| said: We have returned to Martha's House for the last 8/9 years. Always such a warm friendly welcome from Martha and her husband.
Rooms are basic but light, modern and cheerful. A balcony with table and chairs, en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, television, and a small fridge (always very useful).
Martha's House is extremely close to the town without the noise that staying directly in the town centre brings. A 5-minute stroll will take you to the town centre where there is a good selection of shops, banks/money exchanges, etc. Car hire, boat hire, yachts for hire, diving trips etc. all can be arranged nearby.
Plenty of lovely restaurants to choose from for a lazy lunch or evening dinner and afterwards, perhaps a stroll closer to Martha's, for a Metaxa Greek 'brandy' at one of the many harbour cafes. Across the road from Martha's House is the Tennis Club complex. You can use the swimming pool or other amenities here for a small fee, or you can just pop over for a breakfast and other meals throughout the day.
Martha's is a handy place to stay which is near to town, whether it's for a few days or maybe 2 weeks. Close for public transport,- ferries/airport services etc, good value for money and extremely clean, and friendly. A real gem of a find!
