| said: We have just returned from the Sun Love Hotel ( 2 adults+2 children )and we had a fab time, the hotel is very nice and kept very clean, plenty of sun loungers and room around the pools ,the staff are friendly+helpful, the food wasnt great but its cheap enough to eat out, and considering what you pay for this hotel it is good value for money, would go again.

| said: it is an alright place to stay but there is no entertainment at night and it is about 20 minutes away from the beach. the rooms are kept pretty clean but you dont know what time the maid will come in and she nevers knocks before entering. the reception staff are very nice they always greet you when you come in and if there is any kind of problem they will always try to help. the bar staff are quite good but sometimes lack abit of concentration.

| said: We really enjoyed our stay at Sun Love. Given the price we paid for all inclusive, the food was good and there was always fresh salad and a good choice of courses. We didn't go to Turkey to eat British food so we were happy, but on site if you want a full fry-up at anytime you can pay for one. The staff were helpful, approachable and very friendly. The people we met in town were very welcoming and really made our holiday great. The pool was clean and plenty big enough. There is a 15min walk into town, but there are plenty of yellow cabs if you want a lift back and they use a meter so no getting ripped off. We never got searched for food or drink and had nothing stolen. As most people there go all inclusive they have tip boxes for the staff, but to be fair that is the only way the staff can get a tip. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back there again.

| said: I am planning a holiday and very weary after my Sun Love Hotel experience. The reviews you are reading in regard to the poor customer care, standard and hygiene of this hotel are all true.
As I have travelled before I was a bit silly not to be aware that the deal myself and my partner got was too good to be true.
I complained to the holiday company whom were very rude to me just to add to the distress and stated in their reply that maybe my sickness and skin rash was due to my poor hygiene. On top of this I had the travel agent investigator be extremely rude to me and bang the phone down on me.
The hotel is unbelievable and definitely not 4*. Be very careful if your booking a holiday abroad to ensure that it has been checked out by an English company as our * can vary to their rating. That was actually what the travel company Right Holidays were kind and helpful enough to point out to me after this nightmare!
The hotel tried to put me and my partner in a back hotel room with a small skylight and then when we asked to move which was to a room with a balcony door that did not lock and was broken.
The staff expected you to give them not only tips all the time but the shirt off your back as in football ones! My partner was made to wait and ignored or had the barman being rude to him.
On top of this a male staff member blocked my way going to the ladies to then follow me. Fortunately my partner saw this and the male staff walked away.
Food was not even 1*. It was put out at breakfast and not covered, then put out again for lunch and then again for dinner. I got very sick and had to eat out of the hotel after paying all inclusive.
The female receptionist had no understanding of respecting customers and would speak to you in a very rude and patronising manner. When I rang reception for clean towels she point blank refused. I tried to explain we had no dry towels but she would not agree to allow us them. This was after leaving tips daily for the chambermaid and as she had changed them nearly every day we did not expect this. She was not willing to at all even when I went to reception and said from a female's point of view how am I meant to wash and dry myself. She also told me to speak to my holiday rep who was absolutely useless and did absolutely nothing to help as he was friendly with the staff.
The pool was chipped and not cleaned so I am sure that this is why I got hives all over my body which were very itchy and the uncleansiness of the hotel.
Overall, I felt that Right Holidays did not take any responsibility for this even though I eventually managed to get the holiday Rep to sign my complaint form. Two staff members were friendly and did their best and one other man whom helped with our cases and was kind enough to get me those towels. I never got a refund either or an apology from Right Holidays. It was shocking the whole experience.
If you go to Turkey try Olu Deniz or Ichmeler. As for Marmaris I wished I had stayed in the town. There was this one place we would go and eat that did amazing steaks and chicken with pepper sauce and had a hotel. The staff were very friendly there.
I came back feeling relieved but very angry that I had spent at least £2000 for my holiday and then having to eat out. The staff were intimidating and I would say that 75% of the hotel guests felt that way and did not think much of the hotel.
Apparently it had been rented out and I would say that it is fine just for a room but not allinclusive. The drinks were not even nice and did not taste fresh.
This year I am using a reputable travel agents and not taking the chance with one I see on the internet and know nothing about.
We actually became so concerned about our safety and wellbeing that we contacted a family member whom contacted Right Holidays. They would not even arrange a flight for us to come back early or bothered to make any contact with us.
I have thought of seeing if I had the right to make a claim which I can try to do as I get free legal advice as a nursing student. I will definitely be making this known to the travel governing bodies in England as it would not surprise me if there have been other complaints.
My advice don't ever go there!

this was an all inclusive deal but it was not a real all inclusive,however for the price we payed i would not have expected much more.the food was ok, some nights we hit lucky,chicken,chips and rice cant go wrong really,it was grea.Other days we had to eat out but as i said we didnt pay top whack so therefore i didnt mind eating out once in a while.
we got our moneys worth in drinks, although the all inclusive stops at 12am and on your last day no matter what time your flight it stops at 12 midday.
the hotel itself is spotless i cant fault it really however the pool was very deep and very cold ha! we had some fun with that some days!
the rooms are small but perfectly formed all you need, plenty of sockets,hairdryer,power shower,air con sky tv etc..
great balconys over looking the pool area and i found at night if you shut the balcony door it blocked out most of the music from the bar.
the staff are friendly,Brian the bar man is funny,he calls himself the fastest bar man in Turkey,we named him speedy as he is definitily the slowest bar man ever ha!
if your youing female and single you will be treat like a queen by Ebor the other bar man,but they are all ok, we did find they were all a bit fe dup but it was the end of the season so maybe thats why.
if your looking for a cheap cheerfull holiday with a simple functional hotel then this is the place for you,if you want a bit of luxery then no way!
we went with right holidays and the rep Paul(Ercan)was great, he was there everyday and was a great guy no problems at all with right holidays.
The walk to the centre of Marmaris takes around 15 mins its not to bad you do get a bit sick of it by the end but its not a bad walk really,the road is busier during the day but at night its fine.
drinks in the all inclusive are
tuborg lager,
vodka,
raki,
gin,
wine, red or white.
any juice or fizzy drinks and water also.
breakfast is salad, cornflakes,eggs and bread
lunch is either something and chips or rice and pasta very basic...
dinner is usually chicken or beef with rice and chips
all with salad.
all in all the hotel was great for what we payed,food wasnt brill but ok,drinks were fine,service was, well depends what day of the week it was ha!
i had no problems with the hotel really i wouldnt go back to marmaris EVER but not because of the sun love,that was the best bit.

Cleaners do not clean properly and do not change linen as often as stated.We saw one cleaner blow her nose in the clean towels.
We lasted 2 days and then moved to a 2 star hotel which was infinately much better.

Holiday company was ok for you people worried about rightholidays.com no probs with them.
Hotel Sun Love is a newish hotel and its rooms are nice and tidy apart from the shower as you will have read in the reports, does flood your bathroom.
Towels changed every 2 days sometimes 3 days but watch out for cleaners putting wet towels back on your bed as it can get really damp.
Food.... Breakfast: Was Ok but could have done with Toast with it, Turks do not know what Toast is ( bread put out on the Sun for 5 mins ) only kidding.
Lunch: Id say give it a miss.
Dinner: always something eatable and was quite nice.
Ps Now the bad part...........
Hygiene: This is really bad, Cups, Tumblers are washed in Bar sink which also has Fag butts and ash in the water, and ledge between Bar and Restaurant is Filthy, never washed or polished and always cluttered with used dishes etc....
Location: Great if you like walking, it can be tedious as its well out the way and recommend a coutesary bus should be provided. Last remark, you will only get water pass reception if its in a black bag, if they see it, be prepared to have it consficated.
Staff: some helpful, others only if you are female under 25

| said: The apartments are spotless,2 bed app with 5 beds,food not good at all but no point complaining because everything else makes up for it, staff friendly enough but if you are rude to them they will be just as rude to you, some little things went missing in our room like my girls make up so lock everything up in your safe.it was not just our room either spoke to other guests and they also had make up stolen, lipsticks and eyeliner seem to be the favourite of the maids,would prob go here again but not leave anything out i wanted to keep

| said: We stayed at the Sun Love hotel for 2 weeks in August and had a great time. The hotel was fantastic the staff even better and the cleaners second to none.
Brian, Byram, Gabrielle and Devran make you feel so welcome. Brian does his rounds around the pool everyday making sure everyone is ok and if not he sorts it out. Ebo is also very freindly but loses interest when a pretty girl walks past!!!.
Food was repetative but never had anything i didnt like. Kabab for tea with all inclusive beer thats what holidays are for!! The price we paid for an all inclusive holiday you could not ask for anything else, superb value for money.
Our Rep, Ercan, was the best rep we have ever had (and we have had a few!) he would bend over backwards to accomodate you, was very freindly and always around to help.
The cleanliness of the hotel were fantastic around the pool was always very clean, yes the bar was sticky but its a bar!!!
All in All loved the holiday, hotel, and the staff would go again and again and again loved it, especially the complainers who seem to have never had a decent holiday and even complained about home!!

The so called all-inclusive tariff is a joke,the complex and staff are very good but the system they work to needs to be looked at.the cleaning needs to be looked at as well around the pool and bar areas.on day of departure we were asked to vacate our rooms for
12-30pm then were told our all-inclusive had stopped from that moment even though we were not being picked up until 2-30pm so we did not get 7 full days we had payed for all-in-all we were not inpressed with the hotel sun love

food was'nt great but eatable(if you like chicken rice chips and meat balls and pasta you will be fine)
location was good about a 15mintue walk to center of marmaris out of way of the noise
the staff are mint all really helpful the lads behind the bar are the best myram dervan brian and ebo make you feel at home they work too hard still there when you go bed and up before you (when do you guys ever sleep)
not much entertainment on a night but the guys do try with games of water polo and killer.
not a place for children good for couples and young groups
we had a wicked time didnt want to come home was sad to say bye to everyone.

The flooor in our room was discusting i dont think they know what clean is !!!!!
The food was discusting we couldnt even eat it that it was that bad.
The location is in the middle of no where our balcony was lookin on to the back where the hotel gardener was sleeping on a matress how discusting!!!
The staff depended who was about they were all over plying pool while the que at the bar was getting longer by the minute.
If you like dance music well theres your entertainment day and night.
I wouldnt advise this hotel to anyone.!!!!!!

| said: Our first time in Turkey and we thoroughly enjoyed both Turkey and the Sun Love, a well laid out hotel with very clean rooms
I noted that some complained about the food - yes if you only went for the hot dishes it was a little repetative but if you tried the soup, followed by the excellent arrays of salad and then tried the sauces with the main course from the hot section then you would be more than satisfied. Some people only see the chips rather than looking at the alternatives.
The "thief" from the hotel, well it was strange that the person who had £120 cash stolen later had 20 T shirts stolen all of which (she said) cost £21 each. Where in Marmaris can you by T shirts for that price as most places were 4 for £10! Methinks an insurance scam was taking place especially when we saw her husband for the first time on their last night and he admitted that it was too hot for him during the day so he stayed in his room (he was as white as a prison inmate).
The entertainment was non existent on the evenings but most people went into Marmaris or sat around the pool watching some of the moaners make fools of themselves. During the day the pool was the main source of entertainment -nice and deep which kept the jam eaters in their own small pools.
We met some smashing people their Jackie and Ann from Glasgow, the Monday club from Eyemouth, Kevin and Sue and Ashleigh and sisters/friends from Ireland plus many more.
Brian and Ebo certainly worked long hours and always had time for you.
If I was to complain it would be that it sometimes took a while to get served at the bar but that was only a small problem. Would we go back - definately.

When we arrived 6am we were allocated to the basement, we complained about this and then at 1pm we were given a room opposite the pool. The rooms for very clean and did the trick. Maids came everyday and changed towels and sheets. I would advise to get a safe deposit box as some guest had items and money stolen.
The food was a bit crap its either chicken nuggets, spag bol, mushroom strogonoff, chips and salad for dinner. Evening there was more choice especially the chicken and cornflakes haha. Cant really complain as the price we paid for 2 weeks all inc was a really good deal.
There was no entertainment on the nights but with some of the people we met they were the entertainment. Its was fantastic better than big brother something was happening everyday. From the water aerobics, arguments over spag bol, friends falling out it was all go.
This review is a little like a reunion so Hiya to edith, tracey, linzi, russ, kev and sue.
Id definatly go back to the Sun Love anytime.

| said: Myself and my wife Sue booked a 2 week All Inclusive holiday to the Sunlove hotel with Right Holidays of Kent. It was a great deal at the time of booking some four weeks prior to travelling.
We decided on the Sunlove hotel by way of the pictures shown on the Right Holidays website and the reviews posted on Holiday truths.
My wife and I are firm believers in not judging a book by its cover and took on board all the reviews leaving us to make up our own minds about the hotel.
Our first impressions of the hotel were subdued slightly purely due to its location, near a main road and not a lot going on around it. However after checking in and being taken to our room our spirits were lifted.
Our room was a family room which was totally unexpected as it was more like a two bedroom flat without the kitchen, although its balcony overlooked the main road.
The swimming pools Main,junior,toddler and water slide were all overlooked by the majority of the hotel rooms and their was no shortage of sunbeds for the guests
The rooms were fresh bright and cleaned daily. They were well equipped although the mini bar turned out to be empty however it was ideal for keeping your smuggled in low cost water and drinks in. (cheaper from the supermarket)
The location of the hotel was not the worst we have encountered and was only 20 minutes walk from the main thoroughfare which ran along the seafront. The main road turned out to be very quiet at night and did not pose a problem except when you tried to cross it when the sprinklers were on.
The main problems encountered by the minority turned out to be the food and the lack of entertainment. The food was acceptable and was tailored to the amount people paid for the all inclusive package, 5 star treatment attracts 5 star prices.
The entertainment was provided by Baki (the dancing chef) and those guests that decided to make a spectacle of themselves with their complaints, which really made the holiday.
The majority of the staff were brilliant with exceptions. Brian and Ebo made things happen and took on board what the guests wanted and in most cases delivered. Our Right Holidays Rep, Ercan was always there when you needed and did his best to sort out any problems you encountered.
On the whole the holiday was great we met some great people and would certainly return to the Sunlove.

would not rate this as a 4 star all inclusive hotel more like a 2 star self catering as you will probably eat out most days as food is so bad.
Beware there is a thief at this property, even though the management would not like to admit it and when the staff speak to other guests they say your doing it for insurance purposes. cheeky ****.
staff are fine as long as you dont complain and tip all the time, also spend allot of time with them.
met allot of lovely people at this hotel and was sad to go home just a pity the hotel did not live up to everythin that was told to us when we booked and the light fingered staff could not keep there hands off other peoples property.

| said: First of all the holiday was a nightmare with transfers been late etc and then on arrival of the hotel we found they had overbooked there rooms meaning that we had to stay where the staff were. there was no air conditioning or windows so we complained straight away. the staff seemed to compromise saying that we would be there for 6 hours finding ourselves staying there another night. after that we were moved into a big corner room with a balcony and was one of the nicest rooms i have ever been in. the beds were comfty and the sheets were cleaned everyday which on the website they said once every 3 days. we got clean towels every day and felt that the service from the cleaners was very good. also they were friendly. at no point did i feel that i could not trust the cleaners.
bar staff. The bar staff were reali friendly and introduced themselves coming round to everyone so that u felt comfortable. Some of the bar staff even tried to give you advice about bar street which is the place with all the clubs and pubs. Sometimes it did take a while to get a drink and you could only get one at a time unless they realised you were with a group of people. There was music played all day and with requests they played more relaxin music at tea time as not everyone liked to listen to the same music as the day time. They allow for you to put a cd on too if you have one depending what the cd has on it. One night they organised for people to go to karoke near the beach where people of all ages from the hotel went together and had an amazing time. i did not find there was a problem with the music from the bar and i enjoyed it apart from it was repeatative.
The food.
The food was excalty what you expect and i actually thought there wasnt going to be any english food. the food is different from spainish resorts but they did try and change when a few people complained. therefore it brough more choice and really enjoyed the food. the food was repetive though especially at breakfast and only got small portions at tea time.
hotel cleanliness was ok but could of been better for example we thought staff could of washed all the tables outside more as we only seen them gettin cleaned once in 7 days. also the floor should have been cleaned more often.
hotel location i thought was great about 10 mins walk to a supermarket like a tescos or asda with clothes in etc a taxi wasnt expenisve to the main town and there are busses you can get which are cheap

| said: I would advise people to go to marmaris but not to this hotel. my boyfriend and i got sick from the food, it was kidney beans and trays of onions. you have to tip them all the time as they just stand there expectantly. our "all inclusive" ran out at midday even though it was the fouteenth day that we had paid for. we were not leaving till eleven that night and when we tried to talk to the manager, he said that since we had checked out of our rooms "our holiday was now over, thank you! it isnt even all inclusive, no fruit juice,ice cream or anything like that. beware if you have already booked and you are going bed and breakfast because you wont be allowed to bring back cheap food from the supermarket, it is confiscated and you have to pay through the nose on the premises. the annoying thing is, even though the food is disgusting, (i lived on bread) when you order something from the snack menu that you are paying for, the food is fine, so they can cook nice food when they want to. ended up falling out with them and being moved by our rep on our last day, which tainted the holiday. would not go back to the sunlove under any circumstances, but would go to turkry again.

after a long day travelling we arrived tired and hungry around 4:30pm at hotel. when we asked to order a snack and refreshments we were told the kitchen wasn't open but to go to the pool bar. as the electricity was off (we learned later that the hotel has no back-up generator) we could only order cold drinks. when we asked where the nearest place was to eat, we were told to go into town, and pointed vaguely into the unknown. thankfully there was a nice english couple at the bar waiting for their rep who gave us details and directions.
the hotel was nothing like the web photos, but would like to commend their photographer on such stirling work on their behalf. despite this, we were happy to settle down to enjoy the break away.
the next two days there was no electricty at breakfast. an open half box of cereal sitting on a lone messy table and opened carton of milk or a few pieces of dry bread with limited preserves didn't quite give you an appitite, nor the cheap over diluted shot glass size of juice.
still we didn't make a fuss...it was holiday..right?
for our first three days we had every meal and snack in resort, only returning to hotel at night. it was a comfort to know that no matter what time we arrived, we could depend on the music at the pool bar staying pumping until at least 4am.
if you don't want the extra expense of daily taxis as we did, make sure you have good walking shoes, as it is some walk from the hotel just to get a dolumus into marmaris.
on returning third day, my husband brought back water for our room, as there was only small bottles available when we had asked earlier.
on entering hotel there were four local guys about mid twenties talking at entrance of foyer. without warning they surrounded my husband and roughly grabbed his arm pulling at the bags and demanding confiscation of them.
this was the last straw. at no time had been told water was not allowed in the rooms. i mean water!
we called the rep, and while waiting for his return call in our room, i received a call from reception telling me i was not to complain and not to use their phone. very impressive english from a receptionist who could never understand you when you asked her for anything.
anyway, rep was brilliant, and we moved to the karen hotel. it is fabulous!!! lovely layout, amazing rooms and facilities, quiet location and only 5mins from middle of clubs, bars and restaurants and beach. as for the karens staff...your greatest ever!
thank-you sunlove, if you hadn't been so lousey we would never have known about the wonderful karen hotel. i just hope the other four people who got transfered out along with us got so lucky. what am i saying, of course the did, the left the sunlove.

Wouldn't advise anyone with kids to go here you have to pay for real juice ice cream only 2 spirits you can drink is vodka and gin draught beer yukkkkk and cheap supermarket juice awful

Sun Love Hotel was a very clean and newly built hotel, the staff were great and really friendly but just seemed to take ages to serve you drinks, it was not to far from the beach around 800m.
The only problem with the hotel was there was no entertainment on a night as they want you to go out so you dont abuse the all- inclusive deal,
I would go back there tomorrow if i could and surely will be back later this year or next.

| said: Hotel was clean and maid service daily for clean towels which were needed as shower flooded whole bathroom everytime we used it.
Food OK, not too much variety but tasty and we didn't get sick from it. Very limited drinks on all inclusive and drinks poor quality.
Hotel didn't have many of the facilities advertised on website but pool lovely.
Noise from bar all night difficult to sleep, do not chose this hotel if you think being away from main resort= quiet if you want it.
Staff mostly friendly but tend to ignore you in favor of groups of girls!!
Not allowed to bring in bottled water from outside hotel have to buy from bar at overinflated price.
All inclusive package only lasts till 12 lunchtime on day of departure meaning for us it only lasted 6 out of 7 days.

Hotel was very clean and rooms serviced daily to a high standard.
The food was well presented and quite a choice. With a mixture of Mediterranean and British food.
The free drinks were limited to locally produced but was just right without going over board.
The pool great is the word.
The bar at all times was well stocked and drink always available being manned by Ebo & Brian to great characters. They speak fluent English and joined in our jokes. which was great.
Would recommend the hotel to all single groups and families

The rooms are great and the pool is fantastic. It is away from the hustle and buste of the centre but in asy walking distance. I will go back here and stay as it is the best hotel abroad I have stayed in yet. I didnt get bitten once by mosqitoes and saw no cockroaches.
There was no entertainment but there was a pool table and music played throughout the day/night.
The food was great and unlike other holidays I didnt suffer with a bad tummy.
Brian and Ebo are great guys and will look after you as they did my boyfriend and I. this holiday was a birthday treat for me and it certainly was a treat.
The hotel is only a year old and you can tell as its in perfect condition... recommend this place to all.
