Just got back from a two week stay at the Oriental. Staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, and maid cleaned the room everyday and was always really friendly. Hotel was excellent. Don’t go here though if you are under 40! It is very quiet at the hotel, there was live entertainment I think 2 or 3 times a week, we went once and it was just a man singing (although he was very good) but there were only about three older couples watching him which I found a bit embarrassing for him. There are loads of other places to find entertainment and a lot of people went to the hotel Jupiter as there was always something going off there. Loads of restaurants and pubs nearby, so it didn’t bother us as we prefer quieter places with loads to do if you feel like it. We were there 2 weeks and went to a different restaurant every single night, and we still haven’t been to them all, too much to choose from! A lot of other sites have raved about the Titanic restaurant, we went and it was excellent, but we didn’t go to any that weren’t really, Sitting Bull was also at the top of the list. The breakfast was continental buffet style – loads of toast, croissants, jams, marmalade, butter, cereals, fresh juice, tea, coffee, cheese, ham loads of fruit etc. They had a warm selection as well which alternated in one day- scrambled eggs, beans, bacon and the next day scrambled eggs, boiled ages, little sausages and tomatoes. It was great for the first week but got very boring so we had one day we didn’t have anything and one day we went out to a restaurant. All in all had a fantastic time, weather brilliant, hotel very quiet but lovely, gorgeous beach just down a few steps (never seen one as big always looked empty even though it wasn’t), Don’t go if you want the night life though (which we didn’t) really enjoyed ourselves!

We will be holidaying at this hotel again this year.We had a wonderful holiday here last time. The welcome was very friendly and we were taken to our room straight away. All the rooms have gorgeous beach and sea views. The rooms are also very clean and spacious with air conditioning and although its a hotel there is a lovely little kithenette with fridge. Bathroom have double basins and good shower and bath. Breakfasts were good with plenty of choice.

The hotel staff were very helpful and cleaning staff very good.

Pool was small and immaculate. Large garden at side with ample sunbeds as well as round pool.

Best of all it just a few steps to go down to fantastic beach. Near to all restaurants and bars but not noisy at night.

The only down side is very little evening entertainment, bar on quiet side. But hotel is in centre of resort so no problem finding somewhere to eat and drink.
