| said: We stayed in these apartments in June 2006.
We were in the older blocks of apartments which were very spacious and clean. The staff were really friendly and went out of there way to help you, they could understand English really well.
There was a little cafe in the reception and the food was absolutely fantastic and so cheap. The reception hours are 9am till 10pm but rarely would they shut at 10pm if people were drinking in the bar.
It is a bit out of the way of the old town and new town if you do not hire a car but they do put on a free bus to the old town about 4 times a day. There is the odd dog that barks at night but not really a problem.
Overall it was a great place to stop (if you hire a vehicle) and we can’t wait to go back there. No entertainment in the complex but that’s what we wanted.

| said: I thought that the apartments were very clean and the towels and bedding were changed regularly.
Due to there being 5 of us, we were put into one of the double rooms,which sadly had no balcony. This was very disapointing because usually we use the balcony to dry towels and clothing. Also, due to not having a balcony, we never got the opportunity to sit out in the morning sun with a tea or coffee in the comfort of our own room.
The location of the apartments was a bit of a problem,especially at nights. The strip was a 15 minute walk away and because we didnt get ready until around 9pm the reception was closed, and therefore we couldnt order a taxi to the strip. This resulted in us having to walk, and after a long day relaxing in the sun and after getting ready, a 15 minute trek is the last thing you want to do!!
Staff service was very good and they were helpful at the reception. most of them can understand english but I had a problem one of the days when she couldnt understand where I wanted to book the taxi to! This was a difficult situation but was soon resolved with the help of some leaflets.
There was no entertainment but the strip had lots to offer! Although these aprtments were very clean, I wouldnt visit them again, mainly due to their location.

| said: This complex had about 38 apartments - split into a new block of about 30 and the rest of them older ones.
We booked our holiday over a year before departure date and disappointingly ended up with one of the older apartments with no terrace or balcony, a very tatty fridge. Unfortunately we were right at the front of the building, so the noise level at night was particularly bad with people rolling in up to 4.30am in the morning. Over the 2 weeks we were there we did not have an undisturbed nights sleep.
The local dogs are a particular problem in this area, all milling around in packs of about 4 or 5. They all start barking at around 10.30pm and go on till well after midnight. Only consider these apartments if you sleep heavily!
The cleanliness was okay, they cleaned every other day and changed the linen once a week and the towels twice.
There was no entertainment in this complex, which suited us.

| said: We could not find much info on this appartment before travelling, which worried us. Pleasently surprised when we arrived, clean, friendly.
A little away from the centre but that was fine for us.

| said: The apartments are made up of old and new, we stayed in the new ones. The apartment was fantastic, one bedroom, large lounge with a balcony spanning the bedroom and living room. It had a separate kitchen with all new fixtures and fittings, all utensils pots pans stove microwave electric kettle and toaster were all new. The inside was very nice, but oh dear then we looked out side. Standing on the balcony, to the left you could see the pool and main reception which closed every night at 8pm. Straight ahead was the rear of a car hire firm complete with noisy car wash. To the right was waste land with an old ram shackled make shift caravan which someone was squatting in. Go into the kitchen and look out the window and what do we see? more waste land and on the other side of it was the local cemetery.
What a shame lovely apartments but like an oasis in the desert. One good thing it only took approximately twenty minutes walk to get to the Montechoro Strip.
