| said: The hotel was very clean the maid was excellent she was very friendly and helpful.
It was about 15 minutes away from the centre which wasn't too bad.
The entertainment was ok but should have been on more nights.
The pool area was very nice but we only got to sit out there 3 days out of 7 as the weather was overcast on the other 4 days and sometimes cold.
I would go again but not in January as I thought the weather would be better.

| said: We stayed 17-31 december, on arrival we were greeted by a good english speaking receptionist. The apartments are well cleaned, the maids were practically in every day either to clean or change the towels.
The location is about 10 - 15 minutes walk to the main part of the town centre, you could have a buffet breakfast for 7 euros an adult, a good selection of food but the hot food tended to be on the cool side.
The pool areas were tidy , if you wanted a sunlounger you had to be out at 8 am to grab one,the pool bar served food as well as drinks, not too badly priced.

| said: Apartments very clean, plenty of room ,basic cooking equipment.
Nice balcony overlooking pool area, food at pool bar ok. Location a bit out of way,for less mobile, about 10-15 minutes walk to town centre.
Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. 24 hour reception, gardens very picturesque, and pool area always kept tidy and very clean. Small supermarket on complex quite well stocked and handy but much cheaper at larger stores.
Would definitely recommend these apartments.

| said: This is our second year at the Bristol Playa. We were concerned last year because it had just been refitted and re opened. We shouldn't have worried.
From the moment we arrived at the hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was one of the cleanest we have ever been to and the facilities - whilst not appealing to teenagers I would imagine- certainly made for a very relaxing holiday.
The hotel has pools for all ages, a shallow small pool for the kiddies, and two further pools for adults. Poolside there is a bar/restaurant which opened from 10am to 7pm and caters for everyone.
The entertainment needs to be seen to be believed!
The location of the hotel is ideal. Its a 10 min walk into Corralejo so not noisy at all.

| said: We were'nt too impressed with the Hotel Hisperia Bristol Playa. On arrival at 1.30pm having been travelling since 3 am, when checking in we had to wait for our room to become available - we waited for about 30 mins. When we were given our room key we were told to keep walking left and we will find our room eventually! The male receptionist was pleasant but did not speak very good English at all. It would have helped if they had employed enough staff to show us to our room. In the end we had to dump the bags and go in search for our room. This was in temps. of about 40 degrees! Accommodation fairly clean but for the first time ever we noticed on three occasions during the evening cockroaches would creep in under the door!! Very disturbing considering this accommodation was 3 star. Not the sort of thing you need to be worried about on holiday! Also hotel pillows diabolical. In fact I had to request fresh pillows twice during our 7 day stay. Location of hotel was too far from the lovely beach - about a 15 mins walk in high temps during the morning so we spent most days around the pool. We would not have wanted to have booked for 2 weeks because we would have become very bored. Not a lot going on for older children during the days either, like water polo etc. A waterpark had been promised apparently since April 04 but this has still not been completed in August 04. Overall a relaxing holiday but would definitely not return. Sorry!
