| said: The hotel was located in a remote area - only transport to town was bus or taxi- or a very long walk.
The food was repetative, same most nights, leftovers from night before used in something for lunch time. The food at lunch was much better than the evening. Unfortunaely both of us were very ill, as were some other guests in the hotel, but we were unable to pin point what caused it.
The pool was noisey with the day time entertainment blasting out - for a quiet time the beach was best. The hotel hires out snorkelling equipment and is well worth the investment - as well as dive shoes (less than£5) from the hotel shop.
Evening entertainment took place in an out door ampi theatre the noise bellowed over the whole complex - forget an early night if you want to relax, was also very dated. In December the resort hotel is occupied by a lot of Russians. Russians made up most of the entertainment team - draw your own conclusions!!
The hotel staff were helpful and the complex was very clean. But its not somewhere I would return

At the time we visited the resort was slightly isolated (not always a bad thing) although it was only a twenty minute trip in the complimentary bus to Na'ama Bay. There's a fair amount of development in the area, but we were never aware of it on the resort itself.
The food was excellent, I couldn't fault it; one of the few times I have gone abroad and not suffered from some sort of gastric upset(to put it politely)and the service was very good in a relaxed and friendly style. English is not widely spoken but everyone very keen to learn.
There are a lot of Italian visitors to this resort, therefore the entertainment is geared towards them,
but Na'ama Bay is easily accessible if you want more action.
I loved our holiday to Egypt and we fully intend to return to Sea Life Resort again this year.
