	Camping Castell Mar is situated in an ideal coastal location and is a popular site in the Canvas programme. The site is set on the same stretch of safe, sandy beach as our other Rosas site, Nautic Almata, adjacent to the Empordá Nature Reserve. Families with young children will adore the beach of soft white sand next to site and the private emplacements. The well laid out facilities are all close by, including the swimming pool which is overlooked by the terraces of the bar and café. The large conservatory restaurant serves delicious local specialities including seafood paella. There is organised entertainment in high season with day time sporting activities for all the family and an evening programme packed full of fun, including colourful flamenco dancers!

rated the Camping Castell De Mar as follows: Cleanliness Location Staff Food Entertainment	said: A very clean and contained site. 5 minutes walk from a large undeveloped beach. Camp had free entertainment on every night. Early evening for the kids then for families later. You need a car to get to the site as it is a long walk either way to adjacent resorts. Nudist beach (if you like that sort of thing) about 30 mins walk away. Go and see where the money lives with a tour of Empuribrava. Very large nature reserve about 40 mins away. When we were there they were making big 'improvements' to the local roads which of course caused lots of traffic jams at peak times.
