| said: Just back after a break with family and friends, couldnot find any complaints about the hotel or its staff who are all very friendly, nothing was to mucj trouble for them. Set back up a small dirt track which made it a very quiet place, and left the pool to residents only. Plenty to do in the town although the entertainment was pretty much the same fromone bar to the next, most had a quiz and followed that with a karaoke which is ok if thats what your after. Overall our group had a good stay here and would go back to this hotel, just not sure about resort.

| said: the hotel rooms are tiny and so are the balconies. the fridge is a good help although it was very small. in the room there is 2 cups and one spoon a small wardrobe one draw and a bedside table. a friend stayed in the double room and the bed was smaller than a double (very cosey) the location is briiliant although it is down a small dirt track which is a shock when you get there, this helps the hotel to remain quiet so sleeping isnt a problem and no other holiday makers use the pool. the food in the hotel bar is nice but expensive eg 3 50 for a bacon butty and 2 for a cup of tea. cans of fizzy drinks were 2 euro so allow a far amount of monry for your food as there is no room in the rooms to even make a sandwich. The staff r very frindly and aim to please oh and i must not forget the beatiful friendly hotel cat that thinks its a dog hes fab. I would nt stay at sellas adain but i would stay in the hotels other accomadation that is close by.

| said: The breakfast was nice, with a choice of fresh bread, cheese, ham, eggs, cereal, cake and fruit, an english breakfast was an optional extra - but wouldnt of wanted a full breakfast everyday as this would have been to heavy in the heat.
The room was cleaned everyday, and we were pleased to have a fridge and kettle.
We thought the location of the hotel was perfect, right in the centre of everything, only a couple minutes walk to bars, restaurants and the beach, and everything else that you could want, the hotel was just off the main road so was nice and quiet when going to sleep.
We went to a restaurant that people had recommended on this site, but to our disappointment we did not enjoy our meals here. One place we would highly recommend is the 'Sweet Apple Cafe'. It is about 5-10mins walk but has lovely food and brilliant cocktails and the service was excellent.
The Hotel Staff were more than helpful, and as advertised there was no entertainment - it had a lovely swimmingpool and bar-restaurant and plently of other entertainment is only seconds away. For us it was just what we were looking for, as we wanted to explore what Corfu has to offer rather than staying in one place all day.
If one day we return to Corfu we would be happy to revisit this hotel. Thank you for our pleasant stay x

| said: The hotel was very basic but ok if you just want some where to sleep and chang. Beware of the mossies they are everywhere and you have to pay 50 euros for air con which trust me you need it for this time of year!
The hotel was in a great location just of the main strip at the quiet end. The hotel was very clean but dont bother with the brekkie only bread ham cheese and cereal, go to fagins round the corner.
Staff were friendly enough. If you want to go on excursions it is much cheaper to book with the agencies on the main road than it is with first choice. We booked a grand island tour which was 38 euros each but then we had to pay 4 euros each to visit monestery and 7 eruos each for a boat trip, after lunch it proved to be a very expensive trip, other tours we have done with first choice everything is included in the price but not this one be warned!

| said: The best thing about this hotel is the location, we were looking for a hotel that was close to bars restaurants etc, but not too noisy that you couldn't sleep!! We found exactly that at the Sella's. We only had breakfast at the hotel twice preferring a better breakfast in the surrounding areas. We had some snacks at the hotel some lunchtimes which we thought were very good value for what you were paying and the food was nice. The hotel itself is extremely clean and it was a lovely relaxing atmosphere. It is a shame that the only huge let down was the room, we had squashed mosquitoes on the wall, the bathroom smelt and whenever we had a shower the bathroom looked like a swimming pool, the decor was dated and not appealing at all. Other than that the people were relatively friendly, the areas excluding the room was very good and the food was satisfactory.

Breakfast very basic but sufficient. Didn`t have to get up too early for it either, it was between 8am-10am. Snacks were o.k but didn`t eat main meal here as it was only 5 mins from all tavernas.
Brilliant location, set enough back off main strip so no noise.
No entertainment but lovely pool, liked the peace!

Great location close enough to all bars resautrants etc yet still couldn't hear it all.
Would go to Corfu again but maybe a different hotel, but wouldn't say no to going back, Mimmosa and her son was entertaining

They would not change the room it was dirty and smelt.

The bathroom was big enough for children only. Nobody should go there for their holidays.

| said: A (mostly) friendly family-run hotel with very basic facilities (tatty furniture, awful shower, noisy fridge). Air conditioning is an "extra" - plus a deposit for a remote control to make it work! A mostly British clientele apart from 8-10 very noisy Greek lads (who felt the need to shout ALL THE TIME) and the infamous 2 Greek kids (who were quite amusing at first, but got on people's nerves after a few days).
Location is ok, in that the hotel is just far enough away from the main road that you are not kept awake all night by the many English bars, karaoke singers, "Greek" nights and Elvis/George Michael impersonators.
Our biggest problem was the fact that during our stay, at least one member of every group of hotel residents that we spoke to (over twenty!) had gone down with a pretty nasty stomach bug - too much of a coincidence? Our First Choice rep was utterly useless - he tried to convince us all that it was just something going round the whole resort and it wasn't just the Hotel Sellas...
Summary: Don't forget your Imodium!

| said: The Sellas hotel is a great family run hotel with a lovely, friendly atmosphere!
The food was pretty basic for a B&B board hotel but there are plenty of near by resturants for everyone taste. The hotel is cleaned daily, with maids cleanin rooms each day and changin sheets and towels every other day.
The hotels location is the best it could be,it is situated right in the of the centre of the resort set back a bit from the main Sidari road.
When you exit the hotels succluded road take a left for the family orientated bars and resturants for a quieter evenin or take a right for the more up-beat bars and clubs, the location is great!
Hotel staff were very friendly indeed, they are all related and like toget to know you and make sure you have a really great holiday!
I would definatly visit The Sellas Hotel again and I would recommend it to anybody, young or old!

Typically Greek basic apts.but kept clean & bedding/towels changed regularly.Usual Greek style breakfast, boiled eggs, processed cheese& ham, jam&bread,(using the toaster was tricky!).
The staff were great,Costas at breakfast,George at the pool bar and a special mention to Mimosa and her family. No entertaiment,no problem to us.
Oh,a first for us,free safety deposit box!

| said: We stayed at the Sellas hotel for 2 weeks in early May 2005, the rooms were very clean and the maids were excellent cleaning the room everyday (except Sundays).
We were a little dissapointed at having to pay a 20 euro deposit to get the remote control, and although the rooms were fitted with air conditioning, we were told at the time of the year we visited, the weather conditions did not warrant the air conditioning being switched on!!! and if it was turned on, it would cost a staggering 50 euro a week!!!. I was a little disturbed at the attitude of the staff on the air conditioning.... they may be used to heat, so therefore in May the staff do not consider it hot... however us brits were very hot....
The breakfast was very basic boiled eggs (green!!) bread, jams ham etc etc.
We never eat in the hotel as only standard bar snacks were offered, but eating in the three little pigs, or sea breeze (absoulutely fantasic) is very much recommended.
We found the hotel staff pleasant but no way over friendly as other staff in other hotels, bars etc....
We really were offended at the prices charged by the rep on the tours/excursions offered. We stayed on Greece mainland last year and booked our trips through the rep, and found on checking to be great value, but!!!!! here one trip into the town will show a massive choice of exactly the same trips excursions.... at massively cheaper prices... beware look before you book with your rep, you will find the exact same trip at sometimes half the price you are quoted in your hotel.
The hotel was only 5 mins from beach, but the general state of both the beach and the water (full of seaweed) was a little dissapointing.
The entertainment in the hotel was NIL.... the TV is non satellite, so either brush up on your Greek, or every channel will mean nothing to you.
We liked Sidari very much, but would not stay in the Sellas again.

| said: This hotel was very clean and friendly. Mimosa wanted to keep my youngest. We didn't really eat in the hotel we went out to restaurants like The Three Little Pigs and Sea Breeze. Beware of the woman with the long hair in Sea Breeze Restaurant she has an attitude problem if you sit outside. Think she's got pmt. Also beware of the man outside Shakers Bar ever night he might try to drag you in. The best time of day to go in the Shakers bar is the morning where they do the best full english breakfast. The rooms of our hotel were clean and nice and air conditioned. Wouldn't recommend the TV. The pool is kept nice and clean and there is a pool for the little ones so very good for families. The beach is good just a lot of seaweed that let it down but you get loads of water sports and we perticulaly liked the pedlos. We would love to go again.

This was my first ever holiday abroad and I could not have chosen a better one, my friend and I stayed at the hotel sellas for 14 nights, we easily got along with all of the staff, costas and mimmossa espeacially, fantastic people.
The hotel was located within 10 minutes of everything that we needed. The maids kept our room spotless for the whole time we were there. We ate occasionally but the breakkie was not to be reccommended. But apart from that the place was fantastic. I would recommend it to anyone!

The rep that lived at the hotel was very good but she was repping for another hotel our rep had a lot to learn in customer care skills.the weather went from one extreme to the other but everyone in the resort was so friendly it didnt matter. It was my first time abroad and by the end of the two weeks we didnt want to come home. We are going back in july for our weddind anniversary. The hotel was over the road from the beach and five minutes from the resort centre but it was so relaxing.this year they should have air conditioning and satellite tv in the rooms.
