| said: Delta Beach Hotel - apparently 2006 is Airtours first year at this hotel - so there was no review for us to go by. Wish we had picked a hotel with some previous feedback.
The hotel was clean and tidy, our room was big enough for the four of us and cleaned daily with regular linen/towel changes.
In a brilliant location - right on beach, but with two pools if you didn't fancy beach. Just a short train/bus ride from main resort of Sunny Beach so you were away from all the shops, beggars etc.
The staff were OK - but could of been better???
The hotel was for Germans. All entertainment was in German they only spoke in English once (when we spoke to rep about it he said he had been trying to get them to speak in English for weeks!!!) Children could not take part in entertainment as the staff couldn't speak English and wouldn't allow them into the club because of safety reasons. So all in all entertainment was non existent.
The food at the hotel was absolutely dire. We don't expect 'English' food in a foreign country but we were being served slop/budget food.
Hotel is supposed to be four star - this is well and truly over rated. Started to eat out more - this was cheap enough and food was great - it was then we realised how bad food was at hotel.
Would visit Bulgaria again - but NOT this hotel. Please check with your tour operator - the day we left hotel Airtours rep was moving all English out of hotel (they had already got new rooms allocated for them at other hotels) -
What does this tell you???

| said: Delta Beach Hotel caters only for Germans, the evening entertainment for brits is none existant. We were all inclusive but wish we hadn't as we ended up out most evenings in the John Smiths pub(which is great and open till late)so we ended up spending on food and drink, this is very cheap anyway and my advice to people going to bulgaria is to either go B&B or selfcatering because it's so cheap and there are great places to eat.
We were inbetween sunnybeach & Nesebar and were pleased with the location, only went into Sunnybeach once we prefered Nesebar brillant resaurants and such a quaint & beautiful town.
My daughter 22 and partner 24 went into Sunnybeach a couple of evenings but did not stay late.
The aqua park at Nesebar is fantastic good day out for all ages. Loved Bulgaria but not the Delta Beach hotel as it is not ready for brits and nothing in the evenings for the kids.
