| said: I am a travel agent and have to say thet this holiday was the BEST holiday I have ever been on!!! Ignore all the other comments. The food was lovely, but a little repetative but what do you expect at an all inclusive. The staff were soo friendly. We got on with everyone of them and cannot say one bad thing.
The entertainment was brilliant. It was on throughout the day and night and varied daily.
We loved it that much that we are going back in September 08 and June 09!!

| said: We stayed in hotel sol sharm which was located out in the sticks, very secluded area surrounded by unfinished buildings. A daily bus service is provided into narma bay and old sharm.
Upon arival we were given no welcome pack and were not shown to our room, we found that the staff were not helpful which left us to figure out where to go and what to do by ourselves!
The entertainment that was out on was more for italians and russians! There was no entertainment in the day and is certainly not a place for kids!
We went all inclusive but ended up purchasing food in between meal times as the food was the same everyday! We went on nan excursion which resulted in us missing out on lunch and the staff didn't cater for us when we arrived back at the hotel.
The flies in Egypt were a real problem, this affected our sunbathing so we spent most of our time shopping and walking around.
Overall I would not visit this part of Egypt (sharks bay) again, Narma bay or Nabq would be my first choice next time!

| said: my partner debbie and my self both stayed at the hotel sol sharm in sharks bay in june 2007.
we enjoyed the holiday very much and have re booked for june 2008.
we made many friends not only with fellow holiday makers but with the staff at the hotel, this is the main reason for going back
all the staff were superb and could not do enough for us and we intend to take the gifts to show our appreciation of the way they treated us.
sure the food could be the same old same old but there was enough choice to eat different things most days.
we would recomend the hotel if you wished for a quiet and relaxing holiday,

| said: My wife and myself stayed at the Sol Sharm Hotel for our first visit to Egypt, for one week, all inclusive.
The hotel/ pools were kept spotless, rooms were cleaned everyday. There was a good selection of food - starters choice of two soups, main course - beef, chicken, fish and pasta which were served slightly different each day and always a selection of cold meats & salads, mashed/baked potato, afters - a selection of cakes, mousses and fruit.
But talking to other guests who had been for two weeks said it was a bit monotonous.
As with all hotels in this area, there is not a lot to do off the hotel, you would have to get the hotel transfer taxi or arrange for a taxi to take you to Nama bay which is about 20 minutes away.
Which brings me to the hotel entertainment. During the day there is the entertainment round the main pool area pretty much the same everyday, Aerobics, water polo and generally just messing about. (We spent most of our time by the smaller pool where it was much quieter and more relaxing).
The evening entertainment was either at the Aida Bar (which was the one bar not included in the All Inclusive deal which meant that you had to get up from your seat and go to one of the All Inclusive bars and then carry your drinks back to the Aida Bar) which was Mr & Mrs, Karaoke or a quiz or at the Amphitheatre which was part of the All Inclusive deal, where the big shows were put on.
Overall, yes I would visit this hotel again. The staff were so friendly. Please be aware that this hotel does not only cater for the British, other nationalities include Egyptian, Italians & Germans to name a few, but do not let this put you off, the other nationalities we spoke to were very friendly as well.

| said: My husband and I stayed at the Sol Sharm Hotel which is in Sharks Bay.
This was our first visit to Egypt so we didn't really know what to expect.
When we arrived at the hotel we were really surprised at how lovely it was an so clean. The rooms were of a good size an spotless and were kept like that for the two weeks we stayed.
The hotel was a little bit away from the main resort Namma Bay but that wasn't a problem as the hotel runs a bus three times a day there or you can easily get a taxi.
The staff at the hotel were very pleasant and spoke good English an the entertainment staff were very freindly and tried to include everyone in the fun especially at the pool area.
We found the hotel really lovely an we are planing to go back again next year. We will try and book the same hotel because we enjoyed it so much.
