| said: The hotel was spotless,no cause for any complaints, room service was about the best I've come across.
The choice of food in the main restaurant was wide and varied catering for all tastes and of a very high standard, buffet style, dress code casual but smart
(no shorts).
The speciality restaurant is well worth a visit waitress/waiter services right next to the larger swimming pool. The staff were great, always a smile and ready to help if needed(look out for Herberto in the restaurant, he's a gem).
Location, great for the beach 100 yrds from the start of the dunes,if you are into shopping forget it. Entertainment was ok mostly German.
This is a couples hotel, not many children to be seen. The beauty spa was somthing special (atleast thats what my wife says)covering reflexology, hot stones massage etc.
A really great hotel worth a visit.

| said: We were made to feel special from the moment we arrived. The General Manager is seen around all the time, meeting and greeting in the restaurant, around the pool and even remembers the names of guests, impressive considering that the hotel was full when we were there!
Our rooms were immaculate, although not the most spacious, with fresh flowers, fruit and wine on arrival. The single room we booked was in fact a twin and enjoyed a spectacular side sea view over the dunes without the supplement we paid for our other twin room. That said the full seaview was breathtaking, a desert combined with the sea!
All waiting staff were very attentive in the restaurants, bars and around the pools. The waterbeds in the smaller pool proved very popular with my teenage daughter. Pool staff carried our mattresses to the plentiful sunbeds and laid out our towels too. Try the delicious strawberry icecream sundaes available from the snack bar here.
Food was of a good quality considering the numbers that were catered for and the waiter-served main course option a lovely touch. The hot desserts served with liqueurs a firm favourite with me.
There was a mix of nationalities around and although not a problem to us, we were outnumbered by the Germans and there were few English teens for mine to mix with. One thing we were not prepared for was the number of gay couples around, they even had their own boutique in the hotel's shopping area and a gay sauna signposted outside the hotel, but hey we love people watching ;-)
The sand dunes provide a great method of exercise and were tremendous to run up and body board down, take a bottle of water and suncream though as they are a real sun trap. The resort of Maspalomas is about a 30 minute walk along the beach and can be interesting as you do pass through the naturist area en route, much to the surprise of the kids, they insisted on a taxi for the return journey that cost a mere 5 euros.
Entertainment is fairly low key but there is a cabaret in the bar most nights and a good variety of acts that should appeal to most tastes accompanied by a band that play until around 1am for dancing.
Overall a fabulous holiday that sent us home fully relaxed and recharged.
