| said: we had a bit of a nightmare realy.. the hotel itself was good but a couple of staff were a bit ignorant and the germans absolutly peed every1 off with there sunbed antics ,also everybody has to pay 4 lev for a sunbed and germans only pay 2 lev???? also i had noticed in my time there a few english couples, as they checked out had been charged for stupid things like a missing cup! me and my partner were told to pay 30 lev for a missing flannel and a medium towel which never left our room and had misteriously disapeared on the last day. a couple we also got to know said there flannel and medium towel went missing.
our only good thing to say about the place was one of the pool boys (if yuve been you will know which one i am talking about) and the 2 bar staff inside the hotel. breakfast wasnt that good either.. more for germans really, entertaiment was bad. a man and a woman singing every night the sames songs again and again.. oh and the prices for everything in bulgaria had rocketed this year!

| said: We spent a week at this hotel and couldn’t really fault it. Location was brilliant, 5 min walk to centre of the resort and approx 1 min to beach. Have been to sunny beach once before and stayed at the Chaika beach hotel which was very noisy at night but this was great as it is set back about 50m from the main front, there is no noise at all.
Rooms were very basic but we knew this before we booked. But they were very clean and had everything you needed. Don’t think the hotel had entertainment, but there is so many places to go at night its not really needed. We only had breakfast once in the hotel on the last day, and were disappointed we didn’t have it there before as it was quite good. Again so many places to eat out for so cheap food will not be a problem.
Our only main downside for the hotel was the pool, very big and never got too busy which was good, but it just wasn’t kept clean. While we were there 2 people got ear infections, and the water was constantly murky with lots of floating bits!
Apart from that we really enjoyed our stay, and would recommend this hotel if you want a nice clean base for your holiday, close to everything you need.
1 tip, there is a serious lack of plug sockets in the room, i think there was 1! So if you need a few things plugging in- hair dryer TV etc, take an double plug!

| said: My family and I have recently returned from 2 weeks in this hotel, we found it to be an excellent hotel. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were excellent and very clean.
We tried the breakfast twice, and while it was ok it wasn't our cup of tea but there are several very good restaurants or cafes nearby and the prices are so cheap we ate out almost every morning.
The pool was very good and clean, there is also a small pool which is excellent for young children.
The hotel is in a central location for everything else in the resort. I have been to Bulgaria 5 times before in different hotels, we are definitely going to book to go in this hotel again next year, but would recommend booking early as this hotel fills up very qiuckly due to its popularity.

| said: We have just returned from 2 weeks at the Regina hotel,we stayed on a bed and breakfast basis but the breakfast was not up to much, but its so cheap to eat out it didn't matter.
We ate tea in the restuarant on three occasions and the meals were lovely.
The staff at the pool bar were very nice and friendly,no complaints at all.
There was a man and woman singing every night but although you got fed up of the same songs every night they were a lovely couple to talk to.
The hotel was quite private in its own grounds but only a five min walk to the beach which was great.
The cleanliness was quite good and more of a 4 star than a 3.
Would stay in this hotel again.

| said: Just got back from a fantastic holiday in Sunny Beach Bulgaria this hotel was lovely it was spotless and the food was excellent. Breakfast wasn’t my cup of tea but it was nice enough fruit, cereals, cheese, beans, scrambled egg, bacon if you could call it that it was mostly fat but a wide choice for everyone.
The lunch was gorgeous and cheap as chips try the country chips as they call them there potato wedges lovely we tried most everything as we were there for 2wks and my daughter likes to stay round the pool. I can't fault one meal in this hotel and the waiter and waitresses service was top brilliant, people friendly and understanding we had a issue about the bedding. They tried charging us 30lev for marks on the sheets but they were already there this was the only problem which was solved with a chat and explanation they don’t tell you this but if its your first time in Bulgaria if you damage anything in your hotels and you don’t pay your bills you won't be given a white slip to leave the country. Once at the airport they will charge you or you don’t get home its very weird we didn’t know this either.
Apart from that there isn’t anything wrong with the people place or this accommodation.
The pool is 5ft deep all over and large you pay 3lev per day for the sun beds but there are always plenty.
The location of this hotel is great 2mins to the beech 1 min to food chemist photo shop cafe you name it it's there there’s trees, plants, flowers, roses on the grounds its fantastic. I even got a pool view our room was already the chair bed was made up for our daughter the towels were made out on our beds like fans plenty of room not a lot of cupboard space though needs a set of draws.
Entertainment was a man and women singing not bad just needs a bit more for the kids like a show or 2 and a little something in the day 4 them although they seemed quite content but it would just be nice for them as there was a few little ones all ages as well.
Nothing else I can say just that there were 13 of us and we had a great time Bulgaria is a place to visit time after time. Neesebar needs to be seen didn’t go across on the boat got a taxi 20lev nought even caught the bus back straight out side Neesebar entrance 3lev for 5 on us not even a quid the food in Bulgaria is lovely forest hut is a must and lots more there isn’t really a bad one clothes shoes bags are every where its a girls paradise not may for the larger more beautiful ladies though as I found out myself more for the slim model types but they still make you feel good about yourselves even if it won't go anywhere near its fun all
I want to leave you with give it a try make your own minds up I did and im glad.

| said: My family and my friends family stayed at the Regina we went with open minds we found the cleanliness of yhe hotel very good. We stayed on a bed & breakfast basis we found the food to be good not brilliant but there was enough variety for everyone to have a decent breakfast which is a rarity from other reports.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well situated only 50 meters from the beach and a short walk to all the shops and bars but far enough away for it to be quiet.
We had a couple of nights where drunks were running up and down the corridoors shouting and banging doors but the hotel staff soon put a stop to it.
The entertainment was poor but it is about average for most hotels. If we go back to sunny beach in the future I would certainly consider this hotel.

| said: My girlfriend and I stayed at the Regina from August 2nd to the 17th of this year (2005). We had an excellent time in Bulgaria.
The hotel was situated just above the beach promenade/street, so getting down to the beach took less than 5 minutes. Shops and restaurants were right nearby, and Sunny Beach in general was amazing. Plenty of activities, shops, bars, nightclubs +++
The hotel itself was really good on making the bed and everything, although they didn´t really clean the floor to often, unless it was "filled" with sand. Just leave a few levs on the bed every day, and you´ll get a little better service from some of the maids. Didn´t look like some of them cared for tips, really, but oh well.
The entertainment at the hotel? Well, there were a couple, this guy and a lady, who stood outside by the hotel bar and played every single night. But hey, that kind of entertainment was obviously the same whereever you went. Somehow the Bulgarians thought that tourists HAD to have live music. Well, not if it´s that bad ;)
We had breakfast included, which we obviously could´ve done without. The food was terrible, but for Brits I´m sure it´s okay. It´s just that I can´t stand that aweful English Breakfast, yuck! (No offence!)
All in all a good choice of hotel. Some places I´ve seen it rated to 3*, others 3+, and I´d say it´s closer to 4 than a 3.
By the way, make sure to buy contact lenses for you eyes, denim designer pants, glasses, fake nails, cut/dye your hair, and tattoos while your in Bulgaria, exstremely cheap!!

| said: The hotel was very clean in general, but it depended which maid cleaned the room. One girl would clean very well and tidy up everything, another would just mop the floor and fold the towels up. We got clean towels every other day, beds changed once a week, but on the last 4 days we asked for towels, but didn’t get any.
The pool was only cleaned when someone complained about it. Also be aware that you have to pay 4 lev if you want to use a sunbed, we only found out about this when we got there. The pool bar was great, but we had to check our change.
The entertainment wasn’t up to much, just the same man singing every night, the same songs.
The location was great, close to everything.
Some of the staff were quite ignorant, but some of them were nice.
We found Bulgarian people very pleasant on the whole.
I only went in for breakfast once, just had coffee, the food was only luke warm, which is bad, and not very nice at all. But food is cheap there so we ate out the rest of the holiday.
Our friend’s room had a funny smell, which was never sorted out. Another friend booked for a family room, but they have not got one, so they were moved around the hotel 3 times in the first week, until they eventually got 2 rooms with adjoining doors.
We had stay in the hotel next door for the first 2 nights because the hotel had been overbooked, we refused to stay in the other hotel on the 2nd night, and were eventually given our rooms at 9pm that night, after camping out in reception all day, and making complaints to the rep and the management.
