| said: We stayed for ten nights at this hotel after doing a five day of Sri Lanka. As soon as we arrived the staff couldn't have been more helpful, we filled in our arrival forms & within 15 minutes our suitcases were being taken to our rooms. The rooms in the hotel were very clean and spacious and we had a lovely view from the 1st floor.
The food was rather repetitive but always looked & tasted good.
The entertainment during the day was well organised but the evenings were rather poor.Had we not been exhausted from our first five days we would have been bored!

| said: Although the hotel is a bit remote the staff really make up for this.
We stayed in the bungalows, ours was right on the beach. It was very basic but clean. Our friends stayed in the main hotel, which was nicer, but our view could not be beaten.
The food was ok if you like anything, if your a fussy eater then I don't think this is for you. The desserts are really gorgeous too many to choose from.

Even the 'oldies' in our group found themselves playing minigolf and bowls! The kids became 'best friends' with most of the animation team, and we scarcely saw them. The hotel also served as a good base from which to see more of this wonderful island.
We shunned the larger organized tours and traveled with Benedict, proprietor of the ASDA store along the beach, in an air-conditioned minivan. For £20 less per person, we saw far more than the big buses: we scrubbed elephants down with coconut shells, rode on their backs and got showered from their trunks, visited a gem mine, a turtle hatchery, Buddhist temples, a mask factory, a tea plantation, and climbed our way up Sigiriya. Benedict proved a pleasant and energetic escort, who never stopped buying us gifts.
