| said: We booked this accommodation on the strength of reviews on another holiday information site and were not disappointed with the cleanliness and standard of accommodation. The studios are clean and the self-catering equipment is sufficient for making breakfast,hot drinks, snacks etc. However, if you intend to produce more than a fry-up or boil some pasta you may be in trouble!
The studios are run by Carol (from Scotland) and her Greek husband, Vassilis who is a real character. The music played at their pool bar is without doubt the best I have heard - laid back with a 60's feel.
The swimming pool is very nice (although quite cold when we were there) and always plenty of sunbeds available.
Our only gripe about the holiday is the noise. The studios are located just off the main road that circles the island and if you are in Studios 1 - 5 (we were in 1) the lorries that take the blocks of marble from the quarry to the ferry trundle along within yards of the studio and turn down one of the main roads to the ferry! Don't expect lay-ins in the morning with that noise!!
Although we were happy with the studios and facilities we would not stay there again unless we could be assured we would not be in the accommodation facing the road.
