Not a sanctuary, but a decent place as a base in a quite bleak town called Hospet. Big room with a clean bathroom and hot running water, TV, fridge and two twin beds wedged together as a double…one had a lively wheel, so it was fun at night with the beds splitting apart!
Room service is available from a vast menu. A bit hit and miss in the restaurant, but the aloo paratha and masala papads are worthy of noting. Oh yes, there’s a rather large swimming pool on site too!
