| said: a lovely hotel in secluded rural Turkey with a large pool, big rooms, bath and shower.Well off the beaten track in a tiny village called Turgutkoy about 45 mins by car from marmaris and Turunc....but a whole world away. There is a path to the small village beach and we often saw the kingfisher and turtles, and it is perfect for people who enjoy walking and exploring the countryside. It is now well-run by Ayfer and Ugur who used to run the lazy days at sea for Tapestry Holidays in their yachts, Tehmote and Ali Ugur.
The breakfasts were excellent and there was a good evening menu...the meatballs cooked on wood fires were really good.
Its a place where you make your own entertainment, playing cards with the Turks and putting the world to rights, a really peaceful, laid-back holiday. The hospitality was superb, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is available through Anatolian Sky' or you can travel independently and they will arrange transfers for you.
We can't wait to go back!
