| said: Travelled as a family of 4, 2 adults 2 kids. We were not looking to stay in Kissimmee specifically but got a fantastic deal from Direct Holidays to stay there on a room only basis for 2 weeks. The hotel was great and far exceeded our expectations. Newly refurbished, modern, clean, with helpful, friendly staff. Our room was comfortable and clean. Plenty of parking at the hotel and right across the road from Kissimmee Old Town with its bars, places to eat and entertainment. MacDonalds is right next door.
We were self catering and although there is a restaurant in the hotel, we ate out - there is such a huge selection of places to eat.
We hired a car and were only 10-15 minutes away from the Disney theme parks. The hotel has a heated outdoor swimming pool, kids pool and large jacuzzi which are all open until 11pm. Just what you need after a day at the parks !!
Stayed in I-Drive at a Best Western hotel 2 years ago but it wasn't a patch on the Holiday Inn Maingate East. Would definitely stay there again.
