A marvellous 3* Spanish hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the entertainment was what we’ve come to expect from holidays in the Balearics, good enough to come back early for from a walk into the town. The location was excellent so we spent our time on the beach rather than around the pool, so didn’t have to get up early to claim a sun bed. There were holiday makers from all over Europe in the hotel which surprisingly actually made the holiday better. The food was always hot and there was usually a good choice. We were able to sit wherever we wanted but I think the restaurant would be very busy in HIGH season.

on arrival, booked in very quickly,we had expected a small wait for all inclusive photo, but told to come back at our leisure later that day for photo.
staff very friendly and helpful, especially in dining room
hotel cleaned every day (spotless)
Gabby the resident entertainer worked tremendously hard on his own to keep all guests happy, especially the two days we had storms.
the quality & chioce of food was generally what you expect in Ibiza, chips burgers chicken nuggets etc for lunch, chicken, veal chips for dinner.
this did change midway through the week as about 100 spanish pensioners arrived for their winter break, the variety & range of food seemed to alter to suit
them and the dining room got very crowded & noisy as they all seemed to dine at about the same time.
I would return to this hotel, but probably earlier in the month if I went in october again.

This hotel is excellent for its three star rating. The staff were very friendly and although we had no problems, we witnessed a couple of other guests with some difficulties with their room and the staff on reception were very keen to help.

The food was at a very high standard and varied, particularly the show-cooking and we did not find it repetative at all.

the evening entertainment was OK, but not our taste. One excellent aspect was that the pool staff did not allow sunbeds to be reserved and the pool area was closed off until 9 am. Thus, no problem with getting sunbeds.

I recommend this hotel and would go back there.

Could not fault this hotel at all, food was brillant every night managed to make a good meal of what was on offer, chips available every night but also the better option of potatoes and veg along with a good selection of meats, fish and pasta.
The location could not have been better right in the centre: head right for san antonio or left for the bay. Everything right on the doorstep, few loud people heading back from San Antonio during the night but nothing more that what you would expect in Ibiza.
Entertainment was great, staff all very friendly and maid came in every day to make beds and generally clean round room.
The only downside I found was that the childrens splash pool was too deep, I have 2 children ages 1 and 2 and my eldest could just stand up in it. Ideally I think this could be a little shallower.
Great holiday and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Just back from Hotel Hawaii

Can't fault this hotel really is in an ideal location with some beautiful views of the bay and just a walk across the path to the beach.

Two supermarkets right across from hotel (the one up the hill from the hotel is cheaper) As for the meals after two weeks the food did get pretty repetitive breakfast was a choice of fry up cereal or crepes every morning and meal times was usually veil or lamb coal fish sword fish salad chips etc, but was OK.(avoid the chicken curry.) Prices in the hotel if you are not all inc. are expensive compared to some of the bars. 2.80 euro for bottled beer or 5.60 euro for spirit and juice, and 2.50 euro for coke, use the juice machine its cheaper.

The hotel cleanliness could not be faulty either, very clean in all area's. Entertainment wise we only seen a couple of act which were pretty average it's live bands, dancers, parrot shows. during the day there are lots of activities to do shooting archery water pool cocktail games can be good for a laugh.

The pool area opens at 9 every day the sunbeds are away for about five past so make sure get one early. In all great hotel only reason I wouldn't return in not much to do for families in San Antonio bay unless children happy sitting in bars playing bingo and quizzes.

And one last thing on my long report if you are talking children the balcony's rails are very low.

When we arrived at hotel we were at reception for about 5 mins before going to our room, which when we got there was absolutly spottless and we had a great view of the beach and sea, the only problem I had was that there is only one bar, which when you want a quiet drink there was nowhere to go but it only gets loud at nightime.

The food was great with lots to choose from but the same stuff every other night and it gets a bit too much.

The hotel was between the bay and town so either night life were only 5 mins walk in each direction, which is great because it was quiet but the bars and clubs weren't far away, the beach was only a few steps away and brilliant.

The staff were very friendly and always smiling with the odd grumpy waiter, but never nasty or arrogent. There was always someone to serve you at the and the all-inclusive is well worth it, the staff in the resturant were brilliant and you were never left waiting for drinks and they were clearing up straight after you had finished.

The entertainment was good with a different star turn every night but not really my kind of thing, but always busy with everyone having a great time.

We have booked to go in June next year and would recomend this hotel to anyone.

Absolutely spotless, from the toilets in the public areas to the private bedrooms and restaurant.

The food was always appealing and very well presented, lots of choice too.

The hotel couldn't be in a better position, right on the beach, a short stroll into San Antonio or the slightly longer walk into the heart of the Bay, which is much more for families.

Lovely views across the bay from our rooms.

Most staff very pleasant if a little slow to realise people who were at the bar actually wanted serving.

The all-inc. idea of having to sign a till receipt each time you went needs changing, although you could still get another drink straight away, but this idea slowed down the service and having only one card per couple wasn't a very good idea(you had it last, no, you had it last.)

Entertainment was 1st class, and if you didn't want to watch the artist it wasn't far to go to see something else. Daytime activities were regular and varied
Definitely a place we would go back to

When we first arrived at hotel hawaii, we had an unsuspected shock, are room had been double booked and we couldnt stay at the hotel for 2 nights! However, the hotel reception had booked us a too night stay in another hotel!

When we finally returned to hotel Hawaii, the room we stayed in was big and had a beautiful view of the sea!

There were lockers which could be hired and TV, phone and a fridge in the room! The entertainment at night was , fantastic, there were different shows every night and a mini disco!

The food was nice at the beginning of the trip but got dreary and boring towards the end of the trip! The whole hotel was clean and tidy but there were a few incidents were the lifts got stuck!

Had a nightmare when we arrived, the hotel had double booked us but they put us in another hotel for 2 days which was nice and paid for a trip for a day to a place of our choice.

When we went back to the hotel and went in the room,it was a good sized room with a fantastic view ovr the bay.

The food was ok,it got a bit repetitive in the 2nd week so we ate out a few nights, there were plenty of restaurants to choose from.

The hotel is in a great location right on the beach where there are plenty of water sports.

The hotel was spotless and the rooms cleaned every day sheets changed, towels changed regularly.

We found the hotel staff very polite and you could always get a drink when you wanted one.

Now for the best part, the animation team were brilliant. They always got you taking part in activities during the day and the bingo bongo at night was great,I won eighty euros one night. There was a good show on every night, intertur should be proud of Abby,George and Sam for the effort they put in.

We had a super holiday here yet again!!!!!

Food was mainly good...even my fussy son could find something to eat. The kids club was good and my teenage daughter had fun too!

The bar area was busy sometimes, but hey your on holiday so why get stressed!

The pool area was opened at 9 so if you got down there at 8.30 and waited you could get a sun bed.

The evening entertainment was ok...some acts were a bit blah...but you can always go out. Abbey and the entertainment team were brilliant!

What speaks for itself about this hotel was how many people come back to it...loads!!!!

Ok, we didn't have problems while we were there and I know people did...i.e. overbooking and thefts...but they were in the minority and can happen at any hotel.

We would go back there anytime.

Hotel lobby was very smelly (like a sewer smell) which you could also smell in the dining room (very off putting.

Hotel looks dated and dark and dingy when you walk in.

Indoor Bar area is tiny and takes ages to get served.

If you are booking all inclusive for the snacks then dont bother. "Snacks" are white bread, cheese, ham, and sometimes you can get little tubs of ice cream.

Pool area is tiny and all the sunbeds lie touching each other so there is no room in between them.

Beware this hotel has a habit of overbooking and using the Hotel Neptuno (which is even worse) for the overspill. I would definately not go back to this hotel. Even if they offered to put us up for free.

Just returned after two weeks in this hotel found it to be ok.

The only thing that made this hotel good was the entertainment staff (Abby,SAM,and the smurf)and are all a credit to intertur.

The food was not so good always cold and very little choice.

We enjoyed what we made of the holiday and managed to avoid getting "drunky drunky on the drinky drinky and ending up in the pooly pooly".

Some good shows on at night especially the beetles revolution act and the bingy bongo (bingo)hosted by Abby always drew a laugh.

On arriving at the hotel we were given a room on the first floor overlooking the back of the hotel. I was happy with this as I would rather be on a low floor.

If you want to change to a sea view room it costs 5 euros per day, as you spend very little time in the room I personally wouldnt bother.

The rooms are basic but clean. Very little hanging space in the wardrobe, there was a tv in the room but you had to pay to use it, I liked the laminated floor, much better than tiles.

The safety deposit boxes cost 3.15 euros per day, i thought that was very expensive. I liked the fact that the corridors had carpets on them so no being woke up on a night when people were coming back in the early hours.
Only had breakfast twice so cannot really comment on it, hubby went most mornings and said it was o.k.

The evening meal, I wasn't very impressed with a lot of the meals not much choice and nothing for children. We did have a few that i really enjoyed, but some nights there was hardly anything that I liked. Lots of sweets for afters. I wouldnt put the hotel a 3* for food.

The location was very good you are in the middle of san antonio and san antonio bay, shop just across the road, bars nearby.

The hotel staff on reception were excellent, no problems at all. The bar staff where terrible, didnt want to serve you spent more time talking, we upgraded to all inclusive the last 4 days and the bar staff did not want to know when you went for a drink with your card.

There was a few that were ok but most were very rude, giving you small glasses and measures.
The kiddies club entertainment was excellent, my son really enjoyed himself, they get points and then when they get so many points they get medals.

The entertainment on a night was not very good at all, Some were quite good but most of what i saw was worst than pub singers.

There isn't many sunbeds by the pool and at the time we were there the hotel had overbooked and people were stopping in the hotel across the road but using the hotel Hawaii for the AI. This caused difficulties getting a sun bed, if you didnt reserve one by 6.30 you had no chance so take an alarm clock.

All in all this was a great holiday, the people staying at the hotel were all very friendly, would not go back due to the fact there wasnt much for kids in the resort itself.

We found the hotel to be okay and the cleaning staff were fine and polite. Our room was cleaned everyday with clean towels each day (leave them on the floor after use) and we had bed sheets changed twice a week.

The food for breakfast was fine a full English breakfast or continental breakfast, pancakes, cakes and plenty of drinks. My only problem with it was every three days or so they would remove the English style bacon and replace it with Spanish ham cooked ten seconds each side and was naff. The evening meals was a joke chips with everything I never saw any mash or boiled potato's or roasts and no veg even when they served roast beef or pork. The food full stop on a evening was the worst I have ever had in any hotel. I even complained (I wasn't the only one). After four days we decided to swop the evening meal for a packed lunch which included two bottles of water, four bread buns, two jams, and a very nasty ham, two apples and two oranges. We decided at breakfast time to have away some cheese and decent ham and bin the ham they had included in the pack lunch. We did this four 3 days but after a week we decided to eat out which we did the following week.

The hotel location is set right on the beach and the views were brilliant but remember to book a sea view room other wise you will end up with a building site view at the front of the hotel.

Reception staff depending who was on could be a pain having make you wait while they chatted amongst themselves and the bar staff were okay but then again there was a couple who didn't seem to like their job and tried to make you think they were doing you a favour. The cleaning staff were the tops in my view.

As for entertainment their was things going on throughout the day for kids and adults I went off fishing instead. The evening entertainment was a Butlins set up kids disco at 8.30 till 9pm then bingo followed by a turn from 11 till midnight and the bar stayed open till 1am. A word of advice if you get a room over looking the bar and entertainment room don't plan to get your head down till after 1am the noise will keep you awake even after the entertainment had finished at midnight people sat outside. Just before we come away they had put a stage up outside so I guess it will get worse. My advice stay out and come back smashed after 1am.

To be quite honest if this hotel did not have the views it did then I would of said it was the pits. I have stayed twice at a "intertur" hotel and won't be going back.

Food was very good and a fair choice and dining room staff very good. Bar staff not so helpful and we found it easier to use the waiter service (which was possibly the intention).

Room was facing road but was not particularly a problem. You get the sun here early in the day to lunchtime and you still get a partial bay view. There was a small building being erected in front of us but this caused no great noise and in fact I enjoyed watching the 2 to 3 guys working on it.

Thomas Cook rep Miles was a really good rep and very helpful.

The entertainment staff for activities during the day were great and although it's not usually my scene I participated in many events. Evening shows were good as well and the small amount of kids were well behaved.

Location is probably the best in the bay as you can sit at the pool or the terrace and people watch and just relax.

We only went into San Antonio one day although water taxi was just outside the hotel, or it was an easy and pleasant walk if you chose.

We tried to book a further week but this was going to cost us more than our original holiday, but we would definitely return.

Got a shock when we saw how much cigarette/tobacco costs have increased at the tabacs. Last September 25 euros now 31.5 for Mayfair Golden Virginia 38 now 44.
we would definitely go back.

We stayed at the hotel Hawaii in San Antonio Bay.

The room was a bit basic, the only power point was in the bathroom. Our room was at the front of the hotel which overlooked a building site and the main road, so we could hear everyone coming in late at night.

The food was very good, well prepared, well cooked and plenty of it. I noticed that they also catered for kids.

The bar staff weren't very friendly, they didn't smile much and you felt as if they were doing you a favour by serving you.

The restaurant staff were very courteous, always smiling and polite.

The hotel is situated right on the beach front, where we spent many an hour 'chilling out' and watching the people go by. All in all we enjoyed our stay here.

Hawaii hotel is in great location.

rooms very dated but clean great sea view from most of the rooms.

Good choice of hot and cold food at breakfast
lunch and dinner ok, always found something to eat
animation programme excellent, activities throughout the day, darts, shooting, coktail games, water polo etc. mini disco bingo and shows every evening (some very good).

Bar staff rude did not smile kept you waiting at the bar, we were all inclusive we got the impression they did not like all inclusive guests, people paying for drinks would be served before you.

We complained to the manager about the bar staff so did lots of other all inclusive guests. If you sat with people who were half board bar staff would spy on you to make sure you did not get drinks for the half board guests, 3 couples while we we were there got accused of getting drinks for half board guests.

Over all we had a great holiday in Ibiza will return again just not to this hotel.
We think this hotel should either be totally all inclusive or totally half board would perhaps solve the bad customer service from the bar staff.

When we arrived at our room I was a little disappointed as the room was very dated and basic, but when I saw our sea view this compensated this. (I heard rooms are being updated for next season). Although rooms were dated the rest of the hotel was modern and all of hotel was clean.

We stayed half board and for a 3* hotel food was excellent.

The hotel staff were all friendly and very helpful.

The entertainment was ideal for us starting with mini disco at 9pm then bingo then act or cabaret show until midnight (by this point our little ones were asleep in their pushchairs). During the day there would be water polo darts table tennis etc.

This is the second year on the trot we visted this hotel. We have 2 young girld and it is fantastic. Right by the beach, away from the clubs.

Hotel entertainment during the day is good for both children and adults. Evening entertainment did get a bit repetitive (kids disco which the girls loved, followed by tedious bingo in 3 languages followed by main event which was usually very professional).

Out and about there options to wal anywhere was limited -best option was to walk toward the clubbing centre of San Antonio which was a 15 minute walkaway along the front........but felt out of place amongst the young clubbers !!

We went half board on both occaisions with on complaints......there is a shop acroos the road which we went to for snacks for lunch time.

Room maids very friendly.

Would stay again and again and again.

Our group consisted of 3 girls, we are all in our twenties so the location of the hotel was prefect. We where within walking distance of all the clubs and bars but far enough away from the noise.

The hotel pool got busy before 11am, but this wasn't a problem as the hotel is right on the beach.

The hotel seemed to have a lot of activities on throughout the day and in the evening, we didn't take part I think it would be great for families.

The hotel was very clean and friendly. We had 3 in a room, which we first thought would be cramped, but the bathroom and bedroom had more than enough room for us to get ready in. The big mirror in the bathroom was fab.

The food was very nice but I have to say we get a few strange combinations on an evening. Going half board saved us a small fortune excellent value.

I would recommend this hotel to anybody think it would be great for families or small groups of girls as the hotel felt really safe.

Just got back, group of 8 of us, 3 couples 2 of which with 6 yr old boys with us. Excellent holiday, brilliant location, straight onto beach in less than a minute.

Gorgeous food, and being all inclusive was just great, kids having ice creams, milk shakes, coke etc, and the food was just amazing, you could try a bit of each, and go back for more of what you liked.

Hotel really clean, one of bar staff had a very bad attitude problem! but hey, it was hot, but we were all inclusive and he didn't seem to like just serving one of our group with all our drinks, would have taken ten times longer to serve each of us seperately as they still ring it in the till! strange!

Only other complaints which are really trivial are there is only one plug which is in the bathroom, not so safe when youre doing your hair, (hairdryer, straighteners)and you have to get up early to get a sunbed! they go first light!

But we all thoroughly enjoyed the holiday, would definately go back there again, no problem. Like now! Missing it already.

Another plus for all inclusive was water is free too. Which we needed alot of as it was so hot. Hotter than I expected for May.

Can't fault the place at all. Was good that they put us all on same row/floor too, 3 rooms.

Just brilliant, entertainment ok too, its what you make of it. Wish we were still there anyway.

Entertainment was ok...kids loved it...Abbey was great(entertainment guy)

Staff were polite....esp at the bar.

I would firstly have to say that my stay at the Hawaii hotel was very enjoyable.
To start off with we experienced a few problems. When we arrived we were told we were on floor 9, yet on entering the lift there was only 8 floors! the receptionist had told us that we would have to climb a few stairs to reach our room. it turned out to be around 10 narrow stairs we had to climb before reaching our room. on first impressions i was not impressed! we were literally on the roof with a lot of noise from the generator, which subsequently ensured for a sleepless first nights stay.
the following morning my boyfriend enquired about changing rooms which the reception staff were very helpful in sorting out. by the end of the second day we were in a lovely room on floor 6, with a beautiful view of the bay (although this did set us back an extra 70 euros)
After a bad start, the rest of the holiday was perfect. food was great for a fussy person like me, but it was sometimes repetative, which i liked though as i knew what i was getting!
entertainment was great with both daytime and nightime entertainment for both adults and children.
the location was perfect, you could either enjoy a night out at the clubs (eden, es paradise) or alternatively a quiet night along the bay at some of the quieter bars and amusement parks.
Overall i really enjoyed my stay at the hawaii. i get quite homesick but the hawaii was the perfect place to visit for an enjoyable holiday and one where i didnt want to go home!

Just returned today and already missing hawaii hotel. The hotel was clean and airy which must be hard as there was so many people there.

Food good, awesome salads and chips most days for fussy guests and kids. Hotel right on beach, sea beautiful, snorkles are a must as there are lots to be seen only a few feet from the shore.A few friendly staff but most are obviously overworked .A course in smiling wouldn't go amiss. The entertainment was excellent!!!! Abi was ace and his epertise in languages added to his talents. Danny and Natalie were new recruits and were worshiped by the children and were brilliant with all ages.

I would love to return to this hotel but the safe deposit boxes are far to expensive to hire thus young people tend not to bother which results in theft, this happened to one unlucky couple on the beach last week their holiday ruined.

A great holiday overall but one suggestion would be to use plastic glasses by the pool, which is great I might add.

Stayed here in september 03. Hotel seemed ok at first glance, but a few problems emerged as we started settling in. Firstly, there were no plugs in the rooms. I had to unplug the tv to use a hairdryer. Secondly, I had to pay an extra fee to use the safe.
Reception staff didn't seem either helpful, or bothered.
I'm sure the entertainment was good, but I didn't really stay in the hotel for that, so I've given that an average score.
Finally, I was apalled at the attitude of one of the bar staff. It seemed as though customers wanting to buy drinks and ice creams were an inconvenience who were rudely interrupting his converstaions with other staff.

This hotel has the best location of all the places or resorts we have stayed in. It's right on the beach with a wonderful view of the bay area. You are a nice walk or a lovely boat ride from the busy town area with all the clubs and bars. We paid extra for a room with a sea view, and boy was it worth it! On our first night there was a 20 minute fireworks display that was being set off right under our window but we where well warned by the staff when they saw we had a 6 month old baby with us. The lifts are a bit hit and miss but even the walk down the stairs is pleasant (maybe not with a buggy) as you get a panoramic sea view all the way down to the 70's style cool retro foyer area.

The bar and pool area is well thought out and there is a shaded dining area serving lunchtime barfood/snacks. Just the thing for cooling down. The pool is large and clean with plenty of free sun loungers. The kiddies pool is also very nice and secure.

The room (ours was pretty high up, 7th floor I think!) was very clean but basic. Plugs where hard to find but the staff let us borrow an extension lead with extra plugs so we could use our baby bottle zapper. Be warned if you pay for the TV though as there is PORN available from very early in the day and right through the night on one of the channels.

The food is very good, particularly the fruit, desserts and kids food. The breakfasts where very nice but sometimes the adult evening meal choices where a bit boring. Wine/Beers and soft drinks are about average for hotel prices.

The staff where lovely. Very attentive and friendly. Loved children (well our daughter at least). Always greeted us with a smile and a bit of chit chat. The entertainment during the day for kids was varied and looked fun (our daughter was too young but we did not see a creche) and the hotel entertainment leader setting up the adult poolside games always drew a crowd. The catch-phrase for our 2 weeks was 'drinky-drinky....pooly-pooly'

We would love to come back again. We planned to do so this year (summer 2004) but our plans had to change so we are going to Tenerife in Jan 05. Look out for a report on the Green Golf Appts. from us soon after.

The Hawaii hotel is fantastic accomadation. This particular holday was the second time I had visited the hotel.

To start with we recieved full board for the price of half, we were given free drinks vouchers on arrival and our room was very clean and while not overly large was just big enough. The view from our balcony was the best thing about our room, it was breath taking. We could see the full length of the bay and at sunset it was amazing.

The staff are friendly and helpful so I think the holiday maker above must have just caught one on an off day. The food was good with a decent choice and the deserts and breakfast were particularly nice.

All in all we have had fantastic holidays here, my first visit had a full range of generations and every age group thoroughly enjoyed themselves, so much so I will be returning for my third visit in September 04 with my daughter.
