Howells from Cardiff travelled to Amazonas Apartments with Thomson on a couples holiday. There were 2 adults and 0 child(ren) in the party. The travel date was 11 2002
rated the Amazonas Apartments as follows: Cleanliness Location Staff Food Entertainment	said: Second week of two-centre holiday spent at Amazonas. On arrival appeared to be situated in concrete jungle. Actually very clean patio/garden and pool area, short walk (although quite steep) down to the beach, short walk to the Commercial Centres. Room VERY clean, well-equipped, living area overlooked the pool, bedroom at the rear. Staff EXCEPTIONALLY helpful. Lovely gesture, freshly baked rolls provided every morning (hung in bag on door) and small bottle of house wine with rolls on our final day. No nonsense at night as security man in reception preventing unwanted "visitors". Would be nice to have a quiet bar on site (snack bar closed at dusk) although not at the cost of the quietness of the hotel! Would go back in an instance - made our holiday. rated the Amazonas Apartments as follows: Cleanliness Location Staff Food Entertainment	said: We booked a Thomson Late Deal (accom. on arrival) for August/September last year (2001), and we were sent to the the Amazonas Apartments. This apartment complex is located next to the Kasbah and Metro shopping centres, which become busy nightlife centres at night. My first impression when we arrived at our accommodation was very impressed considering it was a late deal. The Room was on the Second Floor, with a balcony overlooking the pool and pool bar (the pool bar is closed at night, so no music/noise at night) There is also overnight security in the complex. Our room had a twin bedroom with safe deposit box, shower/wc room, kitchenette and TV (mainly german channels, with english news channels). The Beach was a 10 minute walk from the apartments. We didn't see any cockroaches, or the like around the complex for the whole fortnight. We are going to stay at the same apartments this year.
