| said: Spent two excellent weeks at the Planet Studios. We were met off the coach on arrival and escorted to our rooms (even had our bags carried for us). The rooms are well-sized, very clean, and all have balconies that overlook the pool. All rooms are cleaned daily (to a very high standard), and towels are changed regularly. Aircon is free for all First Choice customers, and the safe costs 20 euro's per week to hire.
The pool area itself is not large, but theer was never any problem getting a sunbed (at least after the first day when the management started to remove towels from beds that had been reserved at 6:30, with teh occupants no arriving at the pool until after lunch). The only slight downside is that the pool does not appear to be cleaned on a regular basis, and was very cloudy at times.
Food at the pool bar is OK - although not spectacular -and is always served with a smile by Sandra (who manages to put in a 10 hour shift on her own !!). Drinks are a little pricey, so it can pay to buy some from the local supermarkets and put them in your fridge.
Evenings at the Planet are quiet lively - this is a pub afterall. The staff soon find out that you are staying at the apartments, and will always find you a table no matter how busy the place is - you always seem to get preferential service as well.

| said: this was our second visit to the planet and we can honestly say that since our last visit in 2006 things have definately taken a downward turn. although the appartments are still very nice, the cleaning standards are not as good as they were last year, the towels weren't changed as often as we would have liked and some days the floor wasn't swept. our main disappointment was the pool area as for the first four days of our holiday it was very cloudy and it wasn't until someone complained that they did something about it. on several occasions the electricity failed, and being as the water around the complex is electrically pumped if you've got no electricity then you've got no water which is great when you're in the middle of your evening shower.but having said all this we did still have a great holiday , but if the owners want people to return to this complex then they need to concentrate on ongoing maintenance instead of just doing repairs when someone has complained, they need to concentrate more on the appartment side instead of putting all their efforts into the attached nightclub/bar which is obviously where they make most of their money.

| said: what a fab place went to the planos last year a bit to quite so thought we would give planet a try.room great a corner bath, t,v, pool view ( all had a pool view) we were right opposite the bar room 203 never had a problem with the noise at night once the shutters were shut ( we were there every night any way) my teenagers 18 & 16 thought it was great made loads of mates. already booked for next year 24th july (can,t wait our friends coming with us next year). bar staff are great will find you a table & always know what you drinking hi to shelly, nick, ricky, sharon, babis see you next year keep the strongbow & mythos chillin

| said: Hi - we ended up at this hotel as an allocated on arrival. Were we dissapointed... most definately not. We arrived at 6.30am to be greeted by a friendly smile. We were in a room which slept 3 people. We had a fully fitted kitchen, air con ( a 1st for all the times ive been to greece!!) TV. Room was spacious. The balcony over looked the pool area. Although the music from the bar was loud, they have sound proofed shuters and patio doors - however - we were that tired - we didnt hear anything. The food was basic - however in that heat - i struggle to eat anything. I can recommed popeyes to eat - always a good sign when the reps eat there. The hotel is a 5 min walk to the sandy beach. Would I stay here again - yes.

| said: the apartment is just ok, the cleaner who was cleaning our room must of been superwoman she but the towels in the room and she must of forgot she had to clean the room all I know we had to get a brush and mop and clean the room ourselves, and we was in the new block and on the top floor and the smell was awful had to leave doors open for ages and had to buy an air spray.
The bar is a joke if your over 30 and thats being kind you are alright up to midnight then the kids are there just like 18-30 loud music and i felt sorry for the people who had rooms opposite the bar because they heard the noise, we was lucky, the police came twice to tell about the noise but when they left music was turned up again, and one more thing if you think you get drunk or merry on the cocktails think again I know I tried.

| said: We went self catering to these apartments but I must say the food that you could purchase was good value for money and very tasty.
Lots of regular stuff like burgers, hotdogs, toasties which is great if your by the pool all day and great if you have kids like myself.
Plenty of facilities in your room available too. We had cooker,rings,toaster,kettle,cutlery,chopping boards,its got everything you could possibly need to enjoy your holiday. Lovely corner bath and hairdryer also. Rooms large and all rooms overlook the pool.
We stayed here for a week and there was only one day the cleaners did not come. Brilliant location, I would say you were pretty much in the centre of everything, Staff very helpful and make you feel welcome,
There is a bar at planet that can be a little noisy and can go on till 4 in the morning but the soundproof doors keep most of the noise out. My son is only four and it never woke him up.
All in all, this is the best holiday my family has had and we will be returning next year.

| said: This was the second summer we have stayed in these fairly new and very clean apartments.
There is a lounge/kitchen area with fridge, small oven/hob, kettle and toaster. The bedroom has twin beds and both rooms are air conditioned which is worth the extra payment (free in July/August).
The bathroom has a corner bath with shower and again is fairly new and very clean. The room has double glazing so with the patio doors closed any noise from the bar is shut out.
The pool area is great as there are plenty of sun beds and close to the bar for drinks and snacks. The staff in the bar are very helpful and friendly and seem to work 24/7!
The bar is very lively in the evening. It is only a short walk in either direction to lots more bars and restaurants and the beach is about 15 minutes walk.
