| said: Not a bad Hotel at all. We were lucky to get a suite so made up for bad weather. Massive lounge and bedroom with TV in each bit with two WC, Bath, Bidet. If you go for this Hotel try and book a suite, but the other rooms seem ok as well.
Good choice of TV channels, with an interesting XXX Discovery channel when you come back at 3am.
Hotel is a mix of german and brit guests. Food was of a good standard. Really good choice for Breakfast and Dinner but yes - it is bulgarian food - funny that being in Bulgaria!
Staff are ok, and are no worse or better than all of the other Bulgarians we met in the resort - they really are a dour lot. We tipped well but rarely did they acknowledge that. Germans could do with a few lessons in manners. We soon learnt to let them have their scoff and retire back to their rooms so then we could have a relaxed dinner.
There is no entertainment so you have to hike off the secured site. It rained a few nights so take a jacket!
A 10 minute walk and you are in the Centre but a lot of people were not used to this concept of going off site so to speak and were at a loss on what to do in the evening.
No big screen tv, no pool tables, no kids - heaven!
Oh yes, when you depart, expect to lug your suitcases and bags for 10 minutes to the security gate. This is not a pleasant experince at 4 o clock in the morning. Buses dropped us off at door ok, but driver would not pick us up. We are failrly fit but the older people really struggled to get up the hill with their luggage.
