| said: Myself and three others stayed at the Wembley Travelodge on Saturday 16th June 2007 (at a cost of £60 per room) after attending a Muse gig at Wembley Stadium. I've rated the location four as although it isn't situated in a nice area (on an industrial estate!) it's ideally situated for Wembley Stadium/Arena.
We arrived at the hotel at 11.15am and were delighted to find we could check-in immediately rather than having to wait until the advertised check-in time of 15.00.
I parked my car in the hotel's car park (109 first-come, first-served spaces) at a cost of £5 for the duration of our stay, a price I thought to be very reasonable. To leave the car park the following morning (gates were shut) I placed the room card in the slot at the car park exit then deposited the card in the box near the slot.
We'd booked two rooms and both were vacant upon our arrival so we were able to make use of them straight away.
Our rooms were adjacent to each other, another plus as in the past when I've booked more than one Travelodge room they've not always been situated in the same part of the hotel.
Our view couldn't have been better! We looked out of our respective windows to find we had a bird's eye view (literally as we were on the seventh floor!) of Wembley Stadium!
Rooms were clean and well-stocked with beverage making equipment.
Both rooms had two twin beds, a television, a shower, WC and basin. Towels supplied.
Plenty of coat hangers supplied.
Additional pillows in wardrobe area.
Card slot for electricity (door card to be placed in slot).
There is a large Bar Cafe https://www.travelodge.co.uk/bar_cafe/ in the reception area but we didn't use any of the facilities so can't comment other than to say it looked to be a nice area to relax and have a bite to eat/drink in.
There are vending machines in the reception area containing confectionery, crisps, biscuits and drinks.
We caught a taxi from the hotel to the stadium having made use of the free taxi phone in the reception area (taxi cost £8).
After the gig we decided to walk back to the hotel as there would have been an extremely long wait for a taxi. Took us approximately half an hour.
Nearest mainline railway station is Stonebridge Park at half a mile distance. Nearest tube station is Hanger Lane, also half a mile away.
Wembley Stadium/Arena complex is two miles from the hotel.
