| said: My husband and I have recently returned from a 3 night stay over the New Year at the Hilton Westend. The hotel was in a great central location but the biggest plus for us was that the hotel is located to the side of the Westend Shopping Mall (400+ shops) and by taking the escalators to the ground floor you are able to access the Metro system without going outside - a bonus when the weather is -5 degrees!
We had a standard kingsize room which was a good size and a bathroom with bath and large separate shower cubicle. Evelyn & Crabtree toiletries were provided and the room had good tea and coffee making facilities.
We found the staff at this hotel to be very efficient and nothing was too much trouble for them. We didn't dine at the hotel but did decide to book their New Year's Eve buffet/disco evening. The buffet food was excellent and ranged from kangeroo and crocodile steaks to sushi and baklava.
We have taken many city breaks to hotels worldwide and found this to be one of the best city hotels we have encountered - would highly recommend it!
