| said: We stayed at the Harbour Studios in June 2008 booked with Freelance Holidays. The price was very reasonable and you can get as much or as little help as you want from Freelance.
The studios are new and fairly compact but very clean and well equipped. There was a tv/satellite, hairdrier, toaster and kettle. The bathroom had the usual hand held shower with no curtain and a recess in the floor.
We had a small balcony at the back and a larger veranda at the front with a sea view. There is also a communal veranda with shady area, sunbeds and chairs/tables. Inside the studios were two thick files providing lots of info about the local area, places to visit, maps, recommended tavernas, important telephone nos. etc. There is also a book swap.
The air-con is provided at €30 per week. If you require this you just call at the owner's mini-market and she will come and give you the remote.
Freelance gave us foolproof directions and diagrams for our journey from the airport as we had booked our own car hire rather than a transfer. The Harbour Studios are in an ideal location overlooking the water, you can watch the ferries coming in. There is very little passing traffic and the nearest supermarket and bar are literally 30 yards. The main street is about 1 minute walk and there is a taverna below and in front of the premises.
We enjoyed our stay very much.
