| said: Myself and my wife Dot have been to Skiathos on a number of holidays but this was the first time we have stayed at The Magic Hotel although we have eaten in the hotels retaurant,The View,on many occasions.Now having stayed there we would not dream of staying anywhere else in Greece never mind in Skiathos.The hotel has 36 rooms,all with a sea view,in 3 seperate blocks.Each room is spotlessly clean and you get fresh towels and toiletries every day.There is an electronic safe in each room,flannel slippers for each guest,a fridge and TV,all these are included in the price so there are no suppliments to pay unlike other hotels we have stayed in.Breakfast is especialy good as you have pleanty of choice including cereals,fresh fruit,youghurt,cheese,cold meats,different kinds of bread,pasteries and of course for us English,bacon,fried and scrambled eggs,sausage,beans,tomatoes and even HP Sauce. We can not praise the staff highly enough,they are the friendliest most helpfull people you will ever come across,nothing is too much trouble for them.The food is the best wehave ever had on holiday, we ate in The View retaurant 12 nights out of the 14 we stayed there and the other 2 nights we ate in the Platanias Taverna which is only about 200 metres away and is owned by the same family that owns the Magic Hotel.Nicos and Monica and the other Nicos in the restaurant make it feel like home from home you realy could not wish to meet nicer people. Would we stay there again?Too right we would. At this point we would like to mention other members of staff that made this such a memorable holiday,Andreea,Medeea(Sisters from Romania)and Julian also from Romania they were such wonderful people and were a credit to the hotel.Hope to see them all again next year.

| said: Lovely hotel with very nice large rooms all with stunning views of the blue sea. The rooms have a fridge and a safety deposit box. Lots of wardrobe space and drawers. The staff were amongst the friendliest I have ever known. All rooms cleaned daily with clean towels daily. We stayed in an Executive twin and an added bonus for us was fluffy bath robes and slippers laid out on the bed for our use during our two week break. The hotel is bed and breakfast and the breakfasts were lovely, the usual bacon, eggs etc but lots of freshly baked croissants, fresh yogurt and lots of james, honey, fruit, cakes, etc etc.
There are lots of steps in this hotel, but as long as you are aware of this prior to booking, you should be OK. The swimming pool was lovely with a jacuzzi and children's pool, sun beds and brollys. They were just opening the pool bar when we were there and it looked well stocked. There is a box of umbrellas, beach mats,etc which Nikos shows you when he is taking you to your room, and these are for the use of the guests when they go to the beach if they don't want to use the beds and parasols on the beach. The beach is only across the road and there are lots of lovely restaurants to eat at. I will certainly return to this hotel (lots of the holidaymakers there when we were were returning guests). I can highly recommend this hotel. It was our first time there and I loved it.

| said: Magic Hotel in Plantanias is a wonderful to place to stay this was our 9th visit.
There are outstanding views from each room.
The owners have worked extremely hard and have been very successful in updating the hotel over the last two years and have installed a beautiful swimming pool with the same wonderful views over the bay.
The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. There is an extremely good selection of food at breakfast and the service is very good. It is a pleasure to have dinner in The View, food is good and fresh produce is used from the hotel's garden.
The view is stunning, watching the moon appear and the twinkling lights of the boats crossing the bay.
We shall certainly be going back the the Magic in 2007 and hopefully for many years to come.
