| said: We stayed in the LifeStyle Tropical and thought it was superb a total "chill out" week in paradise.
The food was far above the standard we normaly get at an all inclusives in Europe. The service from all members of staff was "top class" always wanting to fill up our glasses at every opertunity always wanting to get another drink after we has finished couldnt believe it !!
The room was at ground level & close to the pool / bar & restaurant "outstanding"
There was the "VIP" club which was a time share type upgrade which we were told by the VIP representatives would take about 3 hrs to see (Couldnt be bothered as were were both happy with what we had.
I would recomend this hotel for anyone not wanting to leave the resort and not bothered with evening entertainment.
There was evening entertainment at the Colosium but it was not up to much prefered the pool side bar.
Leaving the resort can be freightening as the nearest town is Puerto Plata and its very poor and all shops are small & have very aggresive selling tactics which can be a little intimitating ? Would recommend a guide if you leave resort.
It was the same in the airport and the duty free was like a Turkish bizzare as we entered we coul here the sales people chanting "cheap as chips" & " Asda price with me" it was quite funny to hear.
Would return to this resort again as it suited our needs and we enjoyed our stay in the Dominican Republic
