| said: We booked in june to go to ozlem apartments for two weeks on the 5/9/2008 we booked if for a 21st birthday present for our twin daughters and familys, when we arrived we knew that there was some problem as all the staff just looked at us as to say what are you lot doing hear!
I gave this turkish manager our papers and he came back to us and told us that we was not staying there i showed him on the papers that our resavation said ozlem hotel but he just said that they had over booked, We was all very upset and tired we also had a two year old grand daughter with us and she was past herself.
He said that he would sort it out for us, we had a drink and he came back and told us that we was now staying at Darsun Apartments I said what if we dont like them he just put his shoulders up as to say tuff, I would never book for Ozlem Apartments again.

| said: We had a fantastic week staying at these apartments in August. The rooms were spotless and the cleaner very friendly even though she didn't speak English.
Although the place was self catering we ate at the restaurant there on quite a few times for breakfast and evening meals and the food was always lovely and very reasonably priced.
These apartments are a small walk from all the action in the centre, but this made for a peaceful stay which suited us. The staff were very helpful and polite, always ready to have a laugh with you.
We went to the Turkish night and the food was delicious, it was nice to try some Turkish food and see the belly dancers and folk dancers. There was also some break dancers who were very entertaining too. We also enjoyed the quiz which was on a Sunday evening.
We would definately come back to these apartments and recommend them to anyone who wants a nice fun and relaxing break.

| said: We deliberately chose Ozlem 1, as it is a small complex of 22 appartments, and therefore quiet and very friendly. It has all the facilities of a larger complex ie, pool, sun terrace, bar, restaurant etc and is exteremely clean. The staff were always on hand and willing to help. We understand that the complex had previously been very run down and since the new owners took over, they have completely renovated and improved the place. Continual minor changes planned for the future can only add the cherry to the cake!

| said: Myself and my partner went to the Ozlem apartments in June and It was the holiday from hell when it came to our accommodation, from the moment we arrived it was a heat wave and we were given a room in the attic where you could hardly breath. We later found out that these rooms was where the staff slept. There was NO balcony that we were told we would have only a balcony door that was jammed and a wall that you could not see over. We also had a leek in our bathroom that we had to keep putting towels on to soak up all the water which we never found out where it was coming from, you could just smell it. We asked the English owners on several occasions if they could please move us as our air conditioning was also broken they fobbed us of from one family member to the next but instead of moving us they finally got an electrician out to fix the air conditioning and all the wires were left hanging and unsafe to use which made the heat unbearable. Eventually after one full week we got moved to a lower and better room after many complaints to the owners. I would not recommend these apartments for my dog to use as kennels. We are both in our early forty's and enjoyed our fun time in Icmeler town, We ate in some lovely restaurants’ and had a lot of fun with most of the Turks but the thought each day & night of returning to these apartments wrecked our holiday. The young Turkish lads that worked at these apartments were very friendly but were strongly made to pester us and others to eat & drink at these apartments. Go to different apartments and you should have a great time in Icmeler, the boat trips are great and things are reasonably cheap.

| said: We stayed at the Ozlem 1 Apartments form 2nd to 16th June. The place has been recently taken over by an English couple, Frank and Cherry, who are very helpful and friendly with all their guests. Their Turkish manager Peter will do his best to arrange anything you may need, including car hire etc. delivered to the door. These one bedroom apartments are clean and tidy and very well equipped compared to others we have stayed in. Nice pool area with sunbeds and pool bar with great staff. They are situated on the edge of Icmeler only 5 minutes walk from the Wednesday market, and upper storey rooms have a nice view over the town and surrounding mountains. Although they are in a quiet and pretty residential area they are only a 15 minute stroll from the resort centre and beach, and very close to a selection of local bars and restaurants. The new owners used to run a restaurant in town before taking over here and now serve food at the Ozlem instead. Anything from bar snacks to full meals are available...and the food we had was very nice. Tuesdays they have a special Turkish night with folk group, belly dancer and more...plus lots of Turkish food and all for a tenner each. The dolmus stops for Marmaris and Turunc are 5 minutes away with single fares of 1.75YTL and 4YTL respectively.
The Ozlem 1 is offered by several smaller operaters and we booked through Apollo travel, but you can book direct if you wish. The email they gave me was cherrybartlett2000@yahoo.co.uk but they are currently working on their own website, so maybe by the time you read this it will be up and running. There are other Ozlem apartments in Icmeler so be sure that it's Ozlem 1, situated at 26 Namik Kemal Cad.
We would recommend this place to anybody who wants to be in a quiet peaceful place but only a stone's throw from the action.
