| said: My husband and I stayed here for a 4 night break in December.
Our room was one of 3 corner rooms (one on each floor) which I believe were once suites due to the fact that there was a separate seating area which looked as though it once housed a sofa and chair etc. All that was there however was a small round table with 2 cafe type dining chairs. This made the room look odd to be honest, as there was all this space with a small table plonked in the middle. Also in this part of the room was the satellite TV. Just off this seating area, through an arch, was the bedroom. Nice comfy bed with a dressing table. With the room being on the corner we had 3 big windows with views over the street below and the church on the corner. We were on the top floor. The 2 corner rooms below us had small balconies which would be lovely to stand on and watch the world go by.
The bathroom was large and very clean with a walk in shower - no bath. Clean towels were provided, and there was complimentary soap, shampoo, shower gel, shower cap and a small sewing kit.
As it was December the room was centrally heated and for the summer months there was air conditioning.
Breakfast was in the dining room on the ground floor and consisted of cereals, sausages, hard boiled eggs, salad, ham, bread (no toaster) fresh coffee, tea, water and juices.
Staff were polite and spoke English.
Location was ideal. A few minutes walk from the square and just around the corner from the big new shopping centre.
