| When it comes to a break that offers up lashings of battery-recharging R&R, this place is pretty hard to beat. First off, there's the setting to think about. Just a stone's skim from a top-notch beach, it's ringed by a sea of swaying palms. So if it's a tropical paradise you're after, you've come to the right place. Then there's the golf to think about. The hotel's about a minute's walk from an 18-hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, which means fans of the auld game have struck gold with this one. What's more, the hotel offers lockers for your clubs, a shop selling game essentials, and if you book a round with reception, you'll enjoy a ten per cent discount. Golf aside, it's natural that with the temperature riding high you'll want a seductive pool scene. And this place comes up trumps on that front, too. There are two large pools here, plus a third smaller one. And they're all framed by sunbed-scattered terraces so you won't have to skimp on comfort in the pursuit of the perfect tan. Don't forget, this hotel is part of our Exclusively for Adults range, which means you can kick back and relax without any interruptions. Away from the pools, the hotel does really well on the food front, too. Choice is the buzzword here, with a buffet restaurant and three a la carte offerings vying for your attention. Caribbean. Mexican. Oriental. There are plenty of flavours to choose from. Plus one's a grill restaurant serving cooked-to-perfection steaks and another concentrates solely on ocean-fresh fish dishes. While we're on the subject of food, you can kickstart your day with a typical English breakfast. Sizzling sausages. Crispy bacon. And fluffy eggs. Delicious. Activity-wise, there's loads going on at this hotel. You've got a fully-equipped gym to work out in, things like aerobics classes to join and a whole host of watersports tempting you to get wet, including sailing, snorkelling and jet-skis. So if you're looking for a relaxing beach break with plenty to keep boredom at bay, give this one a whirl. You'll be booking your return trip before you know it.

| said: We found the hotel clean and often got two towel changes a day, which was'nt needed as you are supplied with beach towels.
The food was basic but you could always find something to eat, but you had to be quick to beat the flies, and the birds flying through taking food from unattended plates.
The hotel was in the middle of a scenic well kept golf course near to a small shopping plazza, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly than they were, the entertainment was poor, for a hotel not catering for children it was at best juvenile.
When it rained, and it often did, there was nowhere to go unless you had managed to get a sun shade, the main bar was not covered so a lot of people went back to their rooms which I refused to do when on holiday, the other option was to seek shelter at the spa bar if you could get in.
My husband is a diver and he said the visibility was poor he saw more diving in Britain the week before.

| said: The hotel complex is well laid out, the standard of hygiene was excellent, however the food in the so called a'la carte restaurants was diabolical, limited choice, and poorly presented, rather like school dinners!.The hotel was a minutes walk from the beach, and was near the golf course if you are golfers. The hotel has an "animacion" team, who entertained us throughout the holiday if it had not have been for them i think we would have gone mad with boredom, the hotel entertainment consisted of salsa style band, and a water ballet - truly appalling, the "animacion team" therefore are expected to keep all the hotel guests amused and entertained, a tall order, considering they have limited costumes and equipment.
The resort virtually closes at 10.30pm, no nightlife to speak of, if you want to entertain yourselves after 10.30 you have to go in search of other venues.
