| said: We stayed in the Pallas Hotel 3 years ago and though we would give it another try, as one of the better hotel/apartments we have stayed at over the years of going to Laganas.
The Pallas is a bit away from the main strip which made it a bit more peaceful. The only problem with noise it I had to complain, was the peacocks and the odd dog making a racket at night, this didn’t bother me but if you were a light sleeper it could cause you a problem.
Some of the rooms have been made into studio apartments which we had they have a very compact kitchen it was the size of a wardrobe with everything you really need in it, 2 ring cooker, fridge,
Rooms were a good size and very clean.
Wardrobe had lots of hangers with a safety deposit box in it (10 euro per week)
As we went 3rd week of May we did not need air conditioning so don’t know how much that cost.
Shower room/toilet was a good size, shower was the most powerful one I have ever used and there was hot water all day.
The only complaint I had with the hotel was the bed, it was a double bed but very hard and squeaked every time you moved which actually woke us up a few times
We were told that they were getting new beds in so hopefully this will get rid of my only complaint.
The bar at the hotel served food meals and snacks which we tried a few times and all were good.
We were bed and breakfast which consisted of toast, jam, butter, cereal tea/coffee and orange juice. You could order a cooked breakfast for a few Euro more
I really enjoyed our stay here and would return again.
We have been going to Laganas for over 12 years and think that it’s a pity that its got a bad name due to the 18-30 culture as this was a lovely place.
We went to Kalamaki a couple of times and ate in a restaurant called Heavens Kitchen it had the best food we had and is well worth a visit.
