We've just come back from 18 nights at the Springhill Suites, which is part of the Marriott Village in Lake Buena Vista. We have a great time here - the room was huge, with 2 double beds, a built in wardrobe, a bath/shower room, plus a separate living area with a sofa (folds out into a bed if needed),desk and kitchen area (microwave, fridge, coffee maker and sink). There were various extras which added to the comfort - two tvs (one in the bedroom area, one in the living area), aircon that really worked, a guest laundry, lobby coffee machine and free safety deposit box behind the reception (just had to pay a deposit). The hotel had a nice outdoor pool(mainly shallow so great for kids)with a hot tub, the pool was open till 11pm every night (but not noisy, even though we were overlooking it). The staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful - the maids decorated the beds every day using the huge numbers of soft toys the kids had bought. The free breakfast was fine, with doughnuts, cereals, bagels, toast, waffles, porridge and a changing hot choice (sausage patties, sausage gravy (???) or ham and boiled eggs), also tea, coffee, milk and juice. We filled up on breakfast and skipped lunch quite often. Location wise Springhill Suites Hotel is 5 minutes drive one way from I Drive South, and 5 minutes drive the other way from the main entrance to Walt Disney World (downtown entrance), so it's pretty central for all the attractions, and the driving was easy. There are several restaurants you can walk to if you want to leave the car, we went to Bahama Breeze and Lone Star, both of which were great. My only complaint is that the pool-side bar was never open, it would have been nice to be able to get a beer on the few days that we stayed by the pool, but that is a really minor point (and we could use the bar in the Courtyard Hotel opposite). I would definitely return to this hotel
