| said: Hotel Seyir in itself could be good.. if they painted it in plain colours and cleaned it regularly - including the glass...shipped in a load of staff who actually wanted to work.. and employed a chef who could cook.. replaced the sunbeds with new ones and let guests eat outside (afterall it is turkey!)... The cold food wasnt cold... uncovered and covered in flies.. the hot food was recycled and not hot.. and if it wasnt chicken or fish with pasta or rice it was various conotations of fried spam.....it was cheap and we didnt expect the ritz but it was a joke....the chicken was raw one night we saw the gardner cooking it in the dark outside....the only good reviews are from single women - obviously the attentions of the waiters pays off.......we used it as a base and spent loads more money on eating out everyday and only went back to sleep...... wernt supposed to be at this hotel only found out on bus that we were being UPGRADED!! dread to think what the other one would have been! the free drinks were gutstripping and made me quite ill.. only drank once and had the odd beer....the room was adequate apart from the mould in the bathroom and the smell of wee from the blanket... the noise at night was dreadfull but earplugs came in handy.....im sure theres more but i have wiped it from my mind... we were determined to enjoy our holiday so went out as much as possible....and did....

| said: We stayed in this Hotel for 2 weeks,my only complaint was that it needs a complete refurb - our room was fine, yes there was a bit of mould in the bathroom(but don't you get it at home) The food left a lot to be desired, but if it had been kept hot it would have been fine)I think that the majority of Brits abroad want chips with everything, pizza, burgers etc. go to Blackpool it you are not prepared tp try the food. For the price we paid we had a brilliant holiday, we went prepared to eat out, which we did most of the time - we went out a lot(to get away from the whingers our first week was full of them they moaned at the least little thing. I have been to Turkey many times and the location of this hotel is brilliant, but don't forget the culture is different as are the standards. Our second week was better and we did have an entertainer the second week(thanks Orcan and Ali) the atmosphere was great. If this hotel were refurbished be better still. A holiday is what you make it and we had a great one and met loads of lovely people(not counting the whingers)

| said: This hotel can only be described as an out and out S*** ***,be warned,do not stay here.
The food was totally unedible being cold and swamped in some sort of Turkish grease(1 meal made me sick for 3 days),the rooms were dirty dingy and very small the staff were very ignorant and arrogant, the rep only had eyes for the turkish men.
There was a bus that stopped outside the hotel every 2 hours(so much for the regular transport).
We booked for all inclusive but the food was that bad that we had to eat out. The only thing in abundance in the hotel were the tip boxes. We were informed that the lease of the hotel was due to ruin out in December and another company was due to take over, there for the staff did not care a hoot for the guests as they would all be out of a job in the near futor.
I could go on and on regarding this Hell Hole, but suffice to say I will never set foot in it again.
Be warned, keep away and spend your hard earned money in a better class hotel.

| said: We arrived at this hotel at 4am & were allocated to what i can only describe as a poor dog kennel, after complaining to our rep at 9am who informed us we would have to sort it out with the manager as it was not her job!, sums goldtrail up to a tee, after a bit more arguing we were allocated to another better kennel this was tounge & grooved, both rooms were damp & filthy with mould & cobwebs but this was not a problem as there was 2 open bottles of bleach next to the wash basin so sorted. The meals were disgusting we had the pleasure of watching them prepare the meat on a never cleaned BQ delivered uncovered in the back of a transit van & cooked placed on same tray as the uncooked, this worked as a young lad contracted samonella on his 3rd day. The hotel location is up a hill so not the best for the elderly or anyone with diffuculties. The hotel staff were totally unproffessional & quite aggressive towards people they could get away with it & would leer at all the young kiddies especially the chefs looking through the kitchen hatch, no entertainment just the same cd, everyone there at the time complained and we all got together to take numerous photo's so watch this space, oh & it was fun to watch all the staff trying to pinch the camera we used especially of the food covered with flies and all the filth in all our rooms. Ignore all the waiters girlfriends reports on here this hotel will be in another name next season so beware.Do not use this hotel or goldtrail as they ere totally 3rd rate. Hotel Sayir should be condemmed everything about it is the pits, so dont come back with the you get what you pay for as we paid £1600 & another £600 eating out. Would i recomend No, especially to anyone with teenage girls this hotel is a disaster waiting to happen. Beware. Goldtrail shocking.

| said: We have just arrived back from a holiday from hell!We arrived at 4am in the morning to be took to our room to find it was a small, dirty, dark, smelly room in the attic. My parnter being 6 foot 3 had to kneel down to go to the toilet and couldnt stand up properly in the room.We had two small windows that that was kept open with pop bottles and covered in mesh and climbing plants so you couldnt see out.We went down to reception to be told he had no more rooms and the manager wasnt available til 3pm.There was a emergency number for Goldtrail but he wouldnt let us use the phone as he said thet didnt open til 9.30am.Another couple had the same problem so we all stayed in reception. The night staff didnt make us feel welcome and didnt offer us any refreshments while we waited. We complained serveral times to be eventually told at 9.30am they had another room but we would have to be moved again in two days as it was booked. When we enetered our new room we were greeted with ripped sheets and pillows, dead insects on the floor which ended up staying in our room for the whole week as we didnt end up getting moved and ants in the bathroom. When my partner went to tell them, the maintenance guy came back with him and siliconed the ants into the bath! The ants came back a couple of hours later. At the time of booking we were told it was a 3 star(NOT),AI(NOT),walking distance to the beach(NOT)and had a kids club(NOT).We had to get a bus to the beach, the AI was restricted and there was only a slide for the kids but was only on from 11am for half hour intervals and finished at 4.30pm!The food was disgusting always covered on flies and what you didnt eat for your breakfast, was put in your lunch or dinner in some other form!I had uncooked foods on numerous occasions making me poorly. Its the only holiday i have come home and lost weight! The hotel was dirty and in need of decorating and the staff were very rude and ignorant. We were often ignored when we approached the bar for our drinks and we were told we werent allowed big beakers for our pop as they were for people who drank lager. There was plenty of children and adults with large beakers, drinking pop.If you werent about 15 years old and didnt drop your underwear then they wouldnt entertain you.The Rep was unprofessional too....she wasnt interested in anyones complaint she was more interested in her boyfriend who was a member of the bar staff. One member of staff was caught in a couples room standing over the bed of a naked couple. The lady screamed so the husband took the turk outside and gave him a good hiding. The police arrived and arrested the English couple until a witness told the police the turk started it.We were all told the turk had been sacked but he was back working two days later after the couple got moved to another hotel! They played music til at least 3 in the morning and young girls could be heard til about 5am getting chased off the staff all around the hotel grounds. They supplied under aged with drink too even after people complained. We definately wont be going back to this hotel and wont be booking through Goldtrail again!

| said: we have just got back from the hotel seyir, and i can say that we had a wonderful time at this hotel. On arrival we were given a room that was not suitable for us, it had 2 floors and anybody over a certain height would find it hard to stand up in. The hotel receptionist changed our room at no extra cost, she was very helpful, as all the staff were, nothing was too much trouble for them. We thought the food was pretty basic [ consisted of mostly salad] but it was fine. The rooms were always clean, the resteraunt was very clean, the pool area and bar were excellent. The bar staff were very entertaining, thankyou Alex Ronaldo, Orhan,Kay and Carlos. The hotel is maybe not suitable for anyone with a disability because of its location up a steep hill

| said: We did a week all inclusive and paid a very reasonable price.
I didnt like my room on arrival(no balcony) so asked to be moved, not a problem. The beds were comfy with firm mattresses, rooms basic, no tv or hairdryer.
Food was OK, lots of nice salad, stews, soups, grilled meat, fish etc mainly served with rice or couscous, only had chips once!!
Pool area was good, plenty of sunbeds (free), water slide, bar was in pool area, 10am to 11pm, free alcoholic local drinks, soft drinks.
Food was available at different set times of day, snacks, cakes etc. You wont starve.
Plenty of whingeing people though, moaning about rooms, hot water(lack of it), cleanliness of pool area, maybe these people shouldn't go to Turkey and stick to a 5 star in Spain.
Ovacik is in the mountains, 10 min walk to Hisaronu downhill, 8 lira in cab back up, as it was beginning of season quiet in the town, but would imagine it to be very busy in high season.
Went on jeep safari for the day, great fun and visited mud baths, £15, well worth it.
Went to Billys beach (free bus from Hotel)sunbeds 5 lira for day, a pleasant day in the lagoon.
Yes i would go back to Ovacik and yes I would go back to the Seyir.
Its great as long as you expect the Ritz.

| said: This is a great hotel, well placed for Hisaronu in a beautiful part of Turkey. We stayed one week all inclusive and thought it was excellent value for money. Softs, coffee/tea, spring water and local drinks from 10am - 11pm. Pay bar after 11pm. Overhead a couple of complainers wanting free drink after 11pm as they had gone elsewhere for lunch. Don't book all inclusive then! 13 hours of pre-paid bar should be enough for anyone. Food availability was good too and to a good standard. Plenty of healthy salads, soups and four hot dishes, sometimes grilled on the barbie outside. The rooms are basic, but comfortable and spotless. Bedding and towels were changed daily. I only use rooms to wash and sleep when I'm on holiday anyway. The bar is outdoors and does play music a bit loud until it shuts but we're not talking foam parties in Ibiza here. The staff were lovely and work really hard for the season. They gave us good hints for bars down in Hisaronu, which is a ten minute walk downhill (and five minutes uphill in a cab!) The pool area is nice, although some of the sunloungers are a bit old. The area is open to the front so you get a nice breeze coming up the mountain to cool you down, but not that open that privacy is an issue though. As long as you don't think all inclusive means a Sandals resort in the caribbean you should have a great time at the Seyir. I would definitely recommend it and I would definitely go back.

| said: On arrival the hotel looked nice from the outside, but once we entered the block we could see that this hotel was in serious need of a refurbishment. The room we were allocated had a wardrobe that didn't shut properly, a bathroom door that once shut you struggled to open again. The shower screen had been punched through. The bar staff were only interested in serving young girls and ingoring other clients, and blasting loud music out until the early hours. We stayed one night and booked into another hotel. Couldn ot fault the cleanliness of the room and can't really comment on the food as we didn't eat there. The hotel is located up a steep hill about 15 minutes from Hisonaru. Would not stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone.

| said: When we arrived the room was small and the balcony door overlooked the swimming pool, it had been kicked in that many times you could see daylight and did not lock properly, we did complain and got moved to another room. Very basic 2 beds, a set of 3 drawers, a wardrobe that you had to put the coat hangers on an angle as it was not deep enough and a safe. Air conditioning cost £20. per week. The safe cost £15. per week.Towels changed daily but not too clean, beds maid daily and changed weekly. Their is about 7 staff not one over the age of 20, not interested in talking to you unless they want to sell you their Turkish night. Breakfast consisted of diluted orange, tea, coffee, cucumber, tomato, chopped pork, cheese, honey, bread & butter. Hotel grounds and pool are nice visually, but we did feel that the staff had lost interest and just did what they wanted, loud music around the pool from 10am-12pm, some not suitable for childrens ears. This is such a shame as it is located in a nice area. But we will not be staying at this hotel again and I would not recommend this for family or friends.

| said: the hotel is in a quiet location but there is a climb up hill to get back to hotel from hisaronu centre. rooms cleaned everday and linen and towels every 2 days. Pool area is very nice sometimes could have been a bit cleaner. hotel staff nice and freindly and could not do enough for you some staff did try to overcharge when paying bar bill but most of them ok. we were placed in a very very small room with damp on walls but as soon as we asked to be moved they did so no questions asked. can be noisy at times a round pool and bar with the music.breakfast is turkish but nice all the same. we went to a nice pool further up the road when it got busy at ours it was called the evita and that was a lovely place which served lovely food and snacks and the drinks were also cheaper than hotel. would go back to the hotel and resort but maybe earlier or later in season as the temperatures were very very hot reaching between 42 and 55 everyday.

The staff were very helpful, and could not do enough for us. The breakfast was turkish, but we had cereal eggs bread as much tea coffee and juice as you wanted.
The swimming pool was really nice and the kids loved the water slide. There was also a pool table which was free and you could play on it for as long as you wanted.
The drinks at he bar were a little bit expensive but the bar staff were brilliant.
All in all we enjoyed our stay there and found the holiday good value for what we payed for it.

| said: There were 5 of us we stayed in Seyir Hotel "all inclusive".
Initially this consisted of breakfast, lunch, tea and bar 10.00am - 23.00pm there was a very limited choice of food available (ok if you like chicken every meal time!).
After complaining to reps this did improve slightly we then got tea and cakes 17.00 - 18.00pm and the bar was extended to 00.00. We were told we had to pay for water as we were "soft all inclusive". Following further complaints we were given snacks between 16.00 - 17.00 with three choices as this was all they could cater for although there was a snack board on site with at least 30+ choices.
The hotel rooms were basic but clean, with a lack of hot water.
The location was ideal we were off the main street but within walking distance of bars, shops and beach. The hotel staff were great especially Ahmed.
There was no entertainment at the hotel.

| said: Arrived 29th Sept to be told by the rep at the airport that the hotel we had booked, the Tlos was closed and that we were now staying at the Seyir. Thought the worst but was pleasantly surprised.
5am arrival on our first day and we just crashed out but when waking up I noticed that the cramped room we had been given was the only one in the block without a balcony or terrace. I went to reception and they seemed to have been expecting the complaint and promised to get us a better romm the same day which they did. The new room was a massive improvement. The hotel is made up of 3 blocks, 2 for accomodation and one housing the reception and restaurant with some accomodation above. All centres around a nice pool with a slide and the bar faces onto the main road. The staff introduce themselves the first day and could not be more friendly, they really make the holiday as they can not do enough for you, especially 'Steve', Paris and Ahmed.
We were B&B and it was traditional Turkish, but there is a staff member on hand who will get you eggs in any fashion for no extra charge. We left a couple of tips which might in part explain the service we got! The rest of the food is really just snacks but there are plenty of good restaurants in Hisaronu itself, can particularly recommend the Almond Cafe just round the corner on the way into Hisaronu, the only place we went to twice!
We paid 176 quid and I reckon thats pretty good value and if a similiar deal came up I wouldnt hesitate to go again.

Unfortunatly for us we were the last all inclusive guests staying as Goldtrail had decided the catering was not up to standard. was not a mager problem as very cheap and good quality food to be had all over Hisaronu.
The staff were excellent Ahmed and Alex made our holiday also Andy the bar manager who was one of the funniest people we have ever come across.

| said: we did book to be self catering and ended being all inclusive we did not mind but however the food we braught like every year such as cheese and things were going to waste, but when we spoke to one of the staff the offered us a frigde to rent, so we were really happy.
the cleaners worked really hard and for all the rooms they had to clean between them they still managed to do a good job, we didnt pay much for the hotel so we didnt expect the ritz and we were really greatful we had a hotel as good as this one and not like some over ones we have visited, infact this was the ritz compared to some.
just a 10min walk and u wer at the main road that goes to the main town u could walk to it in about 20mins, or if you fancied a change you could go by dolmus to olu deniz which has got lovely night entertainment and brilliant views, or to fethiya which is really nice to shop or just relax around the main culture of the turks.
the staff were great expecially my ahmed wow he was great and took real good care of us, as he did with everyone at the time, he took time from his breaks to show me around hissaronu, fethiya, and olu deniz aswell as ovacik so i really enjoyed it. nothing was to bog a problem for him as he always tryed to help out whenever he could. most people said he should have been the rep. which was true because we didnt see the rep at all, although we were tryin nearly every over day.
the only entertainment the had was the music and paris woould make a great dj he played everything we liked, people complained about the volume of it but to be honest it wasnt that loud and you could still sleep on a night as we know because we stayed over looking the pool and bar area so dont listen to what you hear just try for yourself. dont book anything with the rep really overpriced and you can find anything he has to offer for half price on the main road in hissaronu, i strongly recomend the turkish baths exspecially if u want ur tan to bronze and last it take all bad skin from you so i would got in the first week every 3 days and you will have a natural glow to your skin, also the jeep safari wow what an adventure it was great, go to the market in hissaronu on a monday but dont buy anything just look and remember what you see and what the prices are like and then go to fethiya on the tueday what a difference fethiya is cheaper and much more choice and easier to haggle the turks which i did to exellency. for example in hissaronu i seen 3 pair of flip flop sandles really nice ones for 10pound but when i went to fethiya i seen 5 for 10pound so you really do need to shop about. when in fethiya take advantage of walking up and down the harbour all night its really wondergul and you can get great deals for a boat trip too. i would definatly go back to seyir hotel but i would like to try tlos hotel as my friend strongly recomended it to us, so maybe next year
