| said: My wife and I stayed at the Carvoeiro Sol Hotel the 1st week in March. This is an excellent hotel, prime site, next to the beach. The towels are changed every day and there are plenty of them. Bathroom toiletries are supplied free. Tea/coffee making facilities in room. Free airconditioning and a 15 euro fee refundable for the safe. The room was BIG with plenty of storage space. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I will be back.

| said: This is a very pleasant hotel in a great location next to the beach.
The Square it overlooks is always busy with lots of entertainment for the kids.
We were on a bed & breakfast deal and after a few days the food was very repetetive.
Parking is a big problem at this hotel as it is in the centre of the town. Our Hire car was almost towed away as I had parked in a residents place without realising.

| said: This was our third visit to Portugal and the most Portuguese of the three resorts previously visited.
Hotel Carvoeiro Sol was well situated on the level, ideal for beach, shops and restaurants. Room was clean. We had seaview but balcony was small. The room overlooked the busy little square where there was always plenty of activity day and night.
Breakfast was fairly good, although would benefit from a little more fresh fruit. We never used the pool area, preferring the beach.
Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.

| said: Did not book a package and hotel only cost £160 for a double room for 2 people bed and breakfast for one week. Did not pay for seaview but we were pleasantly surprised to be given one on our arrival. Rooms nice with airconditioning/heating, tea & coffee making facilities and small balcony overlooking the square. Breakfast the usual, both cooked and continental. Pool area small and overlooked by apartments but still pleasant, sunbeds with foam mattress comfortable, pool heated. Best things about the hotel were happy hour between 6-7pm and the location, brilliant no big hills when walking home after a night out! Staff very friendly and helpful and being a smaller hotel the service was much more personal. Would go again.
