The hotel was full but not over crowded. It does not have a lift so if you are on the second floor, tuff.
It is clean and tidy. The rooms are not fantastic but adequate for sleeping in. The food for us was very good.
We had a good choice and as we are not fussy eaters we tried new foods. If you are expecting fish and chips or bangers and mash then you will be disappointed. There is plenty of salads and fresh fruits. We can honestly say that we did not have a bad meal time.
The staff are friendly and polite.
Take your own hair dryer!!! There was only one down side for us and that was the fact that smoking is permitted in the bar area and around the hotel. We are non smokers, you do get used to it but it was a big downer for us. There is no smoking in the restaurant so that was great.
We timed ourselves walking to the ski slopes and with an 8 year old taking our time it was approximatley 16 minutes. We found that this walk was a great way to wake up and stretch your limbs before hitting the slopes. You can of course get a horse and trap into town if you dont like walking. Around 10 levi.
The hotel entertainment, if you can call it that was a trio who sang in the restaurant in the evening. ummm. The jury is still out on that one!!
We would definitely visit this hotel again.
