What The Brochures Say:
Skytours 2006
A friendly, lively and rather homely apartment complex made up of several buildings, one of which houses the reception and entertainment area. It's the base for a great family holiday - families with kids of all ages come here, many returning year after year.

This was our second visit to the Cristina and we again had a brilliant time.

The complex itself has changed very little, but if isn’t broke why fix it? Becky (the kids entertainer) and David were still there and remembered us from last year.

We had a one bed apartment this year with a camp bed for our daughter (had to do a bit of rearranging of the furniture as the camp bed was set up in the lounge area but this was no problem). The apartment itself was smaller, but we had a bigger balcony compared to last year. There is a kettle that you boil on the stove top, but you are able to hire an electric kettle for €3 (with a €10 deposit which is returned). There is a safe in the bedroom, which can be hired for €15 per week (with a €3 deposit).

Our daughter was able to attend the kids club year as she is now 4. Although she said she had a really good time, she only attended once as she was too busy playing in the pools with all her new friends.

There are two professional shows during the week but other than that, the evening entertainment comprises mainly of the kids mini-disco, bingo and activities arranged in the hotel by the entertainment staff. We rarely stayed late in the evening so cant comment on the late activities.

Eating out. We did eat in the hotel restaurant and found this to be a really nice meal and very good value for money. Definitely recommend it for at least one meal. We tended to walk into the main strip in Cala Millor for our evening meals. This is about a 10 minute walk with a 4 year old but we generally got a taxi back which is a standard fare of €3. We ate a few times at the Sundeck and would recommend this restaurant. The Rose & Crown was also very good (husband recommends the donor kebabs!) and we ate here a couple of times. We did go back to the AD Weatherspoons and although it was really good to catch up with Alan & Diane (the owners), the food wasn’t as good as compared to our previous visit. We ate at the Cheers bar but didn’t rate this very high.

All in all, another enjoyable visit to the Cristina Apartments and will definitely be returning again.

Have just returned from 2 brilliant weeks at the Cristina.

Stayed in a spacious two bed apartment. The kitchen was adequately equipped, plenty of cutlery and china. A kettle was provided that you place on the hob but took an age to boil but we found that you could hire an electric kettle from reception for next to no cost. Had a toaster which was a work of art but did its job. Our towels were changed 12 out of 14 days, bedding changed twice. The cleaner was efficient and we had no complaints. Safety deposit box available in the room.

The walk from the apartments to the beach/shops was not too bad and took about 10 minutes, once you found the best route for you.

The hotel staff were brilliant. Very friendly and couldnt do enough for you. Becky (the kids entertainer) was on her own as David was on holiday but she was brilliant despite having a stinking cold and no days off!. The evening entertainment was the usual - kids mini-disco (which mine loved), bingo, play your cards right, quizzes etc and a professional show a few times a week. If you dont like that sort of thing dont bother going but it was good fun and everyone joined in.

The pool was lovely. Kept very clean and tidy. We didnt have any problems with sun bed hoggers but I can see this being a problem during peak season.

The snack bar and restaurant were good. Food was as you would expect but very reasonably priced. We ate in the restaurant a few times during our stay. There is a supermarket on site that stocks a lot of British branded items but beware the prices. For those arriving late in the evening, you can purchase a welcome pack from reception for €10 (water, juice, margarine etc).

As for restaurants, mainly pub grub and not many restaurant but a visit to AD Weatherspoon restaurant is a must. Good food (and plenty of it!), friendly atmosphere, an enclosed and safe kids play area and good value for money. The Rose & Crown was ok but we only went once, The British Bulldog was again ok, The Sportsman (at the Sa Coma end of the resort) was lovely and we went here a few times.

We had a brilliant holiday and the question is, "would we go back?". Yes, already pricing up for next year.

Arrived back yesterday from the cristina apartments and have to say we had a fab holiday, apartment had two twin bedrooms, seperate open plan type kitchen, lounge and nice big balcony. Plenty of coat hangers, storage, pots & pans ect. Apartment was clean and beds and towels were changed 5 times out of the 7 days, couldnt fault it.

The bar staff are friendly thought the bar prices very reasonable, snack bar during the day serving typical burger type meals, prices reasonable too. Restuarant in the eveing ate in there a couple of times very nice. House rose wine yummmmmmy.

Entertainemnt is your usual bingo kids disco, quizzes ect, heard a few people moaning about it, but to be honest, if it isn't your cup of tea then dont sit there watching!!! Or taking part. Then you can't moan!.

Swimming pool nice size very clean, sun lounge hoggers in full force, from 8.00am, leaving towels out for hours and then coming down about 3.00pm Why!!!!.

Can't comment of the kids club as our children didnt go, to busy in the pool. Overall the complex is clean friendly well run and would I go back YES definitely.

About a 15 min walk to the beach, which was clean and large plenty of sand for digging holes. Just one slight moan was some of the clientelle at the crisitna, call me snobby I don't care, but I like to know what the children are up to, plenty of people just letting kids roam about all evening, over near the pool and gates out to the street, without a watchfull eye on them at all, and I thought after recent events parents would be more dilligent conncerning their kids, but then that's just my opion.

Anyway if you holiday here I am sure you will have a nice time, as we did.

We were in the Cristina for 11 days in July and I have to say it was the best place we have ever stayed in.

There was enough entertainment for kids and adults but not all day. Evening entertainment was very good I was lucky enough to win 675 euros. We have three children and they were very happy there.

We have never stayed in a self catering apartment with such a big kitchen, plenty of work surface. When we received our tickets it stated that we had a two bedroom apartment with bunk beds but when we got there we had 1 bedroom with twin beds and 1 bedroom with 3 beds it was fantastic. It was also very quiet after around 12.30 so ideal for little ones to go to bed early.

Every meal we had was very good. If you have very fussy eaters try the British pubs they will serve any combination of food you want. My daughter wanted chips and Yorkshire pudding one night and the rose and crown was happy to oblige. Cheers were also very helpful as were the whether spoons a very happy couple.

We will be going back to the Cristina but not in July a little to busy and hot for us we will try may or June next year.
