| said: If it wasn't for being put in that shed like room behind the hotel with rats running on the roof and loud music all night behind it I would have rated this hotel extremely well as the staff are great and thanks to the lovely cleaners they keep it very clean and well taken care of. The only thing that lets it down is the 3 outbuildings added to the back of the hotel to earn them extra money which is fine if that is what is explained when you book your holiday and you choose to stay in them at a lower cost than the others but if you've paid for a room facing the pool with a balcony and you get put in that it is just not on! They don't seem to want to do anything about this situation as it keeps on happening and they just seem oblivious to the fact that it keeps causing stress to holiday makers.
It's such a shame because the hotel is run well other than that and if you get the room that you paid for then you should be perfectly happy...good luck! I would stay at this hotel again if they took away those sheds for rooms and you knew for sure you would be staying in the room that you had booked.

| said: Beware! We booked a week in this hotel. Wanted a quiet room facing the pool. We were looking forward to a relaxing break in this small, fairly new build. We got a wooden stand-alone shed at the back of the hotel. Our only view was the back of the hotel wall, towering above our shed and blocking out any natural light and a washing line full of bed sheets and towels. Apart from an infestation of rats breeding the roof area of the shed, which kept us awake all night, we were also kept awake by the kareoke bar directly behind the shed. Hotel staff/management unsympathetic. Rather unfriendly in fact. Wouldn't move us to another room. They put down poison to kill rats and expected us to stay there. Thomas Cook eventually moved us after 3 sleepless nights and many calls to resort office. Transferred to a cheaper hotel -The Montebello Beach Hotel. Not much better. They had mice. Glad to be home.
