| said: Visited the Mavi Belce hotel for the first time July 08, travelling with singles company Travel One, so we were there on a half board basis but the hotel only does this for TravelOne guests so I won't review that aspect.
Rooms are very nice, spacious enough, and I was surprised to find television (two english speaking channels if anyone is interested in telly on hols!), mini bar/fridge and hairdrier included. Air conditioning and safety deposit boxes available at extra cost (though someone in our party found out that they could switch the unit on manually by reaching up to it rather than paying for the remote!).
Rooms kept impeccably clean by the wonderful two cleaners. All of the staff very friendly and helpful.
The grounds were nice but perhaps needed a little tlc in terms of planting a few more flowers and having the grass areas cut and watered. I also thought they should hose the entire pool surround area down if not each night then a couple of times a week. It wasn't dirty by any means but that touch would have kept things totally spotless. There was also a lack of bins around the pool area although the staff were always looking around and tidying anything away that they might see.
Location of the hotel is superb. It is quiet during the day, but there is a little noise from a bar behind in the evenings if you are located in the particular block I was. It is only a five minute stroll down to the beachfront so just perfect for being in the centre of everything.
You can choose to pay cash for drinks and snacks or you can have a tab which you can settle daily, every other day or even leave for a week.
All in all a recommended hotel, it worked well having 12-14 singles in a 46 roomed hotel as everyone mixed well around the poolside during the day. We didn't stick out like a sore thumb, put it that way.
They also have an adorable retriever puppy called Mutley and a little black rabbit whose name escapes me. It's all these little touches that make somewhere memorable isn't it?
Rates at hotel for July are £30 per room per night B&B.

only a small hotel but no problems with sun beds as with bigger establishments..if you didnt have a unbrella they would find one without a problem or fuss.same with another pillow for the bedroom or extra coathangers.
