A wonderful place to stay if you want to be off the tourist trail.
Scala Sotiros is a small village with a lovely fishing harbour but rather a grotty beach. There are a handful of tavernas and shops here but it was really a get away from it all and chill out holiday.
The accommodation was beautifully set amongst the olive groves a short distance from the sea.
The rooms were nice and there was a little swimming pool here. Also a bar and restaurant so if you did not want to leave the small complex in the evening you did not have to. It was a great place to socialise with like minded other guests and the staff were fantastic. However you will need a car for part of your holiday to explore the rest of the island. A bus service does operate to Thassos Town a few times a day.

Clean basic accommodation, with great views from top flight apartments.
Pool area clean with ample loungers and owners will serve drinks and converse until early hours.
The taverna within the complex served home style cooking which exceeded our expectations and was excellent value for money.
Our only complaint with the room was a flush which did not work on arrival and a faulty roller blind which after several attempts to get fixed wasn't rectified.
