampolines (5 euros for 10 minutes) and we all liked watching the windsurfers. I'd say the entertainment was pretty much what you made yourself. If you want a chilled-out beach holiday go to Costa Teguise, if you want night clubs go to Puerto del Carmen. (We did once, and hated it, but it was noticeably warmer and there were more places to eat).

Lovely resort felt totally safe walking around wasn't hassled, plenty of bars and restaurants most have live music, sports or karaoke. The beach was lovely with soft white sand and there was always that lovely breeze, very comfortable!

We loved the resort of Costa Teguise although on the journey from the airport, we did see a lot of empty buildings that had graffiti sprayed on but nothing in the resort. It was very clean, beaches were spotless, all with plenty of sunbeds available for hire. There are lots of different types of shops and hundreds of restaurants to eat in and the streets were very clean, making it a pleasure to go walking with a baby in tow. There is also a path way which goes all the way along the beach front from one side of Costa Teguise to the other but this does have street sellers and hair braiders ??? We have never been to Costa Teguise but will be going back again,,,

The resort was always clean and tidy, althou the toilets in reception were a little smelly.
The entertainment in the evening was ok and bareable, but could be better. My son of 3yrs really enjoyed it.
The beach was lovely especially along the promenade near the lighthouse end. No stones/rocks in the water just pure sand. It wasnt that busy on the beach and you could easily get a sun lounger. There were showers on the beach and toilets within walking distance. We enjoyed the beach more than by the pool. I was on edge when my son was by the pool area because of the slippery surface. I would come back to this resort again, because its in the centre of costa teguise, there are lots of shops/restaurants. the beach is real close by, and los zocos has lots to offer.

This resort is beautiful. So clean, no rubbish anywhere.We loved the beaches, the sea, the excursions. Fire mountain is an excellent excursion and Carlos (the tour leader) was fabulous, very informative and excellent with the children. The camel ride is great and a real treat for the kids.

The beaches are stunning, especially Jabillo (excuse spelling?) the sea here is green. It is so beautiful and well worth a few visits.

Didn't find much to do in the night. Ryans bar was good, very friendly staff here. La Ola nice place to eat.

The resort was clean and well kept, but there was a regular cool wind blowing, If you like to soak up the sun on the beach or by the pool then maybe Puerto del Carmen or Playa Blanca would by better as the south of the island seems to be less windy and warmer. There is a promenade a couple of minutes walk from the Lanzarote Bay hotel, which goes into the centre of Costa Teguise, which is about 30-40 minutes stroll or less.

Costa Teguise is a lovely resort but because it was the 1st February when we went it was very quiet especially in the evenings and there was a very cool breeze constantly blowing.
There are lots of restaurants, more so than bars. I can't remember how many Chinese restaurants were there but there was some keen competition because it was so quiet.
We found an excellent bar called Steptoes which was about a 10minute walk from where we were staying (El Guarapo). It was a very friendly English bar with a Happy Hour between 8-9pm. For a large beer and treble Gordons Gin & Tonic, the price was 3.25 Euros. Truly amazing.
The beaches are very good, much better than what I imagined, but very few people were able to use them because of the unpredictable weather.
All in all we enjoyed Costa Teguise, but felt that 1 week was long enough

Costa Teguise is never a dissapointment if you are looking for a quiet family resort. The three beaches cater for different needs, one for water sports and exciting water play, one for famiy, ideal for small children and snorkeling and one more that is a more natural beach and less crowded but with a steep rocky shelved beach not ideal for children. There are endless restaurants and bars particulary liked the Scottish Bar. There are plenty of bars offering entertainment and they are all very welcoming. The restaurants are also plentiful and very welcoming but the credit crunch is clearly having an affect with some closing down. It also means that you can eat out fairly cheaply and to a good standard. The locals are generally very friendly and the resort is mostly clean although again there is evidence of building work being abandoned and perhaps general maintenance of buildings being neglected. Would highly recommend any sea trips on catamarans or boats as these are fabulous with excellent crews, looking after your every need during your trip. I would definitely visit the resort again because it's an ideal place to relax and watch the world go by.

The resort itself was lively to a certain degree but as the children had made friends within the hotel and being A/I we didn't go out much other than when we hired a car for 3 days.

First visit to Canary Islands and an enjoyable one. Met up at resort/accomodation with four family members - to give them an unexpected surprise. To the rear of the El Trebor we had about 5 or six pubs/restaraunts. Shopping centre about 1/4 mile away. Although browsing the shops was enjoyable, we were plagued by the "pushy Sales Persons of what I assume are of Indian origin". I quite enjoyed their pressure sales and tricks - as I bought nothing from them, and could handle them and at the same time have a "chuckle at them". As soon as you stop outside the Electrical/Camera shops they pounce and try to sell you their wares. My advice is that what they will offer you will be too good to be true - which you will find to be the case. Please don't fall for their patter and sales tactics. Pubs were good and toilets inside pubs were clean. Can highly recomment 21st Century Chinese Restaraunt at the top of Costa Teguise - 7.50 euros for Buffet style eat as much as you like. As a party of six we were all impressed and happy with the food/selection of food and service. We had a meal at the Irish Bar (beside Spar shop) at the rear of El Trebor. I had a Sirloin Steak (and it was the best I had tasted for about 25 years). It was shown in the menu as being "cooked Irish style" - the barperson was English and she asked me what "Irish style" was - so I told her "one steak beside the other"!!! Bar Bex is a pleasant little establishment, again at the upper end of Costa Teguise - so whether you are a Man City supporter (as are the owners) or just enjoy "taking the rip" out of Man City this is the place to pop into. Resort is kept very clean and I hope to return their again. Quiet resort - so not for those who want to party day and night.

When we were there everywhere was very quiet. Not a lot going on. Most bars, restaurants seemed to have very little business but admittedly we we out early evening so perhaps they did get busy later on. Shops seemed to contain the same souvenirs and were quite boring. Enjoyed the market at Teguise on the Sunday. Plenty to see and do there.

Costa Teguise is a small resort that has mixed tourist and residential areas.The beaches are well kept but small, the largest being of black sand.Quite a few bars but didn't see anything that looked like a good restaurant.It has an excellent and cheap bus service.It boasts lots of supermarkets and a few very small very limited shopping malls.Hope this is useful.

resort itself was kept clean was very quiet when we was there some nice restaurants la provence was our favourite and did get busy a lovily little bar called the snug in the square listnen to the guy on the guitar at 10pm really funny also if you want a bit of fun go to the lively lady its a drag act thats a good night out.with the euro being the way it is we found everything a lot more expensive we spoke to two different couples that decided to go home after there first week due to the prices average prices of a meal without a drink started at 8 euros chinese buffet 21st century nice 750 euros eat all you like.if i go next year i will be packing plenty of snacks this resort is not recomended for youngsters looking for lively holiday more of a family resort

Excellent family resort. Beaches clean and safe for children. Play park for younger children with bar and restaurant opposite so you can relax while keeping an eye on kids. Good selection of restaurants and bars.

We didn;t make it to the beach as the pool was private so spent most of the week in the villa. It was lovely & sunny all week sometimes a bit cloudy in the morning but this always cleared. I was abit dubious about going to lanzarote for the first time as I've always known it as "Lanzagrote!" when in fact it's quite the opposite! It's one of cleanist Spanish Islands I've visited. There are a good selections of places to eat & drink - they LOVE kids out there my 2 and a half year old daughter was spolit rotten!! A very friendly place.

Found the resort very quiet indeed. The wind was quite chilly at times. Not much in the way of night life. More suited to older couples. Much prefer Puerto Del Carmen or Playa Blanca. If it is a relaxing holiday you are looking for Fuertaventura is a far better bet. Spent time at the Bluebell Bar, good location, price and friendly staff.

The resort is very nice, obviously it is windy in Lanzarote and Costa Teguise gets the wind but we prefer that when it is high tempreture because it definately helps. There are loads of bars and restuarants in the main resort and the beach was lovely, at that time of year it was quiet. We would most definately go back .

Costa Teguise is fab! We were worried that nowhere would be open in October but everywhere was. We tried most of the restaurants by our hotel and all were great, good food and excellent service.
The beaches were lovely, even if they are man-made. 8 euro's for a 2 sunbeds and an umbrella.
The weather was excellent, sunny and not too hot in the coastal breeze. we did have 1 day where it rained for about an hour in the afternoon - nice to cool off in. The sea is cold but still fun.
There are loads of english restaurants so do not expect to find authentic spanish cuisine but everywhere we ate the food was delicious and the service was friendly and warm. Fat Larry's is the best 50's diner anywhere and Inn in the Square do the best cup of tea and breakfast!

I have been to Lanzarote before but was a bit disapointed it looked a bit dirty all the people we met were friendly. My mom came on holiday who is in 70's so it was good for her to get about without much walking.

This resort is perfect for families with young children. There are play parks which are free, a few arcades, bowling, mini golf and a few other things for them to do. There are a few beaches, all of which are spotless, and the resort itself is also spotlessly clean. There are plenty of restaurants to suit all tastes icluding India, Chinese and Italian. There is entertainment for everyone and plenty of shops in the main street. It is a beautiful are and the people are very friendly.

Resort was fairly clean the usual tin cans and plastic bags were present especially along the walkway in front the coastline. Alot of dis-used space around.
We didn't go onto the beach as it was cold and wet but it looked fine,showers were on the beaches.
There were plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from and a spar shop which stocked all you would need.There is also a big Netto store.
Personally I found Playa Blanca much nicer.

I found the resort of Costa Teguise lovely, nice family resort, kids welcome in all places and if you want the busy nightlife you can get it, but also plenty of places for a qiuet drink. Something for everyone. Beaches great, clean and big enough for everyone. An allround resort.

the resort is ideal for families.plenty of eating places and a good selection of bars.would recommend the "21 century" chinese restaurant located by the mini golf.they did a brilliant buffet 7.50 euro per adult half price for kids,a choice of 43 dishes.

we found the resort to be nice and clean with a good selection of bars and eateries. The sunday market trip from the irish bar near the spar shop was brilliant value at 12 euros each including an excellent sunday lunch on return.. there happy hour was great as it started as our all inclusive bar closed, great arrangement. lots of volunteers getting up to sing, some better then others , but all game for a laugh. Very friendly resort.

This was our first visit to Lanzarote and although we knew that it is a volcanic island we did not realise to what extent. We hired a car for 3 days so that wecould travel to see some of the other resorts (we stayed in Costa Teguise). We went to Playa Blanca which we liked and Puerto Del Carmen which we didnt like - it islike Blackpool with sun - we come from Blackpool. We do not go on the beach as you cant push a wheelchair on the sand so we cant really comment about that. We were only there for a chilling out week which we did and enjoyed it. We would visit Los Zocos again but maybe in a year or two.

We've been to Playa Blanca 4 years ago but much prefered Costa Teguise. Resort was very clean, although some parts were a little scruffy.
The best parts were beachs and restaurants. I've not a beach person but went there everyday and we only had one bad meal in two weeks.
Had a few trips out to the national park and Arreciffe.
Overall, loved Costa Teguise and would def return!

altho lanzarote is known for cockroaches we only saw 2 the whole time we were there 1 baby one in our room and 1 that was in the street in the town. altho the beach was a 10min walk from our hotel but its was clean and tidy and was only 8euros for 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella. the sea was also clear and clean. one place you must visit in costa tequise is the lively ladys bar which from 10pm has a drag act on jo king and kitty are hillarious altho the act can be a bit rude but kittys bingo is hilarious and we won a bottle of vodka in the raffle

I found Costa Teguise to be very clean, no rubbish left anywhere. The beach was also very clean and we often saw people out and about picking up any rubbish left. All resturants and bars catered for children and all food was reasonly priced. Would be happy to take my family back to Costa Teguise.

Costa tequise is a lovely place but a little bit too quiet. It's very clean and safe there.A bit too much windy.Doesn't mean it's a cold wind but unfortunately it brings clouds over there.Lots of bars and pubs and restaurants.Our favourite was Los Cucharas bar with big portions and excellent price- they don't add those ridiculous 5-10% on top of your bill.
Lovely beaches and water is so clean.Place is not very cheap!Prices almost the same like in UK! Lots of British tourists and everywhere they serve English food so you might be dissapointed if you expect to eat exotic canarian food.

The resort was very clean and was taken care of very well.
The entertainment was exellent and fantasctic to watch and anticipate in
the water on the beach was crystal clear and you could dee tropical fish swimming by.

we found Teguise clean and tidy.the resort has lots and lots of nice places to eat out at in the evening,though not alot in the way of entertainment.its a good place for young families and couples just looking for a place to chill out as there are not alot of late night disco,s that we saw.everything starts to quieten down at about 11.30pm. the main beach is very windy and the sea can be quite rough ,however there is a small beach called Jabillio beach just across the road from the galeon playa which is ideal for young children.

I liked Costa Teguise, the kids liked it too. The kids liked the bungy trampolines and the little play areas, the beach was nice but a bit too windy for my liking and i was covered in sand as it was blowing around everywhere. I preferred th beach in Puerto del carmen. buses run regulary from Costa Teguise to Puerto del Carmen. There are a lot of nice places to eat and if you like chinese food there is a lot of Chinese restaurants and there are a lot of english bars.

The resort is good, there is a Kids club for up to 12 year olds and they do dances at lunch, Bless.
and music is played quietly around the food area which is good. the beach. Well its a beach, its okay if you like beach's im not a fan of them really though, but its sandy and a nice safe cove easy to get to through a underpass. adn there is a gate and steps leading too it, if you dont want to go under the underpass.

Costa teguise is such a lovely place for couples and familys.It is not a place for partying.Nightlife is very low key but there is some lively places.Cactus jacks and Legends seemed popular.You can get a bus ride to peurto dedl carmen for 2.50 euros each which is also very nice,the best part was the beach.I usually hate the sea and will not go nowhere near it,but i was swimming like a fish in there,it was lovely.I would visit Costa Teguise again.

As we were all inclusive we weren't in the resort very much but Iliked what I saw of it. It was clean and the beach was very nice too.I would go back again

It is a 5 minute walk to the beach which is voclanic and golden sand mixed together. The resort entertainment is ok, the pubs and eating places sometimes have a show on every night.

Resort was very nice, although lots of annoying PR people trying to get you in to their restaurant!

we had some loverly walks around this resort which was nice.

We stayed in Los Zocos and have to confess didn't venture far as the kids didn't want to leave their new found friends for too long.

The sea front is nice ....a few lucky men but they were pleasant enough and not too persistant.

Beach: We went to Las Cucharas beach which was nice and clean with showers along so you could rinse off. 2 sunbeds and a parasol 8 euro for the day. Unfortunately we didn't make it to Playa Bastian.

Eating out: There are a number of bars along the seafront by Los Cucharas Beach....following recommendations on here we ate at the Cutty Sark on our first night out of the hotel....the staff were lovely and friendly and the food good....meaning we returned there 3 or 4 more times......roast dinner Sunday and Tuesday night, curry night Wednesdays. The curries were lovely....we didn't have the roast unfortunately.
There are other bars and restaurants which are slightly hidden away.......we ate at EL PATIO, the food was nice and the service good....if a little rushed as they were very busy. WE also ate at EL PADRINO, the meal was nice but the service not so good.....We also ate at LANIS the food was okay but nothing special and the drinks were very expensive meaning this was the most expensive meal of our holiday.

Shopping: There was a small market in the square on the friday evening which had lots of nice jewellery items and other souvenirs, there are a few gift shops on the sea front also.
There are plenty of small supermarkets......netto and spar....spar was slightly cheaper than netto.........if you are travelling with food allergies we were unable to find much appropriate in resort (apart from soya milk) If you take the bus to Arrecife bus station there is a small shopping centre with a Eurospar (just across road from bus station and football ground) They have a few things in the Eurospar but there is also a health food shop in the centre which sells several non dairy milks and gluten/wheat free foods.
On the last day we noticed a Eurospar on the outskirts of the resort itself, I'm not sure whether there is a bus that passes, but I think I would still go to Arrecife anyway as you have the option of the health food shop aswell.

Money: If you don't have one of the commission free debit cards I would change money there as we got a much better rate than we would have done if changing it here.

We would go back to Costa Tequise

When all said and done we really enjoyed the holiday and would go back to costa teguise.
I would recommend to any one going to costa teguise to exchange your cash when you get there. We got 1.18€ in UK and 1.25€ in the resort.
Even though we paid all inclusive we went out most nights. There are a couple of bars that I would recommend to anyone as the food and drink was excellent and the atmosphere created by the owners was brilliant.

the resort its self is beautiful but with very little going on,we only found a couple of bars and restaurants.. the beach is lovely but when its windy here it is definately windy and theres no shelter however did visit the market which is worth a look and the water park which did keep the children entertained all day.

Beautiful resort with lots of nice bars and restaurants. It had a lovely beach and you could walk to the next resort in a few minutes. We found there was plenty to entertain you and lots of trips to take if you wished. I would definately return to this resort again.

A small and compact resort wth fantastic beaches .Very windy when we were there which meant sitting on the beach was a little uncomfortable .Lots of places to eat and relax with a drink .Some of the shops looking a little run down but all in all a good family resort .

the resort of costa teguise is very windy and i mean windy mostly pretty. and fairly clean. nice walk from the back of the hotel into costa teguise along the so called beach. except for a couple of places where you could smell the sewage from the hotels. all in all not on my top list of places to return to

I absolutely loved the location as there were lots of different places to eat and shop and lots to do. The beach was lovely although we had to pay 4 Euros a day for our sun loungers.

Costa Teguise is a nice resort, its clean and well maintained. Plenty of bars and resturants and plenty of people trying to get you to come and eat and drink in theirs. We didn't visit the beach in Costa Teguise because of the wind, even a walk near the beach during the day left you sandblasted, best exfoiliant i've had!! We hired a car and saw quite a lot of the island and were lucky enough to go to Playa Blanca on the windiest day in Teguise, you wouldn't believe you were on the same island, Beautifl beach in Blanca, large but very busy, and not a drop of wind.
The trip to Fire Mountain is well worth it, had a great afternoon/evening. Tour guide very knowledgable.
We ate in Puerto Del Carmen on a few nights, very busy there but food good.

To be honest we stayed in the quiet part of Costa Teguise and, although there were a couple of bars which we enjoyed going to, a better variety would have been nice. The beach was quite small. The best bars were Steptoes and Dickens which did both food and drinks. It was nice to walk along the promenade to the slightly louder part of Costa Teguise. If you like walking, the scenery is beautiful whilst walking. If you want a loud busy place, this is not the resort for you.

The apartement was situated within 5 minutes walking distance of costa teguise centre where there is a wide and varied choice of restaurants and shops. As this is a mainly family resort, there were no noisy clubs which is exactly what we wanted. The shops and restaurants open late and are situated on the sea front, providing beautiful sunset views over the sea whilst eating dinner. Costa Teguise is ideally situated with an excellant road network allowing good access to the whole island. There are some lovely places to visit locally although the island itself provides a rugged but beautiful landscape to just look at enjoy.
Definately an island worth visiting - I shall enjoy returning to Costa Teguise.

Very quiet and spread out and certainly not aimed at party animals.Get out early to eat out as many bars stopped serving food at 9.30pm(turning out time in mainland Spain).Did not see much in the way of entertainment and some streets had tumbleweed blowing about they were that quiet.The main beach was quite nice but again very very quiet.Would not revisit as we like our resorts to be much livelier than this one.

Costa teguise was lovely clean not over run with bars and shops just nice the square with bars around it looked really nice but we were AI so we didnt eat outside the hotel. The beaches were great one was a bit shingly but the other right next to it was beautiful the waves were gr8 for surfing etc but not too rough as they come in for the kids.

Costa Teguise is a nice resort but there really isn't much to do there. There's only so many times you can visit the same shops & bars. I'd go again (been there 2 times now) but only for a relaxing pool/beach holiday.

We are as a family very much into Greece, but have always wanted to try the canaries.
Overall we had a fantastic time with great meals in the resorts restaurants.
In particular a place called "the patio" or "Le serially" ? Or something like that. Its right opposite "Hooks" cocktail bar. Good meals there.....
Many chinese restaurants if thats your bag [ not ours ].
Lots of very stereotypical English / Irish / Scots theme type pubs with karaoke a plenty, if again thats your bag [ but not mine ]
Some bars that are not karaoke [ hurray ] like "hooks", so you could escape the din of the others.
Nice beach....
But the wind at night can actually be chilly, take chunky woolies ! I kid you not ! And that is the reason we would never go back I suppose.
In Greece its t'shirts and shorts at night [ and why not ? After all its a SUMMER holiday ] Unfortunately Corralejo is way too chilly on an evening for me as I dont see why on earth we would want to feel cold on our summer hols.

I found the resort of Costa Teguise lovely and I have been before and would come again. There are many bars and restaurants around, it is definately for families I would say as it is not too busy. We hired a car and visited other resorts on the island finding Playa Blanca very nice.

loads of very good bars restaurants all very very child friendly most of them have entertainment . the beach is very clean . can't wait to go back

the beach was lovely n clean every day it was raked for seawead and any butt end were removed with a fishing rod LOL. the only thing which spoiled the area was the lucky lucky men god the hastle u all day....

Costa Teguise is a nice, laid back resort. I would describe it as perfect for families and couples.

I think the best thing about this resort is the restaurants, we ate at La Provence nearly every night. I had a T Bone which was excellent and also the mixed grill...delicious and cooked perfect. We always went for a walk before our meal on an evening, so whether it was shops, bars or just a walk along the coast it was very enjoyable. I wouldn't call it a buzzing resort, but there was enough to keep me and my husband happy.

Resort was clean. Enough shops, but all very similar. Beach was lovely and clean. Excellent with showers on beach to clean yourself of sand before leaving.

It is a beautiful resort, we would def return again and again, we stayed in puerto del carmen 4yrs ago and i much prefer costa tequise, but if its nightlife your looking for costa tequise is very low key with more family fun for entertainment which was ideal for us. Def visit the cutty sark for breakfast and dinner, good home cooked food, good selection and spotless clean.

we have been costa teguise many times, love it as it is breezy bit chilly in may on the evening so id take a jacket or shrug,beach is stunning love watching the windsurfing,as i said before try splash for a meal and saxos for a drink loved the music quiz and if you go say hi to grant aka shrek at saxos lovely man.

the resort was clean , beach was good , however it was very quiet and personally thought resteraunts where generally more expensive , than we expected.
because it was early season it almost at times seemed like a ghost town in some parts , however perhaps the bitter winds that blew across the resort at night had something to do with this.
personally nothing stood out about costa teguise to make us want to go back again.

the resort was whatever you wanted to make it. you could have a quiet meal and drink or go out late for karoke if desired. the beaches were clean with plenty of bars etc - although not many public loos.

This was already our second visit to Costa Teguise in two years.
It seems a well kept place although we have not sampled any of it's night time entertainment.
The beach looks to be well kept and some work to thr front was ongoing while we were there.
We love going to the Taj Mahal Indian Restaurant, its really good food there.

Costa Teguise brillant resort, family friendly & plenty to see & do. Awesome Indian restaurant called Mirtaji & Legends bar lives up to it's name, entertainment starts at ten & finishes at two.

The beech in costa tiguse is nice and clean and there was plenty of bars and shops there,i found it a little quiet and it was easter, but that made a change.

Entertainment in the resort was really good especially at the Legends Bar and Cactus Jacks is also worth a look. A bit further down from Legends there is a fab shopping centre which sell alot of allsorts!!! The Aqua park is excellent but a bit pricey. All in all a good holiday but we wouldn't take the kids there again, there wasn't enough to keep them occupied. It is good for adults to go to relax and get away from it all.

The beaches around Costa Teguise vary greatly in size but are clean, with lifeguards on duty at the popular surfing ones.

Streets in and around the resort are kept clean and litter free.

The majority of entertainment seems to be around smallish cafe/bars but there is a fair amount of live music and sports TV.

Lovely, safe resort. Good range of restaurants, we ate in a different one for 7 nights and each was good value for money and enjoyable. The beach was clean, the sea although cold, was clean and the kids spent hours looking for fish in the rock pools. Many different types of bars, English, Irish and Spanish tapas bars. Mainly families and couples here not the place for 18/30's.

Felt that Costa Teguise is a little run down lots of bumpy pavements, pubs and restaurants up for sale etc. Lots of restaurants catering for English people, and not to expensive. The beach is kept very clean and the sand sculptures are amazing!My daughters loved the waves, not strong currents so they played for ages. We are not ones for clubs and pubs etc so were pleased with the general ambience. We were lucky enough to see the carnival and really enjoyed it, the weather was great and would recommend this resort to anyone wanting a wintersun break

We were impressed with the level of cleanliness generally on Lanzarote and Costa Teguise was no exception. There are plenty of bars and restaurants although it would probably not suit teenagers. We didn't spend anytime on the beach but it looked vey clean.

costa teguise i=was fantastic there was just enough to do and the beaches were great. this was my 7th time in this resort and have booked another in june. there are fantastic walks good pubs and bars and pleanty of places to eat. its the most relaxing place i have been without being to rowdy and to quiet. the weather eas fantastic. The resort of costa teguise is a very family friendly resort. There are lots of souvenior shops, restuarants and bars including english food and drinks.
The local bus service is good but a bit of a rough ride in places and make sure you know where to get off as the drivers only speak spanish and there are no signs to say where you are.
The beach was lovely and clean.Sun loungers are supplied at a small cost.
The only problem we found with the resort was bits of broken glass on pathways and the aggresive looking wild cats but they were fine if you didnt touch them.

The resort of Costa Tegise, is lovely, its quiet and easy to get about. There are many bars and restaurants, so there is something for everybodies price and taste.

The only complaint is that are no public loos, especially near the beach, although when we were there in January, I think they were installing some.

We have been to this resort before, and we would certainly go again.

Having visited Puerto del Carmen, Playa Blanca etc, we did prefer Costa Teguise. It had the edge on the others for that certain something, but the others had the better beaches. It all depends on what you want from your holiday, and the buses are very easy to use.

generally clean and tidy resort but there is an amount of graffitti mostly on the outskirts of town. some broken and worn paths, use of uneven volcanic rock for steps urges caution. low key entertainment, but plenty of small bars/restaurants. diving schools. good for windsurfing.

Costa Teguise is a nice resort with great bars and restaurants around the centre. Some apartments are a fair bit away from the centre so look at a map befor booking. Back streets are not well kept with the usual missing drain covers and broken pavements, but generally walking around is quite pleasant.
The Canaries are not cheap any more, with the euro exchange rate being low, a pint of lager and a glass of wine costs 5 to 6 euros or £4.40ish a meal in a cheap restaurant with drinks will cost around 20 euros for two around £16ish.

The whole resort is kept spotless and so is the beach. There is no pushy peolple trying to get you in the shops.If you get a chance to go on the submarine safari it is well worth going, it was 52 euro's per person but it was well worth it, there is an aqaurium at the bottom of the road, it is 12 euro but again very good.

This is the first time that we had been to Lanzarote and would go back again tomorrow. The resort was excellent with plenty to do. Although it was very quiet when we were there we had plenty of choice. The resort was very clean and no complaints about the resort. I have only given the beach a 3 as, although it was clean when you went into the sea you had to watch you did not stand on rocks. If you can find a bay with no rocks, which we did the beach was excellent.

I love the resort. Can't make my mind up when to go back. Plenty to do and see, the grand tour is excellent value for money.

The resort was quiet when we were there, there is no real shutting time of pubs so once the last customer goes home they close.
The beaches were lovely, clean and tidy and quiet which is always good.
I would defo come back to lanzarote but would go to the main town next time as this was just a bit too quiet for us.

Didn't really go out on an evening, however during the day there were plenty of walks to the shops and beach, with plenty of dodge the hair braiders who are extremely persistant and the very annoying electronics shop assistants who felt it was their duty to harrass you.
Would maybe go again to Lanzarote again, this was our second visit and its a bit quiet and boring but very good for a chill-out week.

This resort is clean and have friendly helpful staff for all your needs, it is in a perfect location.

The entertainmnet I did hear was great but we went out every night so didn't see any, there are great beaches on door step with fantastic night life around.

We went across the road most nights to the bulldog for dinner and live music.

There are several beaches attached to this resort. Which are all pretty clean, but some are a little rockier than others. Beware of the windsurfers on the main one.

There are plenty of places to eat out. There are also quite a number of supermarkets too if you are self cstering.

There is plenty of building work going on around the outskirts of the resort, but this did not affect us as we were there over Christmas. But to be honest, this should not affect most people as it is away from the centre of resort.

There are quite a number of car hire companies. We hired a car for a couple of days, and would thoroughly recommend this as it is a great way of seeing the rest of Lanzarote. All main roads are well maintained, but just be careful of minor roads that can sometimes be gravel tracks. By having your own car, you can get to the main attractions early on before the coach parties arrive.

It was the first time we had been to Lanzarote. Luckily for us the weather was beautiful, not bad for New Year.
We tried different eating places, but be warned. We walked out of the Taj Mahal in the centre. Service was diabolical, and the food no better. We paid for our starter then left. Many other people did the same.
I would come back again in the winter,( for the weather) a little too commercialised for the summer.

Costa Tahiche was an amazing place to visit the first time to Lanzarote. I would definately go back there again.
All the bars especially Henesseys were very friendly, reasonably priced food and drink. The bars made you feel welcome at all times.

We went for New Year, so it was very chilly in the evening - so i would say if you go that time pack plenty of cardigans and long trousers (unlike me) Thank god they have some nice clothes shops around.

Places worth visiting are the Volcanos (dont go if your afraid of heights) and the Caves - They were fantastic.

We loved Costa Teguise it was very family friendly with a lovely beach but can get a bit windy.

Stayed here before and would again! Very relaxed and quiet but plenty to do if you want to.

There was plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. There is also a local market on a Friday in the square which sells authentics souviners.

The cocktails are amazing, we especially liked a place called Hook which is in there square about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. the serve them in huge glasses with fresh fruit, umbrellas and sparklers!

There is a waterpark that is a 10 minute taxi ride away, which is good fun and would keep kids entertained for hours.

As we were only there a week we didn't get to do nearly as much as we would have liked but when we reurn we will be sure to do everything we missed.

Costa teguise was a lovely place the beaches were lovely and clean and the sea good for snorkeling and windsurfing there are various attractions to see eg. timanfaya national park ,water park ,rancho texas all don,t take long to get to and taxis are plentiful there is also a bus service.There is alovely square with various bars and restaurants and every Friday a craft market which was nice.

Costa Teguise is one of the smaller resorts and has all the entertainment required for an enjoyable holiday. Not a disco/nightclub holiday. There is plenty of eating establishments for whatever your taste and plenty of bars stay open late with live entertainment. There's a great beach and a lot of activity on the sea - windsurfing, skiboats etc. You are not bothered by on-street salespersons - a real bonus.

The resort itself is very clean and tidy lots to do and see from submarine day trips to the zoo and aquarium.

Volcano trips ,horse riding ,western nights so you wont be bored oh and check out the market on a sunday well worth a trip football kits bags ect.

Make sure you haggle !!

A lovely clean resort, enought entertainment to keep you going, plenty of restaurants, bars etc. The beach is spotless with plenty of loungers and sea is warm. Would definately go back to this resort.

Costa Teguise is in much need of a face lift. Bars/shops boarded up along the front which doesn't give a very good impression. Teguise is very much like Blackpool in the sun and not ideal for a family holiday.

Unable to say much about resort as we never walked into the centre due to a severe shortage of street lights.

Can't really comment on the resort much as we only went once.

Volcanoes nearby are a great attraction, and can be seen in most places in costa tehuise. If hiring e-co bikes, a cycle path goes along the seafront, with some cafes around it to stop for a drink-recommendation for the toledo bar, with pool. The path end then turns into a road to arecife, but then onto a busy main road, i dont recommend cycling, very dangerous. Overall a great resort, and had an amazing holiday!!

lots of lovely bars and resturants, friendly staff and they seemed to love kids. went to Scotch and Wry most nights for "one for the road" and for the 2 scotland games during our stay.outstanding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Costa Teguise was a very nice resort which had a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Everything needed was only a few minutes stroll from our accommodation. The beach was very nice with lots of sunbeds and umbrellas. A good resort for families and couples who don't want to go clubbing!

The resort was great, plenty of friendly pubs, although not much in the way of entertainment for the younger generation (apart from karaoke), although there were a few good quiz nights at The Dolphin where the staff get the customers really involved.

The resort is a good place for couples and has a lot of very good restaurants, including Lani's Cantina (Tex Mex), The Lighthouse Bar, the Tapas bar in the town square (where the Friday market is held - sorry, forgotten the name!!).

A seperate mention has to go the the Taj Mahal Indian restaurant just off the main restaurant street. The food was absolutely perfect every time and the staff were always very polite and very helpful. 10 out of 10.

The beaches were lovely and there are plenty of shops and things to do during the day, including lots of value for money excursions around the island (the island tour and Catlanza experience are definately worth a go).

We would definately go back to Costa Teguise. Everything was great and it was an absolutely fantastic holiday.

the resort was really clean i didnt venture too much as i was all inclusive but what i did see of it was really nice the beach was huge with little coves and the sea crystel clear it was that clear u could see the fish through it. plenty of shops. really enjoyed it.

The resort was wheelchair accessible as were most of the restaurants. Eating out was similar in price as to cafes, restaurants over here. Watch out for cheap food places as the drinks are more expensive and they add a service charge onto the bill.

Not as many 'typical' bars clubs as I imagined. It was much more a family or older persons resort than for young clubbers- unless we looked in the wrong places.

Cigarettes are soooo cheap. There is a cheap shop on the main road which sells only alcohol, cigarettes, tobacco etc. For 200 of there own brand 'CK' it worked out at £2.99 for a pack- thats 200 not 20!

There is a lovely breeze making it pleasant for walking in unlike some areas of Spain.

I cannot fault the resort at all.

the resort was clean half of the rubbish we saw was disgarded was by holidaymakers, if you want a good night out go to legends great for all the family, plenty of resturants to choose from and only a short distance away, the beaches were clean some quiet ones and you go further along and they get busier. would we go back of course we are.

we enjoyed the swimming pool for the first day then it was emptied out. we thought it was just for cleaning but 3 days later it was still empty. (so was the hotel all the other visitors were moved to anothe hotel) I comlpained the next day and got transferred late in the evening the next hotel was ok. but we found being moved in the middle of our holiday was not to good.

Beautiful clean resort, we had wheelchair and found no problems getting about.
Entertainment in resort was very good and plenty of it. One not to be missed is the Lively Lady showbar different show every night and hilarious.
Beaches were really clean, water clear and lots of fish, there was plenty of sunbeds and plenty of bars.

costa teguise..a quite pretty litle place some nice bars and places to eat the footpathes do not seem to be finished anywhere though,the entertainment is to say the least sparse,the beaches are nice and clean the best feature of the place by far

There are plenty of bars and restaurants in Costa Teguise. We would recommend Jumbo, a Chinese restaurant and The Lighthouse (especially for a cooked breakfast).
A few of the bars have entertainment but we found it was luck on the night.
The beaches are fine but make sure you go when it is not too windy as the sand being blown at you does get annoying.
We would visit Costa Teguise again but not in the immediate future as there are lots of places we have not been to yet.

close to everything lots of nice pubs and eating places within a few minutes walk highly reccomend a breakfast and a drink or two at the bar under the apartments(that is now called bar bex) good food and even better company run by a great family.the beach was ok but the water a bit choppy for us though. pretty quiet and friendly resort throughout. oh and i must reccomend the "hole in the wall" where Juan makes a great pizza or steak roll.Costa teguise is quite a windy place but sometimes youre glad of it when it gets so hot

We have been holidaying in Costa Teguise since 2000 and you will not find a friendlier, cleaner place to holiday. It may not be for the 20 somethings of this world but as we are heading towards 40 and with an 11 year old we were more than happy with the resort. Lots of lovely places to eat. The beach is spotless and is ideal for those who enjoy watersports. There is something for everyone and can't wait to get back there.

There is nmerous graffiti around and the place just generally looks untidy, the journey from the airport had me thinking we were in a war zone, not picturesque at all.Other than going to an english pub to watch footie (and i'm not a footie fan) or eating in one of the dozes and dozens of restaurants there is little to do. we paid out on trips which were very pricey, these were a complete let down, i beg you to keep your money in your pocket,we had a very long 2 weeks...

The main beach was clean,a small cove we visted was very rocky and the kids hated it.
Lazarote is not for us and we will be spending our holiday next year somewhere with a bit more to do...

we found costa teguise to be a quiet relaxing place more for familys with young children or more older people would not really say for young groups wanting to party all night. plenty of bars and restaraunts. the beaches are verry clean and enjoyed spending time there. would visit this resort again

Everywhere very clean,entertainment was standard Saxos was Good,Main beach clean but sea alittle rough for children,breakwater further round much calmer,Atlantis chippy good if self catering Tex Mex very good further up.
More expensive to buy small fanta for 2 children than 2 pints of lager for us.Very good resort very hot sun easily get sunburn wind deceiving.Last minute travel have good deals rather than hotel.

It was clean,the entertainment is there if you want it,the beach standard was good,and i would definitely visit this resort again.If you want lots of nightlife and pubs till all hours,this isnt the resort for you.But there is entertainment there,but with a more chilled atmosphere.

Nothing special. Couple of shopping centres - very basic with usual holiday tat. Lanzarote is very volcanic not really a pleasant land

Close to everything and even if you do want to travel outside the resort the bus stop is very close to the hotel

We love lanzarote, we have been there once before and couldnt wait to come back. all the locals are lovely and friendly and the beaches are out of this world! we would recommend it to anyone of any age!

costa teguise is lovely for a peaceful get away. the man made beaches are packed but clean. Resort has plenty to offer and trips can be arranged through a excurion shop near the spar.
Buses run regulary and take you almost anywhere for a small cost

The resort was about 20 minutes away from the hotel, the beaches were clean but very rocky, no large beaches for the kids to play on. I cannot comment on entertainment in the resort as we never sampled any.

I dont think I would go back to this resort but would try a different one on the island.

Costa teguise is made up of several coves and the water is safe to swim in this resort is excellent if you like windsurfing. There are sll types of restaurants and you can get spanish food english chineese indian and mexican all tastes are catered for. I would not recomend this resort if you want a lot of nightclubs it is really a family orientainted place as well as couples and older people

i would recomend costa tegise to anyon. it is suca a clean place and a relaxing resort. the beach was great and clean. buses were really cheap if you would want to explore. the bars and restraunts were lovley. i would go to lanzarote again.

Costa tegise is not recomended if you want a livley holiday. It is great for families and copules.

good base for visiting all round the island.not much in the way of entertainment at night.but relaxing atmosphere.

Costa Teguise is a beautifull resort it's very clean and nice and relaxing. The beaches are lovley and there is no rubish on them.

There is a good handfull of shoops there, pleanty of bars, and restraunts. There is a lovley walk allong the sea frount and lots of things to see.

Our favrout pup was the lovley ladies as there was a fantastic show on there.

The resort was great four copouls and famillies. It was very familly orientated and not to bussy and wild. I had a fabulous relaxing holiday and would visit the resort and the complex again.

Brillaint! Plenty to do and see, Quieter than near-by resorts but this is what we wanted ,No litter saw local workers cleaning the streets daily .Varied restaurants were staff offered menus but did not hassle you if you did not want to eat there, Varied entertainment to suit all tastes from clubs to bar singers and entertainers, A warm welcome from all. But especially from the pubs and restaurants beside the hotel. We would definately visit this area again ,

The beach was rocky and I never saw anyone 'using' it as such, just the odd walker. If you like beaches you need to follow the coastal path into the resort, and keep going until you are on the other side of the resort centre. There you will find two fair beaches with sunbeds and umbrellas to hire. There is little to see or do near the Hotel, but the resort itself has a few more bars and shops to see. Nothing exciting, fairly limited but OK

Best place to stay at in Lanzarote seemed like Puerto Del Carman, Costa Teguise is too quiet for families, we have two children aged 13 & 15 they got bored

the resort had plenty to do and on a night there was plenty of different bars to go too one was the splash bar this had some good entertainment on each night and another called the lighthouse i would go back to this resort again but would not stay at these appartment

Its a bit like blackpool in the sun but was clean and well maintained.
Watch out for the DS game scam nearly got caught.
Beaches were great. The long one (playa de las cucharas) had fantastic waves and the small one by the the Hotel Teguise (playa del jabillo) is great for snorkelling and younger children.

The apartments were very central and close to everything, beach, bars, restaurants, shops.

Costa Teguise is more laid back and good place for just chilling, it is not party central by any stretch of the imagination, lots of bars with terraces where you can sit with your cocktail and watch the world go by.

The beach main beach was pretty good, plenty of space, well kept, clean and there was also lifeguards patrolling the beach which was reassuring. The water was very clean and warm once you got over the initial shock of going in!

I would recommend both the resort and the apartments to my friends and family.

Its a very quiet place, sometimes only the odd car going past and hardly any people on the way back to the appartments! There are some lovely bars and resteraunts plus alot of british or themed bars if you like that sort of thing. Plus there is always some sort of entertaiment going on pretty much every night, mainly disco's, karaoke or tribute acts. The beach was very clean and beatiful. The resort of costa teguse is very windy and most mornings is cloudy but not cold. But it always brightens up by around midday. I wouldn't recomend it to people who want to just laze around on the beach or by the pool all day, but we didnt. We went on alot of trips and saw all of the island. I would most definately visit this resort again!

If you want a good night out when the hotel bar closes go to legends it only down the road and they have entertainment and when that finishs they have a family disco and happy hour.

Main resort area very clean.

Lots to do for kids and adults, play pool, bowling, amusements, trampolines, disco etc.

Beach clean but some areas very stoney to get in the sea and a bit windy, all year (so locals say). Good if you in to windsurfing or kite surfing.

Costa teguise is fantastic for familles with the best beaches i have ever seen. The bars and restaurants are very children freindly.You dont relise how hot it is with the breeze so you need plenty of high factor suncream

Too quiet at the beginning of June , lotsof pubs and restaurants but all empty.

Costa Teguise is a pleasant purpose-built resort- there are no hills so its good for people with mobility problems, or for pushing buggies.

However be warned there is little night-life, so if you are a party animal stay in Puerto del Carmen.

Night-life in Costa Teguise consists of eating out in one of the many international style restaurants which include Tex-Mex, Indian, chinese, Pizza/pasta outlets, but it is easy to get good fish and meat dishes too. Its surprising that they all manage to stay in business because they were alsways half empty- but that might be because we went in May not August.

There are also cheap looking English Sports bars at the back of the hotel serving the typical all day English breakfast, burgers and chips while you can watch whatever football match happens to be on, or you favourite soap. Again, fine if you like that sort of thing, but it did feel like little England. We prefer to bit more local culture.

The main beach in the resort is wide, golden sand with lots of sun beds/parasols which cost 4 Euro each, and is located directly at the back of the hotel. About a 5 minute walk along the prom. in the other direction is Jabillio beach, at the back of the Teguise playa hotel, which is set in little coves- great for families with little children, and apparently good for snorkelling too. Do get out and explore the island.

We did not book any excursions, but hired a car for a couple of days in resort. There are plenty of car hire companies out there. In the end we booked through reception with one of the Spanish companies and got a new Corsa with Air Con. for £20 per day including full insurance. Petrol cost us about £8 to do most of the island.

Our favourites were the Timanfaya National Park- the Camel rides over the volcanoes were great fun. Also visit the Cesar Manrique foundation just outside the resort- The Jameos del Agua and the Mirador del Rio- all Manrique creations- stunning architecture- amazing what you can do with some volcanic bubbles!!

Overall a fabulous holiday on a great little island.

Costa Teguise is a great place to go and chill out. It has plenty of places to eat and drink, there is also pleanty of watersports to keep you occupied. It's close to Puerto Del Carmen if you fancy a really lively night out.

Costa Teguise is situated about a 20 minute bus ride from the airport. It is quite a quite resort but there is also a busy area where lots af action happens (I believe). There is lots to do: The Water Park, A Golf Course, Submarine journey, Aqua diving, snorkelling, good clean beaches there is also loads of interesting places to see and visit and for the more energetic hill walking or Volcano walking.

Resort very small and well spread out. You can cover the centre in an hour. Very clean compared to Puerto del Carmen although there is much more to see and do there.
A visit to Teguise market is a must for shoppers and bargains, easily reached by service bus outside the hotel.

The resort is set over quite a distance, the primary reason I chose this resort was because I had a 15 year old daughter and wanted somewhere safe for her. I had no qualms in letting her visit the shopping centre opposite the hotel and letting her walk over to the beach.......they actually stop at pedestrian crossings for you and traffic is not an issue,which I have found to be an issue in other foreign holidays. All in all it is a very family orientated resort. All the locals seem to go out of their way to talk to the children and nothing is too much trouble for them. I was so impressed that i am already looking to go back In september.

the resort was lovely and clean....we stayed at los zocus last time and its only 5 mins down the road but years away in keeping it clean and tidy.
Rather go out in the evenings than stay in hotel but other said entertaiment was good.

Small and compact, quite a few small bars but little entertainment. There seems to be always a wind blowing which can feel quite cool on an evening but very pleasant during a hot sunny day.

the resort is spotless,i found that everything was neat and tidy.all the places we visited were all spotless.we would visit this resort again.

As it's not a historic town it lacks in character but there is plenty to do and lots of choice in eating places.

We hired a car from one of the many car hire places in Costa Teguise for a few days - really good value. Lots of good things to see on the island especially the wine growing area, amazing cactus garden and volcanic area. We enjoyed diving and wind surfing with the well run German run Dive and Surf places in Costa Teguise.

Resort was very clean not much to do in the Beach very clean . take a jkt or something to wear at night can get quite cold & very windy, plenty of nice pubs to go to on a night.It is really very low key to unwind and do nothing .

Resort was not too busy during our stay. The beaches were very clean. Did not look for entertainment venues but enjoyed the variety of restaurants. Local car hire was ve ry reasonable. There was a parade one evening. The only negative was that it was advertised to start at 6pm but did not get going until after 7pm - the evening was cool and windy. A great resort for us.

Costa Teguise is a good resort. There are plenty of shops spread over quite a big area. We found it nice and clean. The beach we used was nice and sandy and is used by windsurfers and is safe for children to paddle in the sea and this beach has a lifeguard.

Lots of bars and restaurants all around the beaches.

Nice local market on Friday nights and Wednesday Mornings selling local crafts.

Good bus service to Puerto del Carmenif you still need more shops, but they are very similar, but it makes a change. The bus also stops at Arrecife but we din't go there

Been to Costa Teguise twice now. It's a great resort if you are looking for "Blackpool abroad". I wouldn't go there if you are looking for Spanish culture etc. It's great for those of you wanting a short break with nice beaches and a number of bars, restaurants and shops to choose from. The beaches are georgeous and there is plenty to keep you occupied for a week. It's very flat so easy to get around. I would definately recomend it to families and couples looking for a nice break.

Vist the Scots & Wry Scottish pub exellent entertainment and good home cooked food.

It is all kept very clean, people cleaning up all the time and very little litter. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. We liked a bar called Hook and we often ended up in the Scots & Wry for the last couple of hours because they have entertainment on and you are made very welcome by the hosts who are lovely people. I can also recommend a nearby restaurant in the same market square called El Patio. We had 4 meals there and they were all gorgeous and reasonably priced. Fresh fish excellent and my husband said meat dishes were equally were so. We don't go on the beach but enjoyed walking on the sea-front. Beaches looked nice and there are rocky areas if you prefer them.

Costa Teguise itself is very pleasant with some nice eating establishments. Would get board if I was here longer than a week though.

We chose this area as we believed it was a main tourist resort on the island however from our hotel there was very little to do and no where to walk in an evening after dinner. it was a cheap bus ride to del Carmen and would advise people to stay there if they prefer a lively atmosphere or a nice evening stroll

Costa teguise is in a quiet location with friendly people and is an ideal place for one of those holidays were you just want to chill out.

After the short walk to the resort centre.(A free bus is also avail from the hotel) We wrere really pleased to find a clean resort. There are plenty of bars and restuarants, small shops and supermarkets to be had.

Although we were all inclusive we did have a night out in a restuarant called 'Mastil' and the service and food were superb. It can be found just off the beach under the Tahiche Apartments.

The resort itself is divided bt a small stream and there are plenty of walkways across it. Both sides are well laid out and we had many a nice day strolling around.

There is a night market on fridays, and a small artisan markt on thursdays.

This resort is only 20 mins drive from the Airport and is quite easy to find. At virtually every corner you will find a smal shop or cafe.

There are plenty of cash machines, and most shops will take a wide range of cards.

We took a trip to the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura from the resort of Playa Blanca, via a short 30 min ferry crossing. and were amazed to find the difference on prices. A breakfast in Costa Teguise was averaging 3 euros and on Fuerte about 7 euros.

If you go to Lanzarote I would recommed car hire, which is reasonablly priced and take a good look around the whoile island as it has some stunning geology. You will find this an unforgettable holiday destination.

the resort was lovely, the beach clean and well maintained. the restaurants were welcoming basically it is a lovely place to visit. the only one and biggest problem was the cold inside the villa. we have spoken to others who stayed in apartments they said the froze too and sat around the cooker to attempt to keep warm.if we put our cooker on and another electrical appliance the electrics would constantly blow. this is a word of warning, if you visit lanzarotte during jan/ feb, bring a heater with you. it totally ruined our week, we were all glad to come back home to de thaw.

Costa Teguise is a lovely purpose built resort which has a charm of its own.

Perfect for children couples and families, and no sign of larger louts anywhere.

Very clean but a bit souless as it is all new. Beach is good though. Beware it does blow a bit though.

Costa Teguise is a nice resort with plenty of very good restaurants, we particularly liked both the Lani's restaurant. There are play areas, arcades and bungee trampolines to keep the kids happy. We booked a trip through the hotel not through the Rep to the National park (Short South tour), the trip was brilliant and we all loved the camel ride.
We also caught a bus(every twenty minutes from main road) to Puerto del Carmen and a got a boat trip to Puerto Callero which was very pretty. We thought Carmen was a bit like Blackpool but the beach is lovely and the old town where the harbour is has more character.
Costa Teguise is not a resort I would recommend to people with walking difficulties as the kerbs are very high, there are quite a lot of steps also, areas of the pavements where badly cracked with loose paving.
However the resort is clean and the Las Cucharas and Playa Jablillo beaches are very nice. The Atlantic was alot warmer than the pool, but a bit too rough at times.
I would definately recommend this resort but not the apartments.

Costa Tegiuse is a great little resort with lovely clean, flat walkways/promenades and a good selction of bars, shops and restraunts.

Be careful with some shop keepers,they do tend to try and rip you off!! very difficult to get your money back if you unfortunately purchase a faulty item

I have been before and will visit again one day,very relaxing if you hit on the right hotel.

Very clean resort, lots of shops and restaurants (plenty of choice and they look after the children well). Not loads of night life but it is there if you want it. Cucarachas beach is a lovely bay but very windy - lots of wind surfers. Nice walks along promenades.

The resort of Costa Teguise is a very nice family safe quiet area. You would not want to visit if you are after the night life as mainly resturants and not bars.

The beach is very nice you have to head to the left though as the rocks do die down in this area. The waves can be very powerful so just watch young children.

The market on Friday night is worth a visit and it was nice as you did not feel hassled to have to buy anything unlike some resorts abroad.

This being our first time to Tequise (we normally go Tenerife)we went with an open mind we were slightly disappointed with what we saw, tacky bars etc (but who hasn't got them)it is not enough to stop us going back again, it was a quiet time of year so in fairness we feel we could not give an accurate description it being our first time there, but we would like to go back and explore more thoroughly maybe in a later month

Didnt go out and about that much as we were having a relaxing week. Went to peurto del carmen one afternoon in the local bus, it cost €1.70. About 10 mins walk into costa teguise lots of nice wee bars and eating places and the beach looked nice. Aqua park 10 mins walk from hotel. 2 supermarkets, a pizzeria, a chinese and a couple of other eating places just round the corner from hotel.

The resort is clean and well kept. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Serious shoppers would probably need to go else where.

Only went into the resort to get money out of ATM, but we have been to Costa Tguise many times before.

Resort was vey clean, but resort was very quiet.

Plenty of bars and shops,good kiddies play area with trampolines.

Beaches very clean,found one week long evough at this resort.

There are parts of the beach which had alot of volcanic rock,but some parts were great for making sand castles.

Not alot of entertainment could do with a few lively bars but not too many because it would ruin the area of Costa Tequise.

Definitely go to fire mountain its a real experience.

Costa Teguise is great, not too busy, not too quiet, although on this occasion the weather was awful, it is usually very nice and well worth a visit.

Lanzarote is our favourate holiday place...go twice a year.it's got every thing you would want for a lovely holiday..Costa Teguise is a lovely resort..we just keep going back....

The resort could have better entertainment,as after a few nights you have seen most of the bars and they mostly consists of quizes or kareoke, or low key singers who work in the bars in the day as waiting staff.

resort was ok & various retaurants/bars to visit.all staff were friendly & helpfull.restaurants are all good value for money.no timeshare problems.

Resort area was clean but not much in entertainment, a few people were going into the hotel opposit for the entertainment,didnt go to beach as not beach people like to look around not that there was much to look at.If going out for a beer look out for prices in some they were charging 3 euros and in some only 1.50 euros, becareful as some of the prices outside bars only relate to certain times of the day. At the moment I would not think about going back, need a bit more to do near where we stay.

Shopping centre is just over the road. One next door and the beach over the road what more could you ask for there is a range of bars.

There are restaurants around and Costa Teguise has an excellent water park a great market and some really good tour excursions to go on it is a beautiful resort.

Teguise is one of the nicer resorts in Lanzarote.

This is one of those resorts in my view that are ten a penny like most resorts in the Canaries a bit of this and a bit of that, the resort for most parts was clean.

Never went looking for clubs (bit to old now) as for the bars and restaurants. We stayed half board so never used them but they did look full most nights, as for the bars it was a case of what brings them in Singers/Quiz's/Karaoke and Football and more Football and even more Football. Now I like the first three things but the bars with Football seem to be full of your short haired drunk football yobs but everbody to his own.

The beach looked to be man made.

Would I come here again only if I got a good deal and only at new year because of the hotel we stayed in (4* Hotel Coronas Playa)

Costa Tequise is a resort run for English - very little Spanish to be seen - lots of English and Irish pubs

the resort we stayed in was very clean lovely the food was great, the chinese food was also good our 3 children loved it there was a great selection of food for the children. and we would go back again.

Costa Teguise is one of the nicest resorts we've been to. We were there in November, so it was a little out of season, but this gave it a lovely relaxing atmosphere. There seemed more couples than families there, but again, this was out school holiday time.

The beaches looked well kept but were smaller than others we've seen, all in coves. There seemed more resteraunts than bars and entertainment was low key. The resort didn't have any loud gangs of people so wasn't roudy.

The locals were the friendliest of people in any resorts we've visited, even the drivers were very polite.

The one thing I'd check before you go is the location of your hotel as on the bus home, some of the hotels seemed quite out of the way. (We stayed at Puerto Tahiche Hotel, which was centrally located)

Would definitely recommend Costa Tequise to anyone.

Beach quite rocky in parts and uncomfortable to walk on. Hunt out the bay with the nice area for the kids to play on.

Lots of shops, bars and restaurants. Most shops sell same old stuff and the electronic shops are a con, don't go there.

Best place to shop is Teguise Market on the Sunday, although there are now lots of Africans there with their trinkets! Very multicultural with good bargains to haggle for especially the traditional Canarian costumes and table linen.

Worth hiring a car to travel around but 3 days and you can see most of the island. Very little traffic about and roads full of pot holes, bit like back here in England!

If you want to see real Canarian life then need to get out into the villages. Found Playa Blanca very commercial and predominately German and Dutch holiday makers, didn't do Peurto del Carmen as prefer quieter resorts.

Lanzarote is the place for a laid back holiday.

Costa Teguise was very nice. Not too busy and spotless. Plent of public transport (very cheap) Would go again.

Costa Teguise has very clean beaches, be careful of the huge waves on the big beach at back of hotel, the best beach is the little bay right infront of hotel, no waves, great for children, very safe. The best thing there is snorkeling, loads of fasinating fish, we even saw an angel shark. Loads of restaurants on your doorstep, great food at the (Scots and Rye and the Jug and Platter). Nightlife for families is ok, but to be honest there was enough entertainment at the galleon we stayed there most nights.

Although we didn't really spend much time in resort what we saw was good. The beach at Las Corachas was bigger than the Bastian beach although the latter was closer.

There's not much 'sight seeing' to do. Although there are a few shops and bars in Costa Teguise centre.

Not sure about the nightlife as we always stayed on the complex but I did hear it is pretty quiet and closes early.

Resort is a great place to kick back and relax anytime of the year. We have been several times now and the locals are so friendly, they make you feel like your part of the community.

There are so many fantastic pubs and restaurants I could write a book, but I havent got the time.So I will name our favorites.

The Dolphin Inn: Great food especially Curry night(Tuesday)and the breakfast. there are plenty of screens for the football and a quiz most nights with your host Lisa.

Hennesys:great Irish bar the food is outa this world and the host is always on hand overseeing that you are happy. The Irish coffee made with jamesons is divine.

The Jug and Platter: Great food and quizzes.

The Irish Bailey: Great atmoshpere and fodd is brilliant also it is in between the Dolphin and Hennesys so a pub crawl is recommended.

The Cutty Sark:food is outa this world, but Sunday roast is best. The Harp: in the main centre great place and food especially the rack of Lamb. They also have 3 playstations running to keep the kiddies happy. Live footy and regular live horse racing shown with SIS(what ever that is)and finnaly cos my fingers are hurting The Snug Irish bar: In the centre is compact but definitely punches above its weight for atmosphere and live entertainment.

The resort was very clean, as was the beach, our only problem was the food, when on holiday we do like to sample some authentic cuisine which proved a little difficult, we did have paella & canarnian potatoes with mojo which were delicious. All the restaurants serves pizza, burgers & pasta as the main food. Indian & chinese in abundance and all the food we had was really nice (even if not very authentic). We would definatey go back to Lanzarote again most likely to Playa Blanca a smaller resort. One must do trip is to the Texas Rancho Park really good morning trip.

We loved Teguise plenty of variety from large english bars to your small Tapas bar [which we love].easy to walk around plenty of little squares to discover.Great promenade to try and walk off all those calories!!!!

Costa teguise is a really pleasant resort to stay very clean and very friendly we all loved it

Friendly, and welcoming resort, lovely seaside reosrt with a good variety of shops,restaurants & bars, even bowling and mini golf close by

Costa Teguise itself is fabulous! Lot's of shops, bars and restaurants right on your doorstep and so much choice!
We ate out every night at different places, the best being the Tex Mex restaurant called Lani's Cantina as the food was delicious.

Beaches are lovely although sunbeds are expensive at 4 euros each!

Perfume is very cheap and in abundance but it's still good to haggle!

Would love to go back to lanzarote just not at that particular hotel!

Very little in the way of "good" entertainment. Oh to see some Spanish culture...the Brits have ruined the place. The resort is clean but limited. Beach ok views fine..but oh dear not my cup of tea at all. If you like living amongst volcanic rocks then fine, but uninteresting, little culture, fine if all you want is sunshine

Costa Teguise has alot of run down and boarded up shops near the beach area.

Parts of resort showed it's age and there were far to many "British bulldog" pubs and even two fish and chip shops !

Nice resturants can be found away from the neon lighted noisy bars and the food in all that we found was really amazing.

Basically if you avoid the central area and look either side there are same nice less commercial quiet areas .

Having been to Costa Teguise several times before we were not put off by our stay at the Lanzarote Bay. We love it and will definately be going back.

Overall a fab hol!!! Would reccommend!

Good for 4 days, then gets boring. Worse if weather is not good. Enough to send you to drink.

As a family we enjoyed this resort, lots of different beaches for children from golden sands to rock pools kept them amused. Enough restaurants to eat in and never had a bad meal once.

Could not find fault with this resort. It was clean and plenty of entertainment all around for all age groups. Eating out was lovely, plenty of choice and really made to feel welcome. I would certainly recommend this resort especially for families.

If you want amusement arcades to send your young children whilst you visit wall to wall “British” and “Irish” bars and clubs with loud music then Costa Teguise may suit you.

Good selection of supermarkets and perfume shops.

Not for the tourist looking for a peaceful resort.
We prefer Playa Blanca despite its growing size.

The resort was excellent, a lot busier than I expected for October. Plenty of bars & restaurants at very reasonable prices.

The 2 beaches were literally yards away from our apts. My 6 year old twins particularly enjoyed the horseshoe shaped bay which was excellent for snorkelling (sea extremely clear). The beach also has lots of rock pools which the children enjoyed (finding crabs, shrimps,etc).

We ate out every night & the food was fantastic. Would recommend the La Provence near to the Spar supermarket (lovely steaks & chicken wraps).

Went on a couple of trips as the weather wasnt too great. I would recommend the Rancho Texas Park & Southern Sights trip (Volcanoes), very enjoyable for the kids as the trip also includes a camel ride.

I would definately visit this resort again, however I would not return in October. Not sure whether we were unlucky with the weather - rained 6 days out of 7 which did restrict us, particularly with the kids.

Overall though Costa Teguise was a great resort.

The beach was fantastic for our daughter who was 19m. The sea was quite warm and shallow. There were lots of ciggie butts on the sand but the sunbed man and a cleaner went around at some point in the day to litter pick so on the whole the beach was tidy.

The rest of the resort was clean. There are loads of restaurants and snack places in close proximity to the beach. Most seem to be owned by brits so you can get loads of english stuff.

We didn't really sample the entertainment too much as daughter wanted to go bed at 9ish! However we did go to captian hooks in a small square(beware the cocktails!). We ate at la ola down on the beach front and had the paella which was yummy and massive!

Only reason I wouldn't go to this resort again is that it is quite small so feel like we've done it now!

Don't take kids as there is nothing for them.

I loved the resort, Coata Teguise is gorgeous, it is not too quite , there are the loud pubs and clubs but they arent in every hole in the hedge.

There is quite abit to do and see - not much to do in the way of clothes shopping(but there are 2 designer shops-selling lascoste and desiel and tommy hilfiger)they are mainly souvenier and electric shops.

The beach was lovely and the water was clear/clean and warm.. If you brough sea jellies(the rubber shoes) as there are some areas of the beach with black volcanic rock.

There was a good choice of bars and restaurants,the Portobello being a particular favourite.

The beaches were all lovely although when the wind got up it was like being in a sandstorm,but this didn't happen very often and as it was SOooo hot the wind was a relief.

The water park was a waste of money,you had to be 120cms to ride most of the slides and the lifeguards didn't budge an inch so if your child is only 119cms I would advise you to save your money as there were a few very upaet children there on the day we went who couldn't ride any of the better slides.

The market in the square on a Friday night was good with lots of cheap bits and pieces.

This was our first visit to Lanzarote and unfortunately it will also be our last.

We think the only thing we enjoyed was the visit to the Timanfaya National Park and seeing the volcano there. That is a trip worth seeing if you do go to Lanzarote.

Other than that, well all we can say is that Lanzarote, whilst having areas of outstanding national beauty and having areas of particular scientific interest, has very little else that is enticing or attractive.

I guess, the same as above applies, we couldn't recommend a visit to the island, in all honesty, but, hey, it must have something going for it, after all it does have a steady tourism industry; can't please all of the people and all that.

Anyway, if you do decide to visit the island, we sincerely hope you enjoy your holiday very much.

The resort was nice i did find it to quite with not much going on i think this resort is ideal for for couples wanting a quiet relaxing holiday i would go back to lanzarote not sure if it would be this resort though

The main resort was very clean and plenty to do loads of pubs and restaurants, The beach was ok but it wasn't all sand some was like gravel, but that was not a problem for us as we don't like the beach and much prefer to stay at the pool.

Just across the road from our apartments was a nice selection of bars, restaurants, shops and an arcade with gaming machines, video games, pool table etc. We spent a few enjoyable evenings at 'The Lighthouse', We also spent an evening at the bar with the drag act (can't remember it's name) which was a hlarious evening out, it started with comedy bingo before the well rehearsed main show. Best restaurant we found was 'El Patio', mostly Italian, but with excellent fish, steaks and 'specials'. The lasagne was probably the best I have ever had. There were several chinese restaurants, as well as Tex-Mex, Indian , a popular kebab place, - we even spotted a fish and chip shop!

There were plenty of the usual souvenir shops, mostly selling all the same thing, there were also acouple of perfumeries in the resort. If you want to book excursions, the place called Zafiros, just across the road from Lanis restaurant was 10 euros cheaper per excursion than the place just up the road from the apartments. We only did the island tour on this visit, an interesting day out with an excellent guide to explain the relevant details of each place we visited.

The beach was about 4-5 hundred metres from our apartments, parts of it though would not have been suitable for chldren or anyone unsteady on their feet as you would have to scramble over volcanic rock to get to the sand. We are not really beach people, but had to go and have a look. The resort is clean and the flower/palm beds are well tended.

Would we return to Costa Teguise and Mansion Nazaret? Most definately and for longer that a week next time!!

the resort of costa teguise is great, i would definatly visit again the beaches are good bit busy but plenty of room, there are lots of restaurants and bars too choose from day an night and theres also a little shopping mall on the beach front. great all round resort!

The resort was lovely with lots of shops and bars, but was a little dissappointing as there wasnt alot of entertainment for the children, apparently because it was end of season because the children were back in school..
We would definatly return back here, but in the summer months..

Definately. There is plenty to do there and its not rowdy at all, there is a night club not to far away though if you like rowdy.The beach was a little bit rough but still was very nice.

The resort is very quaint, probably alot smaller and quieter than the places i'v been before but it is very clean and picturesque. There is a market on a thursday which is not to be missed.

Teguisol location in our opinion was perfect. It was an 8 minute walk from appartment to nearest beach which was sandy and uncommercialised and a beach cove perfect for snokelling and paddling/swimming. Along the prom were further busier beachers but they were all clean with rocks and just perfect. We loved them all.

Bars shops and restaurants were about 8-20 minute walk away or as far as you wanted to walk around the bay. It is just perfect in every way.

Trips we did were jeep safari and fire mountain. Also sunday market and bus ride to puerto carmen. I would thoroughly recommend these trips and the camel ride is a must. the volcancos are breathtaking.

We would definitely visit costa teguise again and lanzarote again because the scenery is breathtaking as is the history.

As a rule we dont visit same place twice and the wind got on our nerves abit as the sand whipped you when it was really windy but all of a sudden it disappeared mid holiday and that was great! Just watch out and use a really high factor as lots of red people about!

So have a really lovely holiday. We all did and we are struggling to get back into the swing of things.

This was the second time we have been to this resort, there are some really nice resturants and some lovely shops.
We visited the aqua park which was great, well worth the money whatever your age!
The bus services were reliable, cheap and run every 20 minutes, we visited the market in Tequise ( get there early as it gets very busy) and Porta del Carmen.
The beach is nice but gets busy in peak season.

we stayed in costa teguise before, loved it bit quiet where the ficus is but short walk down to punta jabilio end where there is loads of night life, beach is lovely gets very busy though.

Costa teguise is a friendly family resort, beach was clean and lovley clear waters, even though it does get windy it sometimes can get cold, take a cardigan with you. would recommend it for familys with young children as well as older children. When you go to Costa teguise make sure you go to the Aqua Park great day lots of water slides etc.

Costa Teguise itself we thought was very pleasant.Not in your face but enough to keep you entertained.

We went to the beach a couple of days but with it been quite windy we were constantly covered in sand so tended to stay round the pool most of the day,it is a lovely night stroll tho.

Would we visit the Costa Teguise again..Yes definatley and would also visit the same complex.

I would definitely recommend the zoo's bird show.The birds that swoop above your head are breath taking.

This was our second stay in this resort, it`s changed quite a lot in seven years. It`s very clean and calm, no drunken Brits anywhere. The local transport is fantastic, you can get a bus from virtually anywhere. There`s not a great deal of entertainment, but if you look hard enough you`ll find it. The beaches are ok, a little bit rocky underfoot but generally quite clean

As me and my girlfriend are both twenty something we found the resort as a whole quite quiet not much of a night life scene. The bars and pubs only stay open til 12 and to be honest we got quite bored towards the end of the week but would be a great family holiday not too noisey, did not see any drunk people causing trouble would highly recommend lani's tex mex just behind the apartment and his other restaraunt on the seafront!

The beach was nice the only thing that put me off this beach was that there were fag ends everywhere, the wind can also make the main beach quite hardwork when your in the water as the waves can be quite strong so we ended up using a little beach just round the corner like a little cove where there were rock placed to break up the waves.

Costa Tequise (also known as Costa too Breezy, by the Reps) was clean, very well situated and within walking distance of all amenities. There were many bus stops with frequent services to all other resorts (Arrecife, Puerto Del Carmen etc etc). We had a car for the week, but this is not necessary, we would have managed just as well without it. If you do intend to hire a car though, do so when out there as it was virtually half the price we paid in the uk. (average cost 14 euros a day!).
We spent two days at beaches which were excellent, one in costa tequise and one in Puerto Del Carmen, both couldn't have been more diffrent. Puerto Del Carmen beach was very hot especially the sand !! with clear, calm ,warm water and fish swimming about your feet. Tequise beach was very windy, (far more comfortable temperature), you had to wade through a thick layer of seaweed before the water cleared, which was the only draw back, but very nice beach and at least the children could play on the sand unlike Puerto del Carmen, due to the heat.

Would not think twice about staying at Costa Tequise again and although it is breezy, we wouldn't have stood the teperatures without it, therefore one word of warning, mind the sun, it gets extremely hot !!.

Beach was great,across the road from the hotel. Very clean. My kids loved the waves which were quite rough, but there were safer parts of the beach for little one. It didn't have pedaloes, bananas etc. The resort is very quiet, not many shops, but it saved me lots of money. Lots of nice restaurants and a few bars, again just across the road, or along the prom. The resort is quite spread out, so is worth a bit of a walk around to find new eateries. Most entertainment appeared to be within hotel complexes.

The resort is very clean. Cleaners were everywhere all day. No entertainment for the older kids they were bored in the night, but loved the day time.

The beach was lovely. Very clean. If entertainment had been there it would have been very nice.

We ate out every evening and found each restaurant we used to be good value and excellent food however honourable mention must go to the Slow Boat Chinese (near the last minute travel shop) for brilliant food, good value and terrific staff. Dishonourable mention to the Harp Irish bar. Must try harder.

The island grand tour was very good however the forced bonhomie of our guide (Ian??) grated with me. That said by the end of the day we had seen the island and made friends a number of families – definatly recommended.
He highlight for me was the Catlanza catamaran cruise – expensive at €135 for one adult & two children but worth it for the cruise, the kids piloting the boat, the swim in the ocean, the jet ski ride – lunch and plenty of beers included and a very friendly & professional crew.

If you get bored by lying in the sun, drinking in the English/Irish bar, Karaoke then there’s not much else in Costa Teguise

Overall I would recommend Costa Teguise and The Barcelo La Galea for families looking for a quite relaxing time. I would go again

Costa Teguise was wicked. Im not the sort of person who is mad about going to the beach but the beaches in Costa Teguise are gorgeous, white sand and clear blue sea. I can really coment on the restaurants cos we never really ate out but we had a spag bol from 1 place and it was really nice. But i did find that most of the restaurants mainly served pasta dishes. Word of warning stay away from the blokes at the electrical shops believe me they aint worth your time. In general its a really nice resort and would definatly go back 10/10

The first thing we noticed is the cleanliness of the area, there was hardly any litter around and there was always people walking around the resort tidying it up. Entertainment was what you'd expect, lots of karaoke and english pubs, there's a drag show called 'lively ladies' which was brilliant. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from but not much choice between menus. The best restaurants we found were 'Mastil' and 'Portofino' where the food and staff were excellent.

For decent entertainment we had to go to the Sands Hotel complex, when our children were well enough to go out.

Beach was lovely and clean, we went a few times to avoid the dirty pools on the Tequisol complex

No we would never go back again.

Costa teguise a great place to stay plenty of lovely clean beaches.plenty of great places to eat out i would recommend the coffee and cream bistro which is situated by the police station in a little square off the main road were they do 2 for 1 on all main courses very reasonable at 12.95 EUROS for surf and turf and grilled chicken.Iwould also recommend breakfast at caroles cafe which we had on several occasions.Also a visit to the friday market in the spanish square which is a smaller version of the sunday market at teguise.Iwould also recommend the Glass house for a nice carvery dinner which we had on two seperate occassions.Quiz night at the dolphin inn situated on the sea front is a must and the entertainment at the sunburnt arms also to be found on the sea front is different every night of the week so something for everyone from pop to rock and country n western.Last minute travel trip to fire mountain(volcan grill) was a must and the sight there was fantastic and the english speaking guide from the company certainly knew his stuff.All in all i would certainly recommend costa teguise for a holiday although be careful of the breeze as through the day it easily can burn you as you dont realise how hot it is but at night gets a little chilly especially on the sea front.

Costa Teguise is lovely

I went to Lanzarote with my mum, dad and sister.
I really enjoyed the holiday,everything about it was brilliant. I made friends easily, and so did my 8 year old sister.

The reception staff were horrible they had no time for teenages, unless you were an adult they didnt want to know.
However the first choice staff and Animation team were out if this world. The was entertainment every part of the day for adults and children.

My 8 year old sister loved the kids club run by first choice the staff were friendly ad she went on so many trips around the island.

The food was lovely. There was every kind of food that you could name. There was everything form a chinese to a sunday dinner.

The rooms were ok for what you used them for. We only used them for sleeping and getting ready. They were cleaned often and there was a nice balcony.

All in all i would go to this holiday every year i loved everyhhing about it and I'm sure you will to!!!

resort is lovely and clean. very queit and friendly locals. not very many time share touts but you will get hassle from some staff in electrical stores.

weather always good, hot but not tiring because of the constant breeze. take a jumper for nights as it can get cool.

A Fab resort with things to suit both young and old. lots of nice restaurants our fave being 'la Perdola' - our least fave being 'Lanis tex Mex' some good bars on the promenade - 'Splash' seemed to be the most popular, some excellent Karoake turns there while we were there there was a guy singing his name was 'Pete' and he was from Doncaster he has an amazing voice. Nice clean safe beaches - slight breeze which makes the heat bearable.
We would visit this resort again but would not stay at Villa Reina.
