The villas are designed to cater for two couples or a family of four but when we were there we had the villa to ourselves as did many others in the complex. The villas are lovely and very clean with under floor heating which after a long day on the slopes was something to look forward to!!
The Villas themselves are within a 3-4min walk to the slopes and the ski hire so you don't have to rely on transport and can have a hot chocolate and crepe in the outdoor eateries after the slopes close.
The food in the hotel is ok if you like a hot buffet of hearty foods. The waiters are very friendly and welcoming.
Evening entertainment is lacking and as the town is too far to walk the only way is by taxi. The reception has a taxi on call all day and he charges 10 euro to get to the town which is cheap compared to how much the taxis in the town try to charge but barter with them and you will get cheaper fare. In the local town there are few clubs and pubs, some lovely restaurants and an underground shopping centre.
If your after a nice peaceful setting within log cabins and forests Malina is perfect but if you are after a hectic nightlife then be prepared to pay for taxis or a rent-a-car!
