| said: I must admit after reading reviews on this hotel I was a bit worried. Then after a nine hour delay we finaly arrived at night.
The first thing we did was make our way to the pool bar for a much needed drink and we were made very welcome by the staff.
The room was vey basic but comfortable and served its purpose, the bathroom was very small and the shower a bit difficult to stand in so be careful.
The cleaning of the room was not that good only got clean towels three times in a fortnight.
The pool area was quite nice and we tended to spend most of our time here relaxing. This area is also in need of some work.
Watch out for raised and loose floor tiles also the steps into the pool can get quite hot so watch you hands.
On the hole we thought the hotel was in need of some TLC,the staff were friendly towards us and we had a very relaxing holiday. If you book this hotel dont expect too much and you wont be dissapointed.

| said: We stayed here on a bed breakfast basis, the breakfast consisted of coffee, tea, cordial, bread roll, jam, Greek yoghurt and honey and on the odd occasion boiled eggs
But most people brought in additional stuff i.e. cereal and used the hotels milk which they did not seem to mind
The cleanliness of the room upon arrival was very good but the cleaning while we were here just seemed to be a quick brush around
The food at the pool bar was not the best I have had but was adequate the salads were about the best value and the tuna was the wife’s favourite
The location was good about 5 mins walk and you were in the area were all the restaurants and bars are, some restaurants got really busy around 8-10pm but there was plenty places to eat. Some of the smaller restaurants were as good if not better than the fancy bigger ones, the one restaurant that I must recommend is the two brothers they have nightly specials board which can be as much as 3-4 euros cheaper than what it says on the menu. Also closer to the hotel was one called Vinos we liked this restaurant but others that we spoke to were not as chuffed it’s a make up your own opinion on this 1 I think
The hotel staff seemed to be from the same family in most parts, the girl who serves during the day at the pool bar is from London and speaks good English.
The hotel had karaoke one night and Greek night on another night the karaoke was a good night but I suppose that depends on who comes to it The Greek night was good and the food seemed good at 10 euros each and I think half price for kids, but if you do not want to eat at the Greek night you can just go along for drinks at the bar and watch from there which we did because the kids were fussy eaters and we were not sure if they would eat what was on offer
I would visit this hotel again but we got a good deal and I felt we got our moneys worth I would not pay more than a £1000 per family for an holiday here as there were much nicer hotels in the resort but this was more than adequate
Just one more thing my son went to the shop a few times and the women who were sometimes serving tried to short change him the guy who served most of the time never did try it on just be aware its only pennies but its your pennies
And I also felt once or twice that the women who worked there tried it on with ripping you off i.e. on the exchange of travellers cheques I always got a better rate when I changed it with the guy who is on reception than I did with the woman its just a case of be aware its nothing new to anyone but don't let your guard down.
I must add that the rooms that do have cooking facilities are very basic facilities but the fridge worked ok.
The pool area was nice also but the area around the pool there were a few hazards i.e. uneven flags were you could stub your toe. The entrance to the kiddies pool had a cover over a drain that while we were there was broken and no attempt was made to fix it or put it right, no real problems just observations the pool does have a slide but it is not very good and it is bumpy and can hurt you a little so be aware but then I really should not have been going on it as it is for the kids
The trips with the reps are not that good value for money, there is a Grand Island tour and the people who were in the next room to us went on it and they said it was rubbish. It cost them 80 euros for the two of them and when they got to where they were going they had to pay more money for the entrance fee i.e. to the Butterfly valley and then more money to the ruins that they visited and also had to pay out for lunch. It was not included in the price and they did not even get a choice of what to eat.
What we did was hire a car for 50 euros for 3 days and we went down to the south of the island called at a castle called Monolithos (beautiful views from here) no charge to call here. Went to the beach were the seas meet and watched the surfers we also used the car to visit Rhodes old town. Becareful here though mad scooters everywhere, and used the car to visit the watermark which was an excellent day out but the cost was about 20 euros each 15 for smaller children but if you want to go on all the big slides pay 20 euros because you get a different coloured wristband.

| said: We visited this Hotel in July 2004 we paid £450 odd on a late deal B&B status, with the greatest respect looks good from the outside, but the place is pretty run down so be very aware if you going to pay full bouchure price. We had ''TWO'' towel changes in a week disgusting! Low balconies in my opinion not child friendly.
We by passed breaky after we seen it and went to a local cafe much better.
Be aware in the brouchure its says 10 min stroll to beach! yeah more like a 30 min trek lol but a pleasant one.
Only plus points were the pool and a bar and a certain barman, this a strange one there was a broken drain cover back in 2004! I wonder if it was the same drain!!! Which we brought to the reps attention, at the time of our stay we and other families complained to Olympic once to the local rep and we got back to UK to their head office in writing, but we brushed off with excuses such as technical problems and other boring fannel. I also noticed from 2004 to the present 2007 (you always check the full price with a late deal to see how much of a bargain you got) pricing Olympic have dropped their prices on this hotel, so just read between the lines it says it all!!! BEWARE AND STAY CLEAR OF THIS HOTEL and pick another hotel in this resort of Pefkos
