The hotel is very clean and in a good position. It`s in the middle of things but quiet enough to get a good nights sleep.
The breakfast was good, no complaints there. We went b&b but other people we spoke to were not impressed with the food served for half board.
The pool is very good and cleaned daily. The bar is open 24 hours but there wasn`t crowds of people in at any time.
it is a good place to stay and I will definately go back.

Hotel Sredets in Bulgaria, just had a re vamp and was very clean, staff quite friendly and towels changed daily.
Rooms basic but clean only problem no kettle in rooms!Food not very good in hotel but resort made up for this, cheap enough to eat out everyday, booked same hotel for 2005 so cant be that bad!

Hotel Sredets has recently gone from a two star hotel to a three star hotel.We were told this was due to recent renovations and the construction of a swimming pool.The quality of food was generally ok and much better than the general standard around the resort.The hotel is on the outskirts of the resort away from all the noise of the centre,which is about a twenty minute walk.The beach is quite near,taking only ten minutes to get to.The hotel staff were the same as the majority of Bulgarian people seem to us in the way their attitude seems rude and abrupt.But this is just their way.The worst part of the hotel is the pool side entertaiment.It consisted of the bar staff and a very loud stereo.They would play only the songs they liked over and over again from early morning to about eight at night.Other than that,the hotel is good value for money and has a very nice large swimming pool.
