| said: This is a large campsite with direct access to a large sandy and safe beach. There is even a private beach for use by residents of campsite.
The site is well serviced, cleaning is on going due to pine forest and the resulting pine needles and cones need constant clearing up. They try to keep mossies at bay by spraying twice weekly.
The pools are closed for cleaning on a weekly basis.
We stayed with Roan camping in a mobile, they, the reps were very helpful, and accommodation was fine. We were situated near the shop and the second set of pools.
The shop was well stocked, fresh bread and fruit every day and very popular, as was the local wine on tap at €1.80/lt.
The reception staff and customer services were very useful and helpful. They had arranged a taxi to pick us up at and return us to the airport. They also arranged travel or gave advice on how to get to Venice and the surrounding areas, local markets etc.
Entertainment was split in two sections, the main area behind reception was used for kiddies disco 8.30 -9.30 then followed by various entertainers of continental extract. At the other pool complex twice a week there were concerts arranged, eg string quartet, classical music and tenors. All entertainment was complete by 11.00pm and the campsite was quiet.
We found the entertainment a little bit different but enjoyed the o sole mio and nessen dorme
