| said: We have just returned from this hotel after a 2 week stay. It had been recommended to us last year whilst we were staying at another hotel in Dalyan.
We were very satisfied, and would definately go back.
The breakfast was more than adequate, but did get a bit boring after the first week, because it was the same every day.The dining area looks diectly across to the rock tombs, an amazing sight.
The rooms were large and spotlessly cleaned every day.
One disappointment was that the bedding and towels were only changed every 3 to 4 days, not like the previous hotel we stayed in in Dalyan, where towels were changed daily.
The pool area was very good, and there were enough sun beds and umbrellas most of the time.
The hotel has it's own boat, and the trips are excellent value. We went on the Crab Fishing day out, which only cost 30 Lire( £12), and had a lovely day fishing, sunning and swimming. The lunch produced by the captain was amazing considering the facilities on the boat. The meal alone we had was worth the 30 TL.
The location of the hotel is ideal for all the bars and restaurants, but does not get any excessive noise.
We would definately recommend this hotel if you like a small, fairly simple, relaxed holiday.

| said: Spent a week in the Metin Hotel in September .07
Hotel was spotless and the rooms were a reasonable size.
Breakfast was served on the roof top over looking the rock tombs a view that I thought was beautiful. I don’t normally get up for breakfast on holidays as I like a lie in, but the view from the hotel was special I actually got up just to be able to sit and taken in the scenery. Breakfast was typically Turkish but for a few Lira you could get scrambled eggs or omelette.
If you are half board they serve meals around the pool in the evening. We did not have an evening meal there so cant comment on food, we did have lunch which was very nice.
The Metin is in the centre of Dalyan just of the main road but wasn’t noisy.
Our room had a view over the Rock Tombs all the windows have mossie nets over them which is a plus point.
We were a bit worried about going to Dalyan as everyone said it was bad for mossies but we didn’t have a problem with them, but kept covered in repellent just in case.
I fell in love with Dalyan it was so different from the other places we had been in Turkey it was so relaxing. We even learned how to play backgammon with the locals.
We hired a boat for just the two of us for the day it only cost about £40 including lunch and we were away from 10 in the morning till 8 at night the captain took us to meet his wife and daughter.
One of the lasting memories was sitting at a riverside restaurant at lunch time, eating Lamachun drinking Efes where we watched the waiter feed the turtles and seeing a snake swim along the river.
Yes I would go back to the hotel again.
