This was our second visit having been the previous year in November.
We flew with EasyJet from Bristol (very early morning flight) both times.
The hotel is only available through TravelCook.com. We opted for private transfers from the airport, one of which was free.
On both occasions we went, it snowed. November only saw one day, but December it snowed everyday we were there. It was a picture postcard.
Old Town Square is pedestrianised, so you have to walk from the road that goes around it, but this is only a few hundred metres.
Going through the big wooden doors is like a tunnel, of which a set of stairs take you to reception.
The staff are excellent there and will help you as much as they possible can. Nothing is too much trouble. And the chocolates in the reception area are nice too.
We upgraded to a junior suite and were not disappointed. The beds were huge - and the sofa bed opened up for our 9 year old daughter. Even with the sofa open, there was bags of room to move around.
The bathrooms are absolutely gorgeous. The baths are so deep you could get lost in them. Only thing was I forgot to take the bubble bath (and this is not something you can get in Prague that easily). The bathroom floor has underfloor heating so no getting cold feet.
We arrived on Boxing Day and had asked for a room overlooking Old Town Square, which we got. The views are nice but I have to say that it was quite noisy at times as it was the festive season and the market stalls were out. I'd still go back and still ask for a room overlooking the square.
