Just returned from the Jaz Mirabel Beach complex in the early hours of this morning and thank God we are home. Its all superficial is all i can say, it looks superb and it is very clean and tidy but OMG the food is nothing short of appalling. We booked through Portland Direct and paid in excess of £1500 for the two of us for one week All Inclusive. This was a big mistake we should have booked to return to the Maldives where we had been in March of this year. Now that is exclusivity and nearly the same price.
Prior to leaving a work colleague had visited this hotel two weeks before we were due to go, his reports weren't filling me with confidence before we left. Apart from the coach driver at the airport virtually demanding a tip before putting the cases into the mini bus this was probably the only time we got hassled for tipping. Saying that, i didn't feel safe & secure enough to leave the hotel grounds for the week of our stay. Reports from other hotel guests weren't helping either as we were told of bags and wallets etc going missing on trips into the local areas.

The holiday was supposed to be All Inclusive, this is not the case. There are 5 rest two of them are included in your package. The other three are Italian, Asian & Lebanese themed. I never used any of these as we were getting mixed reviews from other guests and due to the fact that the cost was £60 per couple per night for a 3 course meal to use them. This isn't what I class as all inclusive. So we stuck to the canteens (that’s all they were) that were included. One of which wouldn’t allow men in with shorts on, although the women walked around with very little on indeed, double standards? The choice of food was atrocious, we were advised not to eat anything that wasn’t fully cooked (why would there be anything?) so i kept away from the salads for obvious reasons. The bread was very stale and dry and no-one seemed to use the cloth to hold the bread to cut it. I stayed away from the soup as we were warned to avoid any water that wasn’t bottled and couldn’t guarantee where this had come from. So this left the hot food selection. Each and every night of our stay consisted of the following Claggy white rice in a warming tray, 1 beef dish (one night it was in a creamy white leak sauce that looked disgusting), sautéed vegetables, 1 chicken dish (this had melted cheese on one occasion), mashed potato that you could have drunk through a straw, and 1 fish dish. There were two Chefs!? cooking food along the rear wall of the restaurant (sorry, Canteen!) and this sometimes consisted of deep fried small fish bites in batter or the vegetarian option of pasta with a bland tomato sauce.

The breakfast was about the only edible meal we could eat, the usual array of cereals was on offer but the integrity of the milk was just too much of a put off. So my Wife had toast and juice while i had two freshly cooked eggs with beans and some small sausages. The eggs were superb and the guy that cooked them was the nicest genuine person I spoke to all week, thanks. The pastries that were available were just recycled from the night before although the croissants from time to time were edible. The coffee/tea situation was nothing more than comical. The waiters are constantly walking around wanting to top up your cup at every possible moment. The only problem being there isn’t enough cups to go around, this is at a time when the canteen was only a quarter full. On more than one occasion I visited the coffee/tea station to find no cups, no sugar or no spoons. I was stirring my coffee with the handle of a desert spoon most of the holiday.

The lunchtime menu was just as inviting to the point where we stopped going and started using the poolside snack bars, if it weren't for the margherita pizza's on offer i'm sure my Wife would have starved.

I know i'm painting a desperately disappointing picture here but this is the worse parts of our holiday, the hotel infrastructure and cleanliness is superb but this lets itself down far too easily. I believe there are three things that need to be right to have a fantastic time and they are good hotel room etc, good weather & good food and we missed out on one of those three.

Some people will be reading this thinking "What a Victor Meldrew" etc but in a previous life i spent 5 days a week driving a car transporter around England, Scotland & Wales eating in some of the best & the worse cafes this country has to offer and i can honestly say that if this were a cafe I would never call again.

To top off the final day of our week we elected to pay to keep the room longer until our coach arrived for the transfer back to the airport, we enquired at reception as to how much this would be and was told £71 for the 6 hours we needed it, we reluctantly paid this so as we had a toilet and showers available when we needed them. Believe me after eating here all week you won’t want to be too far from the toilets. The hotel decided to turn off our room cards after we should have originally booked out so I walked the distance back to the reception to get them turned on again. This took some explaining as my receipt for the room was in the safe in the room I couldn’t get into! Cards now reactivated I walked the long distance back to the room only to find that they didn’t work, so back again i went. Cards reactivated AGAIN I went back to find the cleaner in out room cleaning it out ready for the next guests, I tried my best to explain that we had paid to keep the room until 6pm but this wasn’t working. So for the next 15 minutes we shared our room with the cleaner.

We definitely aren't snobs and normally go with the flow of what life throws at us but this is no 5 star hotel, we stayed in the Maldives at Hudhuranfushi which is only supposed to be 3 star, i think, and it blew the socks off this place.

So all i can say is from my experience do yourself a favour and book somewhere else, and if it were me that wouldn't be Egypt.

We went All Inclusive for 11 nights during the Easter holidays. Our party were aged 6,36,38,71.
Fantastic variety of food....Rice, Pasta, various Potatoes (chips, boiled, mashed, roast), various veg (carrots, suede, peas, courgettes, greenbeans, cabbage, sweetcorn)Various meats (steak, chicken, meatballs, beef, sausages, burgers) Fish & even fish & chips. Various breads. Gorgeous sweets, that actually not only looked good, tasted fantastic...something for everyone.......even the picky!!!
Very clean, spacious, rooms with fantastic walk in showers. Massive, well maintained complex with friendly staff. Fantastic pools & water slides. Entertainment was a bit samey but I find that everywhere!!

Brilliant snorkelling, sea is about knee high for about 1 mile out & really clear so you can see loads.

I would highly reccommend this hotel & we're thinking about booking again for next Easter. Don't let any negative reviews bother you. We didn't have any problems at all. In short, if you've booked to go here...you'll love it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hotel stands in beautiful grounds with stunning views, rooms spacious, plenty of sun beds with shaded areas, pools really lovely but only one heated the others are very cold. Food very poor in main restaurants, snack bars were fine. Cracked and chipped crockery in main restaurant, run out of cups half an hour after starting breakfast, wine served with evening meal was in a tumbler! Tables not cleared quicker enough and staff not very friendly.

I stayed at this complex for two weeks on an All Inclusive basis with a friend. The complex itself is out of this world in its grandeur - it is absolutely huge! We received welcome drinks on arrival and as soon as we got there the concierge were on hand to take our luggage off to our room on the buggies (although it is expected to tip them). The rooms are very spacious and have a separate lounge too. The bathroom, especially the shower, were very large.

There is plenty of space to sunbathe around the many swimming pools, no matter what time of day it was. Obviously because of the heat (+40 degrees every day), the beds in the shade were taken first, but the hotel's private beach always had shady sunbeds available. It was actually so hot that the sun melted my reading books round the pool! Sometimes the beach was actually better as it was deserted and was lovely and peaceful and you could always get drinks from the beach bar a few steps away. The sea was absolutely breathtaking but sandals are advisable as the coral is very hard underfoot. The hotel shops sold these very cheaply. The sea was crystal clear and like a bath! Is is extremely safe for children as you could walk out for about 15 minutes and still only be up to your knees in the water. Camels and horses sat on our beach too, but I think these were there for those who wished to pay for a ride.

The entertainment round the pool is repetitive, but doesn't interfere with you. If you want to just relax on your sunbed and do nothing, you can and the reps leave you alone. The reps are very enthusiastic when it came to playing games with the children staying in our complex.

The hotel provides free towels on a daily basis for around pool or the beach, but it is advisable to collect these early otherwise they might run out; they didn't seem to have enough for everyone in the hotel as we only managed to get a towel once our entire fortnight's stay.

The waiters (all male in our complex) were constantly coming round the sunbeds on the beach collecting empty glasses, so the beach was always immaculate.

The hotel held a beach party twice a week which was good fun.

The hotel hosts its own "market" which is made up of many different types of shops - there is quite a wide selection and all the shops took both Egyptian Pounds and Sterling.

Both myself and my friend got bitten by mosquitoes so it is advisable to take repellent and use it every day; even if you do not sunbathe I would still advise to use a cream that has repellent in it, just in case. We had to see the doctor while we were there and we both had to pay approximately 80 Euros each for a doctor's visit and medication. We found the medication to be quite expensive, so be warned. A packet of paracetamol was almost £5 in the pharmacy, so make sure you take plenty with you.

Their is constant 24 hour security at the hotel which you might seem is a little OTT, but I found it very reassuring. There are men on the main hotel entrance, as are men patrolling the private beach and around the hotel grounds in general.

The food in the buffet restaurants left little to the imagination and became very repetitive and bland. We tended to have a big lunch (as the food was better at lunch time) and just have something small at night. We went to one of the a la carte restaurants in our hotel and the food was delicious and service was great. The waiters could not do enough for us. The restaurants aren't expensive either, so if you wanted to eat here a few times then it wouldn't cost much at all. A big down-side for the buffet restaurant food is if you take children to this hotel. My friend and I managed to get by, but there is nothing like chicken nuggets, baked beans, jacket potatoes etc, so they might find the food not quite to their liking.

The hotel itself is spotless - the cleaners are constantly working round the hotel 24/7, polishing floors, mowing the lawn, clipping trees etc, even though the hotel was spotless!! We even saw a man painting the floor tiles by candle-light one evening! They really do take pride in their work.

The entertainment was OK, but we found that a lot of the time it was catered for the italians (there were a lot of these in our complex and it became extremely noisy!)

We only left the complex twice our entire stay. We went to Cleopark (the waterpark) which is a must, and we went to Hard Rock Cafe and Pacha which are both in Na'ama Bay. The food in Hard Rock is delicious and is excellent value for money, and the restaurant became a disco at midnight for those who wanted to stay out later. I would advise that you get a return cab organised through the concierge at the hotel rather than try to haggle for a local cab. The hotel cabs are dearer, but they are more comfortable, the driver's are friendly and are a lot safer. We used this service to and from the waterpark and the driver picked us up at the exact time we wanted.

A big disappointment was that when we booked this holiday we were told by the Thomson Rep that because we were staying in the Platinum hotel we could use the facilities of the Park and Club free of charge (including food and drinks), but they had to pay to drink or eat in our hotel. We found this not to be true. We tried to get a drink in one of the other hotels and we were told we had to pay, but we saw guests from the other hotels using our restaurants for free. This was a pain as we had been told something completely different about this.

Neither of us were ill as such, but we did get dodgy tummies and needed the loo a lot. I don't think this had anything to do with the food, but more like the intense heat and the amount of bottled water we drank each day to try and keep us hydrated. The majority of other people we spoke to at the hotel were in a similar situation.

Overall, a good hotel. I don't think it warrants it's 5* status (I think it should get 4*), but the beach certainly stands it in good stead.

Jaz Mirabel Beach was lovely, we went at the start of the summer so it was extremely hot and dry so probably not good for those with sun sensitivity as I was wearing factor 50 and still managed to get slightly burnt some days!

Mirabel Beach is slightly more costly than the other two Mirabel's (Club and Park being the other two) but it is worth it. As the hotel is relatively new it is very clean and well maintained.
I particularly liked the large showers and mirrors in the bathrooms.

The staff are very friendly and are often trying to joke around with you which makes it all seem very welcoming.

The food is OK, nothing special but it depends on which day you go to - they have different themes each night. The breakfasts are nice, they have a variety of fruit, bread and jams as well as the usual cereals (although i did find the milk was slightly warm but the jam and croissants were lovely!)

I'm not sure whether it was the time of year we went (June) but the place seemed almost empty which was excellent! It made the place quiet and peacfull and there were always plenty of sun beds to go around.

The hotel has shops of its own so theres no need to go outside of the hotel other than for activities, which there were plenty to book. We did the Red Sea snorkling and dinner under the stars which were both fantastic! Although I don't recommend the quad bikes.

Overall it's a lovely place to go and I would definately recommened it.

On arrival to the Jaz Mirabel Beach, we were suprised to be told to check in at reception and to leave our luggage outside. After walking through a pointless metal detector that beeped at everyone, we checked in easily and then were pointed in the direction of the beach with a map. After a confusing walk around the different blocks we finally found our room. Once in our room we were pleased with our choice. Our room was large and spotless, with 1 king size bed and 2 single beds, good storage space and spacious bathroom with huge walk in shower! Just one thing missing, our luggage! We then sat in our room watching tv for at least 40 minutes before a happy porter dropped off our cases. Dont be put off by this, I just think it is part of the 5 star service!
There is a mini bar in your room, but dont use it as you can get the same thing in the bars for free.

The rest of the hotel was equally as clean and the pool areas are huge with plenty of sunbeds. No need to get out of bed at the crack of dawn to reserve one!

Our evening meal that night was fine, a good selection of well cooked, hot food, an interesting salad bar, pasta bar and wide range of desserts. However by the third night we were bored by the same repetitve menu. For example oriental night included rice and a beef in sauce, then italian night also included rice and a very similar beef in sauce. This theme continued for the next 11 days! Veal also happens to be their choice of meat almost every night. The restaurant was very clean, and as the hotel wasn't full, it was easy to go and choose your food without too many qeues. Helpful waiters cleared away our plates and took orders for our drinks, that came to the table quickly. Towards the end of our holiday the hotel did start to fill up, and they did struggle to clear plates straight away, and drinks took a little while longer. There was also a bit of confusion over the dress code for the restaurant for evening meal. On our first night my husband wore shorts that came just below his knees, the next night he was told we couldn't sit inside the restaurant, even though the shorts were similar to the previous nights. He decided to wear his trousers every night after that, just so we could sit inside as it was air conditoned. However we continued to see other men in shorts using the restaurant for the remainder of our holiday???!
There are a few choices of where to eat your lunch, either in the main restaurant or in 2 other snack bars around the pool areas.

The hotel is situated about 25 minutes from Naama Bay, but we knew this and didn't mind being more out of town. The shuttle bus was the best way to get into Naama Bay, and worked out to about £7.00 return for 2 of us. Book at reception the day before you want it as places do fill up quickly. You must be at the return pick up point on time as the driver doesn't wait around, as we found out!! Taxi's are more expensive and you must haggle for a price, which is intimdating when 6 egyptian men are stood around you! But it's part of the culture to haggle, so stand firm!

99% of the staff at the Mirabel Beach are very helpful and friendly, and will do anything to help and make your stay more enjoyable.

The entertainment at the Mirabel Beach was basic but compares in likeness to all other animation teams I have seen on previous holidays. Daily activities included aqua aerobics, water polo and football. Evening entertainment was a little bit more tacky and consisted of Mr and Mrs and somehting called 'The crazy show', but we never did go and watch. Occasionally there would be a singer performing in the outdoor bar areas! If you are after a more lively atmosphere I would suggest that you stay nearer Naama Bay.

For internet access you hire a laptop from reception and a card with password. 30 minutes of use was about £4.50.

Overall we had a fantastic relaxing holiday, in beautiful surroundings, (the pool areas are lovely), and I would definately recommend this hotel. It is ideal for couples and families, and we would consider a return visit.

The hotel itself was very well presented, clean and modern with the biggest shower I have ever had abroad. The male maid could not do enough for you and delighted the children with his constant towel sculptures in the room.

The three hotels on this complex "Club, Park and Beach" whilst all are on the same grounds which are all accessable you cannot use the drinks or dining facilities other than your specified hotel, unless your italian.

The food is a bit hit and miss, The guy doing the eggs at breakfast and the snack bar in the afternoon gets my nomination for all round top guy, polie and always has a smile and a good chef to boot. The childrens menu was sometimes more of a draw than the main offering in the afternoon and evening, but the freshly cooked pasta bar is ever there to bail you out. Some of the waiters try really hard but they are up against it, and you do feel they need a bit more direction from their managers. Point to make for guys or girls who like an ice cold beer, you can only get this from the restaraunt between lunch and at dinner, the other bars will have bottles that are just left on the side or they have been in the fridge a short while.
They always seemed to run out of things and did not appear to make much effort in sorting it out, basic things like cups, glasses, plates, and even to a point where the pool bar guy asked you to bring your own glasses back or you would end up with the throw away plastic cups.

Entertainment, Non existant, cheesy German kids trying to emulate steps the pop group, but they looked like they were enjoying themselves, all they seem to do is run after one another around the pool and when they was not doing that they were doing really naf games, (Throwing a ball in a bucket) Highlight of my day!!!!

Do not take the water from the mini bar in the room, this is the same water you get accross the bar, same bottle same make, they will try to charge you for the water out of the mini bar, you have been warned.

This hotel could be really nice, they have some work to do to make it worthy of a return.

I will return to Sharm but at another hotel endorsed by others.

This hotel was lovely, very big and clean. We found the food plentiful and variable. I am quite a fussy eater but i found something at each mealtime. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Plenty of sun loungers, the beach was ok (not a sandy beach) you need to have beach shoes to go into the sea.
There is no jetty and coral reef at this hotel, so not much fish to see. Although there is a wreck further out to snorkel on but it is a long walk out.
The entertainment is ok, there are singers most nights and beach parties twice weekly.
Don't think we will stay there again but that's because we like to try other places.
I would recommend this hotel, but i can honestly say we have never stayed anywhere in Sharm el Sheikh as WINDY but it was quite nice as it made it bearable to sunbathe without getting too hot!

This was a last minute break for my husband and i to have a rest, a rest is what we got. The hotel staff are so frendly and welcoming. The rooms are cleaned dailey to a high standard and very big. The resturant staff are very busy and some evenings rushed off there feet, a few evenings we had eaten our meal before we received our drinks.
The food was a little boring, but eatable with no problems, the snack bars catered for all ages and was very nice.

The hotel is situated on the beach, so it was a walk past the 2 pools and straight on the beach.

The hotel bar staff are very friendly and remember your drink and bring it across as soon as you sit down.

We stayed on all inclusive basis and would describe the two restaurants as similar to Mcdonalds on a Saturday afternoon. The food was varied but due to the hotel being fully booked there were queues of people most of the time. In the end I gave up the breakfast as could not be bothered putting the body armour on to fight my way through the toast making exercise.

There are four bars on site but only two served food at certain times and the menu is standard. Pizza, burger, tuna roll and something described as beef that wasn't.

The beer is drinkable but the vodka was definitely suspect and tasted different in every bar.

We found the cleanliness to be of a height standard. We had two family rooms which opened out onto the gardens we had a couple of things taken off the patio table when we were in the room and a couple of small things went out of the room whilst we were out.

The rooms have a huge double bed, (very comfortable), but only two small mattresses placed on concrete for the other two guests....would only be suitable for small children. The lighting around the site in the evening we found to be poor and the flooring is all one colour which made it difficult to see the steps....and there are many....no good if you have walking difficulties.

The hotel is way out if you want to visit Naama Bay.....it takes about half an hour in a taxi...depending how fast they go....only went out twice as the first time the taxi driver was texting on his mobile whilst driving and the second time the driver lit up a spliff.....not recommended whilst driving.

The hotel provides a shuttle bus but we never tried that as the times did not suit. The staff in the outside bars were very good but whenever we tried to see the reception staff the queues were too big and as I've said I don't do queues!

This complex is a bit like Butlins in relation to entertainment....from 11am they started with aqua aerobics and went on throughout the day did see adverts for Bingo and Miss Mirabelle competitions...needless to say we didn't participate as we were too busy trying to find drinkable vodka!!

Would not go back to this hotel as we feel we are not all inclusive people and did not get our money's worth also felt its too far from Naama Bay.

The hotel is very nice the rooms are clean and well kept.

We were very disappointed with the food in the resturants the pool snack bars were fine and ofered a nice selection of fast food. The a la carte food on the other hand was very good we ate at the italian and the chinesse and these were equally of excellent standard.

If the resturants were of that standard then they would deserve the 5 star status, as it is i would say this is 4 star (just).

The pools are very nice and warm and my daughter really enjoyed the fact the they are heated.

The staff at the hotel are very nice and we couldn't fault them on the service the supplied.

The entertainment is not the best but I have heard worse.

I wouldn't visit this hotel again because I very rarely do go back unless it is of extreme quality.

Visited this hotel for a week and glad it was only for a week it had some plus points though.

Hotel was very clean throughout and gardens very well kept however it is in a very quiet location.

The food was of a very poor choices and not always warm and a few guests had tummy upsets.

The rooms were kept to a high standard.

The evenings draw dark about 4.30pm so went for evening meal early which made the nights long and entertainment was the poorest we have seen.

On journey home the airport is just utter chaos and has a long way to go to make it comfortable I am not surprised my case is lost! And maybe not even loaded at sharm all in all not even worth the 450.00 we paid each.

We booked this hotel for our honeymoon and after reading other peoples reviews we were a little apprehensive to say the least, but I can honestly say that we were worrying for nothing as it was far beyond our expectations, it was fantastic.

Reception area was out of this world just like walking into a palace.

Our room was really large with an enormous double bed and a fantastic walk in shower, sheets and towels were changed daily. Sculptures made from towels were left by the cleaners and even a vase of flowers on one occasion, what a nice touch!

Food was very good and always plentiful.

Staff were very friendly and helpful always ensuring you had a drink, even when you didn't want one.

Entertainment was a little to be desired but if you only want peace and quiet, like we did, then there are plenty of areas where you can have your drink in peace.

This hotel is in a very quiet area with not alot to do in the immediate vicinity outside the hotel but there are plenty of excursions you can do if you are looking for a more active holiday. There is also a shuttle bus provided by the hotel which goes into Naarma bay several times during the day. would we visit these hotel again? Most definitely yes.

The cleanliness was excellent - not a piece of dust in sight. The staff were constantly cleaning, if a drink was spilled it was cleaned up straight away. Rooms very spacious and relaxing.

The food was very good - some of which was cooked from fresh - e.g. pasta dishes, eggs for breakfast, good selection of carvery every night, turkey, beef, lamb etc, as well as local dishes. Salads made as you required them.

Location 15 minutes from airport, taxi or bus ride 15 mins away from Nama bay. Supermarket 2 minutes walk away. Snorkelling in local bay 10 minutes walk away

Hotel staff - extremely friendly, very professional.

Entertainment - could be improved, however no too bad.

We would certainly recommend and visit again.

The Mirabel beach hotel is a fantastic hotel if you want a relaxing holiday. all areas were spotless, all the time. It is very impressive throughout the whole complex.

We paid for a seaview room but were told before we arrived that there were no full seaview rooms at the hotel. we ended up with a pool view which is a limited seaview, but not really worth paying extra for.

The rooms were lovely and quite big for 2 people, although it was a family room.

The food was good, always hot and plenty of choice.

The restaurant and bar staff were always very friendly and helpful. It was very rare to see people waiting for drinks as the waiter service was very quick. We sometimes had drinks lined up on our table because the waiters brought them before we had even ordered our next one.

The entertainment was not what you would expect of a five star hotel. it consisted of 2 singers who were ok after a few drinks. We didn't go the the amphitheatre as it didn't have a bar.

Overall we enjoyed our holiday and would definitely go back. If you want a relaxing break then this is the place for you

We read a lot of bad reports on this hotel resort and were quite concerned that we had made a big mistake booking this holiday before looking at the feed back. But when we arrived, we were most surprised, the Hotel is beautiful, and it is set on a complex, which is visually stunning, all new and very clean.

All the staff are polite and very well dressed, they go out of their way to please you. We booked all-inclusive and found the food and drinks of excellent standard, pool, sun beds, and towels - first class.

Bars and seating areas, the same. We were informed that we should only take euros, but this was not true – take Egyptian Pounds, they accept them any where on the complex. The hotel beach is quite large, although a 6 or 7 minute walk, clean sand, beach bar, plenty of sun beds although a long walk out to go snorkeling. The rooms were quite big with pool views, TV and fridge.

There is not much shopping to be had around the Hotel but a bus service runs regularly to Naama Bay, which has plenty of shops. Entertainment was of the local type, but if you just want to relax and chill out this is a great place, we would certainly go back again.

The hotel was within 15 minutes of the airport (which is good if you have children). However, once at the hotel, there is nothing outside of the hotel, but what would you expect, you are in the middle of the desert. But saying that, once you are within the hotel complex you don't need to go outside except for daytrips.

The hotel is extremely clean and the rooms are kept to a high standard that you would expect from your holiday.

The food was fine, there was plenty of choice and if you didn't fancy what they had on offer, spag bol was always on offer. Oh and the chocolate cake is to die for!!

The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. They always made a fuss of the children.

There wasn't much entertainment in the evening. Having two young children we found ourselves doing the childrens disco every night for 30 minutes then going for a drink.

During the day our eldest went to Kids club and loved it, and made friends, so by the end of our holiday we found ourselves having a drink with there parents while the children played!

We are going to book and go back next year (my youngest we also be old enough to go to the kids club as well) as we had a fantastic relaxing holiday in the sun.

We have just returned from a week in the jaz mirabel beach resort and have came back very relaxed and rested, the resort is in Nabq bay only 15 Min's from the airport and about 35mins from Naama.

You have everything you need in the resort if you didn't want to leave hotel but should you wish the hotel runs a shuttle bus throughout the day in to Naama bay.

The food is buffet style with something to suit everyone but I would say that it is more German based, we had a very nice waiter who made a pot of hot chocolate every morning when I explained that I did not like coffee.

The location of the hotel as I said is 15 Min's away from the airport and has its own beach but you do have a long walk out to the deeper water you can use the jetty from the hotel next door at no cost, even better if you enjoy seeing fish there is a small bay about 10-15min walk, just head to the beach and turn left through the next hotel to a path that will take you through a new hotel that is being built there you will find the bay, you can see a wide range of fish and some in very shallow water so ideal for children.

The hotel staff are very polite and helpful but we did find the bar service a bit slow in the evening.

Entertainment is bad a couple singing at night the same songs over and over again they do have a theatre but was told that it was better to have a few drinks first to get you through it so we gave it a miss.

With being all inclusive you can go to the sister hotel next door (mirabel park) where they have water flumes for kids big and small. In the mirabel beach you also have tennis courts, spa and gym so you can get plenty of rest and play if you like.

The only complaint I have is that it was a very bad bed, nails hammered in squint to the base so you only had to look at the bed and it made a racket but having a good shower in the bathroom helped make up for it.

New Years Eve was brilliant, they really made a big effort.

Hotel staff could'nt do enough for you, we paid Portland for a sea view room, and when we arrived we didnt have one! We complained to reception and within 30 mins we and our luggage had been moved to a wonderful sea view room.

The snorkelling was fantastic with just a 10 min walk along the beach, there were so many all in different colours. It is the last but one hotel fron Naama bay so is quite isolated, but the hotel run a mini bus for 5 euros.

The entertainment is very low key, it would have been better if a pool bar was open at night.

Food choice was very good, the 2 restaurants were smaller so it didnt feel like a canteen, and the staff were very attentive, always bringing drinks to the table, though had a few mornings where we had to chase after the tea and coffee!

Overall we had a great time and would recommend this hotel.

The cleanliness of this hotel was great.

The food was good plenty of choice for the adults not much for children which was a bit dissapointing as I have two young children the only thing they had in the main restaurants was chips and spag bol, in the snack bars during the days they did have pizza which my children enjoyed.

The hotel staff couldn't do enough for you and were always pleasent

Didn't do any of the entertainment so can't really comment

Evan though there wasn't much food choice for the children I would definitely vist again

The Hotel Mirabel Beach is a new hotel the staff are so helpful and can not do enough for you, you will always see the staff cleaning the hotel day and night.

The rooms were great we stayed in a family room which was very spacious, the only problem was there are no lifts so you have to carry the pushchair up the stairs if you have one.

The food was very good there was always a wide choice of dishes the dining room is very modern and spacious and you can also eat outside at the main restaurant, the other snack bars around the hotel are also good.

The hotel is situated in a newly developed area with nothing outside the hotel complex, is was easy enough to get into nama bay by local taxi or the hotel bus.

The hotel has a small shopping centre and a 24hr supermarket having been into nama bay the hotel shops prices are very similar with a nice selection of jewelery shops.

My children are young so the kids entertainers were great but there is not a great deal gor teenagers to do. the beach was ok but as there is no jetty the walk into the sea to where you can snorkel was really long.

We did,nt go to the evening entertainment so can't comment the lounge bar had live singers most nights and was nice for a drink after dinner again with lots of space and different areas to sit in.

On the whole I would reccommend this hotel and would visit it again.
