| said: We booked this hotel as it was recommended to us due to the apparent close proximity to Lardos Town. We paid £780 for a double room with two extra twin beds for the kids. The price of this accomodation worried me as it seemed cheap for the duration. The hotel website advertises this hotel as a B class which is the UK equiv of a 4 star (this hotel is not that..!)
The hotel is in a terrible location. There are simply no shops or restaurants nearby. There is a hotel owned shop adjacent to the hotel. This shop
was actually well stocked and good value. We were able to buy fresh fruit, snacks, postcards, suncream etc.
The hotel is an isolated and desolate location. The beach is a very loose dust/shingle grey beach and is not at all attractive.
On arrival we were allocate a 'room' with 4 single beds! We chose to upgrade as the room was not acceptable and we could afford to upgrade for a higher standard. The upgraded room was still very basic but a lot bigger, brighter and had a
sea view with a large balcony. If you are considering booking this hotel then you will need to budget to upgrade. The standards of the basic rooms are incredibly poor.
The sea view was very nice, however it was often spoilt by the noise of young couples bickering as they lay on their sun loungers and women laying topless! We felt this was not particularly respectful at a family hotel and in full view of young children!
There was a serious shortage of sun loungers at the pool side. This did not affect us at all as we used the pool twice in two weeks! We found the water park
in Faliraki far more entertaining! We found it most amusing watching the people lay out their towels at 7am, or lay on the floor due to the lack of loungers! Not my idea of holiday comfort!!
The restaurant had some serious hygeine issues. When customers finished their breakfast the table cloths were simply turned upside down! We had croissants for breakfast a few times and dinner once in 14 days.
It would be unfair of us to comment on the standard and quality of the food as we ate there on so few occasions. If you are travelling on a very
strict budget then I am sure the food would be adequate.
The bar was adqueately stocked and the bar man was very friendly. The drinks appeared well priced. Again it would unfair to comment on the drinks as we simply had coffees on our return to the hotel, after visiting the towns in the evening.
The childrens playground was very badly maintained and we only witnessed it being used once. We did not allow our children to go in.
We spent every day touring the island in our lovely convertible 4x4! If you are not going to be driving then this hotel is certainly not for you as the location is extremely isolated. I can't stress that enough!
Our biggest complaint with this hotel was the cleanliness and the standard of housekeeping. We had no plugs in either the bath, or sink, and as there was no hook for the shower head, washing was an adventure in itself! Bear in mind this was an upgraded room!
I would stress that this hotel does not rate at a 'B' class equivalent and if like us, you are accustomed to comfort and style in your holidays then you should seriously consider your options before booking this hotel. Had we realised how the hotel would be, we would have certainly paid to stay in a better quality accomodation.
As it was advertised as a B class we simply thought we had got a bargain...we were wrong and have learnt a valid lesson!

| said: This is the first '3 star' hotel I've stayed in, so wasn't sure what to expect - the rooms were incredibly basic.
The breakfasts were adequate for this level of hotel, but I didn't try the dinners.
The pool was very small, and so the noise level from screaming children was unbearable at times, from around the pool and particularly the rooms overlooking it.
The hotel is in a very windy location, right by the sea....towels seemed to mysteriously disappear from the room balconies overnight!
The beach was across the carpark, and the inadequate sunloungers incurred a charge. Further round the bay is a fabulous beach however, which is a vast improvement on this one.
We didn't complain to the hotel at the time - mainly because it's ridiculously cheap, and we were just using it as a place to sleep.
If people are expecting much more quality for the prices this hotel charges, then they are rather naive.
