| said: We read the reviews and were not disappointed. What an amazing place, apart from loose strings on a tennis racquet we could not fault it (excuse the pun!), it’s certainly the best hotel in the world we have stayed in. From the exclusive guarded private entrance, to the arrival greeting, the size of room, views, personal touches, superb restaurant, service and fabulous facilities, what a place!
Room - Big room, butler bell, luxurious bathroom and bed, 10/10.
Food/Drink – Superb, 5 star food – great use of ingredients. Excellent wine selection. 10/10
Facilities – Amazing swimming pool and outdoor heated whirlpool overlooking the snow peaked foothills of the Himalayas. Free use of racquets for the outdoor tennis court (is turned into an ice rink in the winter). 10/10
We travelled from Delhi, stayed for 3 nights and could have stayed longer if it weren’t for our darn budget. Pure indulgence. An 8-9 hour drive from Delhi, otherwise you could ask the Oberoi to charter you a private jet for £4000 (one way!).
