| said: This is the worse hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff are arrogant and aren't helpful at all. The food is disgusting and the prices are high.
We were robbed whilst staying there and the staff didnt even want to ring the police, until we demanded they did.
I've been all over the world and its the worst hotel ever, save yourself the bother and go elsewhere.........Marmaris is lovely though.

| said: 1st time in Turkey, Stayed at mar soliel for two weeks. very clean, but basic.Had a 2 bed apartment paid 140 lira for air con before realising that there was only one unit (in one room)had to go to supermarket to buy a huge fan another 50 lira. Also paid 50 lira for the hire of the safe for 2weeks.
Ate within complex a couple of times and we all thought the food was either rubbish or cold.
On venturing out on our 1st night we encountered a persistant pickpocket (1min away from complex, possibly Romanian) although he fled empty handed he left us all pretty shaken.
the complex itself can be quite noisy at night as some residents spent their holiday at the bar sometimes to 6am. A problem if you want to rise early in the morning. Staff however did try hard to keep things quiet,and except for the odd idiot things improved!All the staff were really helpful and pleasant if your happy their happy!!
the entertainment was next to none only one night out of 14. We stayed to see the show but it was becoming a bit weary as nearly every show in Marmaris is Micheal Jackson,or the belly dancer and then the break dance show all with cap in hand for a tip!good if you enjoy the same show ten times over!
We travelled as a couple with 2 teen girls 15 & 16 years.not much for the girls to do but there was a nice clean pool with an excellent water slide, would have been nice to be able to shower before using these but trapsing from the room was to much hassle! All in all Mar Soliel was well located 10 mins from the main hustle bustle!!!
